Part II

The Flight lands at Paris, passengers have to wait at the airport to take the connecting flight to UK.

Disha: Paris is a beautiful place.

Aakash: Yes, it is

Disha: U know I love travelling, & that's why I took up event management. I like meeting new people & travelling new places.

Aakash: Even I love travelling. I have traveled most of the places.

Disha is taken aback.(in her mind): Why is he lying to me. He was so afraid when he entered the flight. He may be having a fear, phobia of flights. Then why is he lying to me?

Aakash: Oh I had taken flight to Austria, it was so beautiful. Its one place u should visit.

Disha: lagta hai yeh bhi ladki ko dekh , has started flirting.Yeh janaab jhoot pe jhoot boleja rahe hain. Disha tu hamesha to har ladke ko dekh pehchan leti kaisa hoga, isbaar pehchane mey lagta hai galti ho gayee).. she starts getting angry as well as upset.

Aakash : Disha would u like to have coffee.

Disha: (Not looking at his face) No!

Aakash is zapped what happened to her suddenly.

He sits and Disha starts roaming & sits in the corner where he may not be near her.

Disha: Na jane apne aapko kya samajhta hai. He looked so handsome & ya , his cute smile & that wonderfull voices.. aur to kuch hai hi nahi(still thinking about him)Uff kyun uska hi khayaal aa raha hi.

Besides her a group of Africans comes & sit.

Disha: OhGod!! They look so horrifying, let me be safe & sit in some other place.

She gets up & moves ahead, she sees Aakash chatting jovially with a granny .She goes near to hear the conversation.

Aakash: Baa, now u better take rest. & Don't worry I will be guiding u. Main hooon na phir aap kyun pareshan hoti hin. Waise aur kuch chahiye to boliye.

Baa: Beta, accha hua yeh pardesh mey koi help karne ke liye milgaya. Thank u Beta.

Aakash: Baa, Ab yeh thank u mat kahiye, haan agar aap de sakti hain to bas muskurate hue ashirwad dena. Bada selfish hun , woh kya hai main ek award function pe jaa raha hoon, ab aapka ashirwad hoga to jaroor jitunga.(Giving her medicnes.)

Baa looks at Disha whos staring at them..Aakash looks back..

Aakash: Disha come I will introduce u.

Baa: Baa, Yeh Disha Mehta hai, hum college mey sath the, aur dekho aaj itne salo baad is flight pe mile. Disha yeh Pyaari si baa hai, I mean inka naam Sarla Patel hai. She is going to UK to see her grandson.

Disha: Namaste aunty.

Aakash: Baa kaho aur dekho inka chehra kaise khilta hai. Hain na baa.

Baa: Haan beta, India mey bhi mere bachoo ko kehti hoon, but ajkal sab Mom hi bulate hain

Disha: yeh mediceines, kya hua hai.?

Aakash: Woh Baa pehli baar travel kar rahi hai na. So she started feeling uneasy. BP thoda high ho gaya tha. Ab baa ko theek lag raha hai . I will just check out whether the flight is at the right time.

Disha is so glad to see Baa so happy & relaxed, she remembers her Mom..

Disha: Baa, ab theek lag raha hai.

Baa: Haan beta . Disha Mehta…tame gujurati cho(u r gujrati)

Disha: Haan (smiling)

Baa & Disha chat in gujrati …after few minutes Aakash comes.

Aakash: Chalo, flight right time pe hai. ( he can feel how Baa is holding Disha's hands, & she feels so relaxed & happy. Talking abt her grandson..)

They enter the flight …..

Aakashholding Baa's hand) : Aapko acha lagta hai, to aap chahiye to Disha ke sath bethiye.

Baa: Nahi, smiling..tum udhar betho , main bilkul theek hoon. Smiling looking at both of them.

Aakash takes his seat.

Disha is confused…(He is so adorable & caring) Ismey aisi kya baat hai, Roothna bhi mushkil hota hai..(smiles)

Aakash: Disha itna smile kar rahi hai. Pehle to mujhse roothisi lagi. May be Baa ne kuch kaha hoga.

Everyone in the flight r sleeping. Aakash n Disha r trying to look at the movie but its boring.

