Part 6
Thank you to everyone that has commented on my Fan fic. It means alot. feel free to leave any suggestions and hopefully i have an idea for my next Rankan adventures.

Recap-The boys and Kanya go partying and Kanya and ranbir get drunk and sleep with eachother.

Kanya woke up with a really bad headache and in a starnge place. She was even more shocked to find that she was nude and had someones arms around her. what was even more shocking was whose arms were around her Ranbir nanda. Kanya was about to scream but she was far to disgusted by her actions and that she had given the one thing she cared about so easily. Her memory was a little hazy and didn't remember anything that happened much other than liking the feel of Ranbir. Kanya remembered feeling jealous, getting drunk and had flashes of what happened between her and ranbir but nothing else but from the looks of the situation she was in she knew in her gut that they both slept together. Kanya didn't know what to do. Should she stay and face either being rejected and humiliated by Ranbir or even be embraced by him. Or should she just run. kanya knew about Ranbir's reputation as the guy was never into relationships but into no strings attached conditions. Kanya quietly got out of bed and made sure that She didn't wake Ranbir up and got dressed and ran out. Kanya went home at 6am and went to her bedroom and cried herself to sleep.

Ranbir had just gotten up at 9am with a throbbing hangover with no memory of the night in a hotel room with no clothes on. He kept on thinking what the hell happened here. My mind feels like its about to blow. He wasn't sure who he was with and how he got to the hotel. All he knew was that there were a string of girls after him like moths to a flame and he was enjoying the attention he was getting. Oh damn Kanya. He was supposed to take her home. She wasn't with him obviously meaning he wasn't with Kanya or was he with her but his mind was a blank. Ranbir went to the bathroom and had a wash and got his driver to ake him home where he got fresh clothes and headed straight for work even with his splitting headache. He hoped he'd see Kanya and make sure she got home ok.

In the office all are present. Ranbir is in his office looking at all his file but having a hard time concentrating. He takes a hangover drink to help him and calls for Kanya. She comes to the office looking out of place and red eyed and totally avoiding Ranbirs eyes.

R-Kanya tum ghar tikse pounch gayete?I mean raat ko obviosly i didn't drop you off ishi liye. Did you enjoy the party I knew woh tumhara first night nightclub mein tha. You were loking.....(Looks at Kanya's bloodshot eyes)Tum tikh to ho?Kisine kuch kaha kya?Are you ok?

K-Ha. Tum se kya?What is it to you. Tum kaam se raho or kaam ki baat karo. Tum mere boss ho dost banne ki koshish amt karo(Thinks to herself he doesn't remember being with me. Oh my i should just act cool What he doesn't know can't hurt me but the fact that i let myself be used was bad. I can't undo what i did. What do i do Everytime I look at him i feel weak. I'll just make him angry and keep my distance)Mere tabiat kuch tik nahin. It's just a migraine ok issi liye main bohut snappy hoon. Sorry par ehsa lagti hain koi chilla kar rahi hain. Aap tik tho ho kuch off ap bhi lag rahe ho. now what did you want me for?

R-I was only just asking don't bite my head off, you know mujhe bhi migraine hain aur sar pata jah raha tha until meine yeh li. Yeh lo kuch aspirin ki tablets aur yeh ek special drink hangover ki miracle cure it's worked for me maybe the magic will work for you.Tum Roh rahe te kya? I know i shouldn't pry but aggar mere office staff ko koi problem hain then i know mujhe 100% nahin milega. Ghar mein kuch problems ya tumhe time off chahiye. You're not contracted to start until next week. Tum to Training ke liye aye ho.

K-Aise baat nahin hain. I can't discuss it if the both people don't remember noth...I mean i will be fine. Aap kya chahte hain?(In an icy tony to which Ranbir just looks at her)

R-No. Tum ja sakhte ho.(What's Kanyas problem i was only asking Aaj kal acchaye keliya zaamana hi nahin raha. Yeh Chipkali ek dum ice queen kaha se bangaye. Yeh ladkiya na really unbelievable.I only wanted to know if she got home fine. Anyway what do i care my job is done koi yeh nahin keh sakta ke mein apni employers ki kaayal nahin rakta.)

