Supriya kept thinking about him, and her anger on him had lessened. She discussed with her parents.. and they too felt that she should say yes, Vinay is nice and hasn't let his ego come in between but apologized for his mistake. Supriya too felt she should meet him and tell him soon her decision.
Supriya called up Vinay and they decided to meet at a restaurant.
Supriya: Hi Vinni… (she had a beautiful smile and she looked lovely in a simple maroon outfit with a huge earning matching)
Vinay: I am doing fine.. u r looking very beautiful.
Supriya blushed and felt shy…
Vinay: let's order something… what will u have..?
Supriya: whatever its ok… just nothing non vegetarian.. I don't like Chinese as well..
Vinay: ok.. I love Chinese.. but still..
Supriya: No its ok u can have Chinese… I will have Utappa.
Vinay ordered for him Chinese food he liked and for her Uttappa..
After the food was served, Vinay and Supriya kept looking at each other and smiling..
Vinay: hmmm Priya. So .. have u decided..
Supriya(She smiled) Vinay had realized that it was yes from her side... Still wanted to hear it from her..
Supriya: We r not in love yet.. but . hope our friendship continues… and lets..(she was a bit shy) lets get married and give this friendship chance to be more stronger.. and deeper..
Vinay was full of smile and Supriya smiled along with him looking at his face and feeling shy at the same time.
Vinay: wow!! Atlast.. Its together to be… Sometimes I feel.. our past was past perfect… as it was a perfect way to bring us more closer and know each other in a better way.. Whenever I think about our past… each its own.. I feel it just explains our evolution, our growing up process which all will help us in future to know so much we have gone through.
Supriya smiled: yes Vinni.. our past never will make us feel ashamed but feel proud that we faced it and came out of it like winners.. Our present is beautiful even though past had wounds …
Vinay: Ur philosophy also has doctor language… (he laughed)
Supriya: Oh… ..(she blushed)..
Vinay kept his hand on her hand… and said,
Vinay: Wounds have healed with time but not completely; they will now with the abundance love we will have in each other heart…as our marriage builds the foundation…
Supriya smiled with his words.. and kept her other hand on his hand..
Our past for others may be imperfect,
For us it's laid a foundation strong n perfect,
We now feel more for each other, want friendship to continue at any cost…
We have learnt the important lesson that Trust in a relation comes foremost…
As their marriage date was fixed they had come to a jewellery shop. Vinay came there and hugged Supriya, they both happily were deciding on the engagement ring to buy. Soon Supriya saw Vinay gazing at a woman. It was indeed Saujanya … She realised the admiration he still has. Vinay went and greeted her… and she very fondly kept her hand on his head.. Supriya was standing next to him but he forgot to introduce her.. Supriya was not angry but feeling the happiness Vinay has on his face after meeting Saujanya. Saujanya was shopping jewellery for her daughter's wedding. After the conversation as Saujanya asked about the lady next to him, did Vinay realize Supriya's presence. He felt guilty for getting engrossed speaking with Saujanya .. He introduced her as his fiance… Supriya told even she was in the same batch, after a while they left.
In the car.. Vinay kept quite he felt extremely guilty for having the admirations still inside him. Supriya understood his situation. Vinay was all with guilt and couldn't face her… Supriya when left the car..looked at him..and his face..
Supriya: Why feel so guilty.. Vinay its fine… ur admiration for her I am ok with it… Don't feel guilty don't hurt urself with that guilt inside… she smiled.. she put her hand and with that soft touch touched his face and patted his back…
I can understand that
after a long time u saw her,
I can feel there is admiration
still in ur heart for her,
Nothing to feel guilty
I know u care for me equally,
I am happy can feel u have
lots of love for me really…
Vinay held her hand and kissed her hand: Thanks Priya.. thank u.. (he got a bit emotional )I am all urs.. really…
Supriya laughed at his words…and Vinay realised how typical line he is speaking.. and he said,
Vinay: I am all urs…. …Koi aur line yaad nahi…
He left from there and after reaching home he drank water from the fridge and sat down. He saw the card for the reunion party of his college & their batch mates. He thought about Supriya and the way she had touched his face, the soft gentle hands... he touched his face feeling the same warmth....and few lines came from his heart… he just wanted to tell it to her, he called her up but the line was busy.. He couldn't wait but tell her..…. He rushed to tell her.. and took his car…As he reached her house, he opened the door randomly without knocking and as soon as he opened the door a flower vase came flying towards him and hit him on his head…