Disha tries to sleep & tries to take out her seat belt which mistakingly hurts Aakash.

Aakash: Ab marna hi hai, to belt se mat maro. It may not sound convincing agar kisiko batana ho

Disha: (laughing) Sorry..Aakash…and takes the blanket..

Aakash: Sorry bhi kahti ho aur hass bhi rahi ho…(even he takes a blanket.)

Disha: (trying to stop laughing) ..college mey to tumhe yun haste aur hasate nahi dekha kabhi . u have changed so much.

Aakash: Ya, kash I could, Took life too seriously, Mujhe lagta ab nahi mehnat karunga to kabhi. But I guess, life teaches u, enjoy each day kal ho na ho.

Disha: U & ur friends, tum sabse alag the. Who sab to padhaee ke sivay sab karte.

Aakash: Ya, & all were after u . As u were so famous winning all the competitions.

Disha: After me, they were terrified as I was an NCC cadet ….lol

Aakash: yes, Tumhare liye likhe love letters pehle mere pass ate, so that I could check the spelling mistakes …lol

Disha: Really…Remember ur friend Veer, uski to maine kya pitaee ki thi.

Aakash: Poor he, he was just postman the letter was written by saket actually.

Disha: Oh God!! (Shocked) & I bashed that poor guy. Howz he doing?

Aakash: Saket or Veer?

Disha: Veer ofcourse, I know he was ur good friend.

Aakash: he is fine. He still is my best friend.

Both realise while taking they have been wrapping around the same blanket , pulling at each end.

Aakash immediately takes his hand off: I m sorry

Disha: is a bit embarresed at the way she didn't realise & cant understand what to say.

Both realise some fondness they r developing towards each other. It feels as if they want to keep talking.After a long silence.

Disha: Smiles and goes to sleep..

Aakash: Smiles..closes his eyes…Its Disha smiling face which captures all his imagination.

Same happens with Disha.

Both open their eyes, looking at each other with a half hearted smile.

The flight lands at UK airport. Aakash, Disha & Baa stand to check out their luggage.

Baa: Aate waqt laga najane kaise pahunchungi, aur ab kitna acha lag raha hai. Main apne pote ko dekhungi, uske sath khelungi.

Disha: Smiling…yes Baa..

Aakash: Baa Aap bolo main aapk ko drop karun aapke bete ke ghar.

Baa: Beta, chinta mat karo mera beta airport lene araha hai.

Disha: Waise aap ka beta kya karta hai.

Baa: woh Engineer hai, "Hastein Co"mey kaam karta hai.

Disha: Ok, "Hastein Co" ke kai log Africa tour mey ghayal hue the..

Baa: Haan, bhagwaan ki kripa se mera beta us tour mey nahi tha. Magar uske kuch friends accident mey maare gaye..

Disha: Yes, it was terrible . It was so tragic.na Aakash…(looking at him)

Aakash doesnt say a word, a whole silence grips him. Disha feels his face is as tensed as it was when he had entered the flight. Akash without saying anything starts collecting the luggage and heads towards the exist.. Baa waves & goes with her Son & daughter in law. Disha's event organising agency & Akash Company people arrive with their name plates, they receive them and both of them just say a BYE and head into their cars.

Nice chapter. I liked the conversations between Disha and Aakash. I wonder whether he truly does travel or whether he was lying to her. If he was telling the truth, why would he seem so nervous to be on the plane? I'm also wondering about the connection between Hastein Co and Aakash. Why did he become all silent and serious?

One more thing I'm confused about...this section: "Besides her a group of Africans comes & sit.
Disha: OhGod!! They look so horrifying, let me be safe & sit in some other place." This seems like a very ingorant and rude thought to have about anyone. Is Disha racist? If so, I'm not sure I'll like her anymore.

Hi Rabia.. thanks for ur comments... Oh the beginnign whatevr u r thinking that wil be explained later on... hmm must say u r gettign to the point.. lol..