Ayaan comes to the office with his finished mock-up file presentation and reads through it while Ranbir give advice when to change tactics and when tobuild up momentum and how the closing deal should be like. They both then have a good chat about last night.

R-Kal raat i haven't the foggiest kya huwa. I just remember getting drunk and having a swarm of women by my side like i did back in America but normally i remember the day after or some parts of it but then again i don't drink as much as i did yesturday. I'm normally sober but you guys seriously had my job cut out.

A-Kanya wasn't pleased with your ways with the ladies she looked like she was going to snap someones head off and can that girl knock the drinks back. You sure are one hell raiser. I think you scared Kanya with your ways with the ladies.

R-I saw you two together what going on?Did you upset her in anyway?

A-Come on Chachu like i would do that. I'm not a heartbreaker and plus she doesn't see me that way at all. If anything i think she's holding on for Love and all that she won't find that with any of us. Plus she asked about you so i think she has a crushon you. Where did you both dissappear off to?

R-Don't ask! I can't quite remember but i'm starting to get glimpses of this girls hands so soft but i can't make the face yet. I think Kanya went home by herself us men can get out of hand and she's not used to all this. For some reason she looks sad and short tempered like me but seemed in a killer mood.

A-I saw you guys leave together in a car Chachu. I called after you and trust me it didn't look innocent you guys looked like you were going to pounce eachother. Are you sure you weren't with Kanya?

R-Don't be daft Ayaan. Kanya is not that type of girl and besides she would have said something or even don't go there I would never go with kanya man. get real.(Truth is Ranbir wasn't sure what to make of this He was happy Kanya wasn't interested in Ayaan but he didn't see Kanya like that he respected her work ethics and cared to the fact that she was healthy and happy as if employers are happy then their work will upto standard.)

A-Malika Dadi is coming and you know your Birthday is in 2 days time she has decided to invite all the rich and the famous and wants to make sure you be there this time unlike last year where you gotstuck with some model in Delhi.

Malika comes to see Kanya and invites her along with a few of her friends and sister Pooja who recently started to work in the Nanda's production house for daily soaps to come to their party. Kanya tried to refuse but didn't have the heart to say No and Pooja wanted to see the Ranbir Nanda in the flesh and see what the deal is on him.

After work Kanya and her friends along with Pooja buy their outfits and jewellery and make sure that it's a special designer which they buy in the sale elegant and very expensive.

Part 7

Recap-The morning after. Kanya is regretting her first time. Ranbir can't remember anything. Kanya buys a new dress for Ranbirs Birrthday party.

Ranbir feels really weird celebrating his birhday in India with his family for the first time in years meaning he has to be on his best behaviour. It was 8pm and all the guests started arriving. Most people that Ranbir had no idea as to who they were. His mom had invited all the rich and famous people he hardly ever saw.

Kanya arrived with her sister Pooja and a few other friends. She was really nervous about facing Ranbir again as she was so rude to him for not remembering their time together as Kanya had now peiced that missing part of the Jigsaw. At the party it was going to be easy keeping her distance with so many people there. They went into the Nanda mansion and saw many faces that were all strange. kanya was scoping her eyes for Ranbir untilshe spotted him. He was busy as usual and again had a flock of girls around him some had their arms around him which made Kanya really angry she thought she would just explode.

Ranbir was enjoying the company of all 12 girls but the novelty soon wore off and he started getting alittle bored with all this attention. The girls were all beauty but shallow so shallow one of the girls no idea what her name was kept on laughing even when he wasn't speaking so fake. Ranbir never had this problem in America as all the girls he went with were either rich or career driven. Ranbir thought he needs to get away but how. They all wanted a dance so he started dancing with each and everyone of them so his mom wouldn't think he felt anything towards them as he knew about her hunt for a bride. Ranbir looked at the hall and saw Kanya there glaring at him Ranbir moved away from the girls and headed towards Kanya until he saw Arth take Kanya to dance. But Ranbir gets to Kanya in a flash.

R-Kanya You are looking very Hot!!! I mean nice!