About the ones in bold letters u wrote.. Hey common dont take it as racist, Disha is not racist.. its the scary faces of those people and the way they came and sat next to her.. she realised she canbe in trouble.. and if u know in Paris when it haults and u really need to be careful abt ur luaaggage.. the theifs r look out for that... Its reality!.. thats why I put that point across.. Disha travels across quite often and she knows where what can turn messy... She just tried to safeguard herself .. Also women tend to get the intution of if somethign can be fishy here.. and thats what she felt as those guys came and sat next to her...

About liking .. I hope u always like my charcters... 😉😆 but its indivudals to his/her own... 😃.. chalo ab jyada confuse matt hona... Keep smiling..😃

Hi Monika... AM happy u liked reading this chapter.. ya as the story is ready with me.. will post the next part soon... u wont have to wait for long.. Glad u liked this conversation... there will be anther one.. which will reveal a lot hope u like that... i feel its one of my best scene.. ahahhah... from all the fanfics..😆 atleast to my standards..😳... lage rahungi....jab aap jaisa kadardaan hai to kaise rukungi ... 😉

Part III

Disha: I didn't even take his number. I hope I can meet him. Why was he so tensed? Was that accident the reason,, or did it bring some other bad memory. Oh! I wish I could be besides him now. I feel so guilty, made him upset again. Ya, that reminds me that he may not be lieing to me about travelling then whats all this fear. Ab kya karu? Mera dil aur dimaag sirf ussi ki fikr kar raha hai..uske dil aur dimaag main kya halchal ho rahi hogi….will he be thinking abt me?

Aakash: Thanx , I will manage my luggage myself. He enters the lift of the Hotel. Uska number bhi nahi liya. (starts cursing himself) lo bhugto, kitni baar tujhe kehta hoon , sab bhul aur agey ki zindagi ko gale laga…gale lagana to chod, uska jawaab diye bagair wahan se, Bye keh kar nikal gaya. Darpok!!! …starts getting angry at himself…The lift stops , he takes the luggage out & pushes the card to open the door. Puts the luggage in the corner and throws himself on to the bed and closes his eyes, Disha…missing u .

Disha is busy with her work, checking out the security arrangments , the events listing and the travel arrangments. She checks the documents provided by the technical crews .

Disha: Kash I could meet Aakash before the event. Kaunse Hotel mey thehra hai woh bhi pata nahi.

Couple of days pass, she continue to do the last minute document checking & scheduling the event

Disha to an Artist: U think I am gona do all rescheduling for u?

I think u need to talk to the bosses & clear out with them. Let them inform me directly.

(Voice)Any help required Mam!!!……….. Disha looked back & saw Aakash standing…

Disha: What a pleasant surprise. I wanted to meet u but I didn't have the number..

Aakash: Ya, but I knew u willl be there at the Event venue. So here I am. Kahin maine kaam mey tumhe disturb to nahi kiya…

Disha: Not at all. Bass ek minute may yeh documents deke ati hoon.ok

Aakash: No problem, take ur time.

Disha is busy looking out for her friend to hand over the documents, woh idhar udhar logo ko kaam samjha rahi thi aur idhar akash use dekh mann hi mann soch raha,

Aakash: She has the sparkle to lighten any place.

Disha beech beech mey uski oar dekh muskurati , yeh kya soch raha hai mujhe dekh. She starts blushing for no reason. Disha completes her work , brings Coffee mugs along. Both have coffee sip and move towards the bench which is facing the mountains & the whole golf view.

Aakash: Ur work will complete only after the events gets over right!! So u will be busy ..

Disha: Alls planned, at foreign venues no last minutes changes take place, but u need to be prepared. My work is more document & listing related. That's almost complete.

Aakash: Ok,

Disha: U seemed quite tensed on that day. I m sorry if anything I said hurt u. Didn't see ur smile when we said Bye!

Aakash: No, u don't be sorry, it was going wrong all within me something. I should be sorry for not even saying a GOOD Bye…was just upset. so…hope u didn't mind.

Disha: What happened suddenly, If u don't wish to share, it's ok. I asked just as a concerned friend.

Aakash: May be I wouldn't have shared with anyone else but with u, I feel can pour my heart out.

I was very nervous & scared when I entered this flight..

Disha: I did observe u were nervous & sweating.. (Concerned look on her face)

Aakash: feeling a bit shaken, that she did notice. U were talking about that flight accident with Baa on that day.