K-Thanx. I m...How dare you! I bet tum sab ladkiyon ke yehi khethe ho.(Kanya going red knowing full well that if she keeps Ranbir at arms length then she won't get hurt. He's probably going down a whole list of women)

R-I was complimenting you. We are not in an office. Geez some people take things too seriously. You do look beautiful in that dress Miss 2 by 2 but tum ne kucch ka ke aye ho tho becoz you look like you've been wasting away. Jokes apart Seriously looking good Be confident you will have a few heads turning. Now I can't help it if i am a magnet for women i am completely innocent.(Why am i defending myself. After all i am Ranbir Nanda. Whats it to her. if women are talking to me or not But i better leave it she looks like she is in an off mood)

K-What a charmer go back to your crowd and talk to them. You better go mingle with people in your rich club and forget sweet talking the office staff. People will be womdering why you are talking to me and think i'm some gold digger. Bye. Nice talking to you.(Kanya is about to leave when Ranbir grabs her hand)

R-Kanya tum bhi mujhe bohut nicha dikha rahe ho. I have mingled with everyone. I will go speak to who i want and when i want tum se kya. Plus nobody will care if i talk to you or not. Itna special nahin ho plus by the way you should do something about your attitude. Chilla chilla ke baat mat karo mein behra nahin hoon. Its my birthday at least don't try and spoil it. I would have thought you would enjoy a big party like this as a first plus How dare you leave i will tell you when you can gooooo.(Someone pats Ranbir on the shoulder and he turns around.)

R-katrina tum?Yaha?How?When?You were in the U.S.

katrina gives Ranbir a kiss on the lips and hugs him leaving Kanya shocked and reeling with so much anger she would have ripped Katrina head off with her bare hands. how dare she Kiss Ranbir.

R-kat you can't kiss me in front of everyone like that. Its India and we only do this behind close doors. if mom saw us she would get us married.

Kat-Oh come on Ranbir. Its not such a bad idea you know me and you but not for another 5 years. I thought i would surprise you and you do this. I have Tom, Akash with me here too. Isn't it great the whole crew is here. Who is this?(Looking at kanya)

R-Kat,Kanya and Kanya this is Kat.(Looks nervously as both Kanya and Kat say hi to one another.)

Akash comes along and intoduces himself while Kanya tries to find a getaway but Akash asks for a dance with kanya and she accepts looking at Ranbir. ranbir is too busy with Kat to notice anything. So kanya decides to have fun and looks at Ranbir occasionally then dance to the song "Where's the party tonight" and then to "4 Minutes to save the world" by Justin Timberlake and Madonna. That is when alot of the guests start looking at the girl thats dancing with Akash including Ranbir who is bowled over by this new girl. they stop for abit and go for something to drink..

Akash-You're a really good dancer.

K-thanx. So are you. You really made me forget some of my troubles.

Akash-Ranbir. Huh. He has that affect on women. I don't know why. He just likes having fun no strings attached. You probably don't know his past. He doesn't tell nobody nothing only his Mom and a few of his College buddies know.

K-Ranbir is not a problem i don't see him that way. He just drives me mad thats it. I don't get him but then again he's my boss. Thats it.

Akash-I can see it from a mile away. trust me same look but you're different. You could change him. Don't worry about Kat she's flirty with everyone and ranbir doesn't Love her and she knows it. They just like winding each other up and theyhave decided to be just friends. Shame i could have done with a girl like you but even you're taken. Go be with ranbir and stop fighting it or else you will hurt. trust me ranbir likes you alot but for him to realise will take forever unless one of you do something.(Gives Kanya a big hug and a kiss on her hand)

ranbir seeing this gets angry. How dare Kanya yell at him for talking to her yet she is being hugged by Akash and gets a kiss. Women i just don't get them. American ones are better at least i know what i am getting. Why am i getting all worked up for. She is just a middle class worker.

Kanya was on her way to Ranbir when some of the girls that were chatting to Ranbir came over with red wine and splashed it over kanys dress whie the other spilt yoghurt dip. Kanya just froze. Ranbir was getting furious and rushed over to Kanya who was on the verge of tears. Ranbir asks his niece Ira who gets kanya upstairs to get herself sorted out before theres a scene

Ranbir goes outside agrabbing hold of the girls that did that to Kanya and asked them what their problem was and in response all he got was a mix of nothings so who got them barred from the party.

What will happen to Ranbir and kanya. the night is not over yet will Cupid miss its aim in Ranbirs heart or will kanya ever reveal her true feeling.