Disha: Ya, Did u too board that flight?

Aakash: Yes, I was not only boarding but I was the Co-pilot of that ill fated flight.

Disha: (Completely Shocked….) can't believe, Oh god!! ..Aakash…….

Aakash: (looking at the mountians and the sky)…haan Aakash, aor hasrat bhi bachpan se thi ussi aakash ko chune ki…

Disha: (Feeling the amount of pain & wounds which can be felt looking at his eyes)

Aakash: I was so studious & the only thing I wanted in life was to become a pilot. Gave everything to it. Didn't involve in any other activity…u were asking me na ,.why in college I never interacted , as My ambition, my dream , my goal, & my only focus in life..was to become a Pilot.

Disha: (noticing his choked voice) Aakash, tum bhach gaye yehi bahut badi baat hai. Niraash mat ho. After the accident u feared entering flights…(shecant help her self from asking..)

Aakash: When I hear the sound, it brings back my shattered dreams, the accident scenes, the voice which kills me within..In that flight the main Pilot was Mr. Benerjee, he was my idol. He gave me the golden medal he had got as his blessing when I became a pilot. I carry it in my pocket every time. In that ill-fated flight he died. I was injured with my spinal back been damaged & not been eligible to fly a plane in my life again according to their rules.

A Sharp breeze blows which carries with it a silence moving around…..

Disha (she is at loss of words): Aakash, kya kahun,……(long pause) Tumhara naam Aakash hai, which also means the sky is the limit, u have whole new place, new horizon to make a mark, am sure which u will. (a smile)

Akash never had thought about his name like this, he always imaged Aakash with sky & flying the aircraft. She had given him a new dimension with his name.

Aakash: Disha, u have been such a wonderful friend, cant belive it's been only a week we met. Thanx for making me feel better. Surely I will try & make the most of what I have. U know that's why now I try & enjoy life with each new day, a single moment can change ur destiny …

Disha: That's true, ..(as if she is lost in her own life matters)

Aakash: Kya hua, udaasi kyun cha gayee… any problem.

Disha: No..

Aakash: U can share ur part of sorrows as well, if u think it can help u.

Disha: (Still thinking..)

Aakash: I had heard u got engaged to Saket , phir kya hua?? (his heart was beating faster to know her answer)

Disha: u knew, I was engaged…..(_Expression as if , she was thinking about it only..)

Aakash: (looking here & there, so that she didn't catch his eyes which were anxious & sad.)

Disha: (serious looks) His family came home, he wanted to marry me from long, I never bothered. My family was convinced he was a good match for me. So we got engaged. I got to know he was such an obsessed lover. Faced hell with him, he was never sensitive towards me or any1 else. So broke off my engagement with him. Needed to be away from family pressures so went on to travel from one place to another. Kaam to bahana tha, wanted to run away, Mere naam ke hisaab se, meri koi Disha hi nahi thi..

Aakash : (with a sigh of relief that she is still single.) Shayad Disha to sahi thi, safar lamba aur mushkil tha.

Both looked at each other with a sense of finding each other finally..

Disha: Tumhe koi pasand nahi ayi intne saalo mey?..(she was at ease thinking there may not any1)..

Aakash: I was engaged when I got my job, it was an arranged affair,but after my accident & me loosing my job they called it off…(taking the sip of coffee)

Disha: (she felt like hugging him &holding him close) Ur whole life changed by one incident.

Aakash: Yes, I life with a fresh outlook all becoz of Veer. I tried marketing, got into advertiing & became its Creative advisor, after traveling by flight which I didn't after the accident , I feel I can get over with my past finally!! Smiling

Disha: I can understand how much this award means to u. Ishwar kare u get ur much deserved award, it will make ur name shine in the whole Adworld .(smile)

Aakash: Its important but its not The important, mere liye uspe bhi badkar ab kuch aur ishwar se mangne ke liye hai….(smiling…and its intense eyes..looking at Disha, who understands what he meant…& is blushing)…both looking at the golfside view.

The sun was setting, they exchange their mobile numbers. Disha went to her work back and Aakash to the Hotel…they were in love and they knew they have found the special friend they were missing in their lifes.
