Pooja: Kanya!! hurry up...itne time kyon le rahi ho?
K: Oh di...pehle to mujhe force kiya tumhari saath party mein aane ke liye aab mujhe hi daat rahi ho??
P: Aye. i am doing this for your own good.
K: Yea yea....
P: Kanya I am serious. Woha Aayan hoga. He seems quite taken with you.
K: Di woh Aayan Nanda hai. uske har taraf sirf ladkiyan hi nazar aati hai. Paise wala ladkiyan di. Mujhe is chakkar mein nahi padna hai.
P: Main tujhe thori hi keh raha hoon usse abhi shaadi karle. Mujhe maloom hai how you are waiting for you prince. This could be it Kanya. This is your chance.
K: Haan haan kyon nahi hoga. Masqurade ball jo hai. Saari ladkiyan mask ke niche aapni Prince hi dhoondenge. Pata nahi kyon. Chehre ke bina Prince ka kya faida? Oh well I am ready!
P: [ shocked how pretty she looked. She is wearing a princess type of dress. It's baby blue. Kind of like this one except a little lighter. http://www.promdress4u.com/shop/item_images/7079F.jpg ]
K: please dont cry naa. Ek kaam karo. Mujhe mera mask abhi dedo. Mom ne mujhe dekh liya to woh bhi royenge.
P: [hands her the mask] ok lets go.

Aayan : Chachu..How do I look?
R: Does it matter? My business partners are not interested in your looks.
A: I am not interested in them either. Aap haar jyaga business ke deal hi kyon karte hain? Just think chachu.. So many beautiful girls in one place.
R: yea listen . I am warning you. They better not interfere with my business. Yeh deal hamari liye bohut hi maine rakti hai.
A: Ok I will make sure no girl...I mean NO girl comes your way.

In the party

P: Kanya look there is Aayan.
K: woh toh dekhi raha hoon. Uske aas paas atleast panra ladkiyan hai.
P: so what? go and talk to him. [she hesitates then pulls her ] let's go.
Aayan sees Kanya. He kind of forgets about the other girls and steps toward her.
A: hi..[takes her hand and kisses it]
K: hi.
A: You are late Kanya.
K: So you do know who I am. Maine socha tha iss mask ke pichese mujhe koi bhi nahi pehchanega.
A: Haha let's dance. Tum itne khoobsurat ho main kaise nahi pehchanta?
K: sure.
A: I didn't think you would come.
K: Kaise nahi aati? Di ne force kiya.
A: smart di. Thank god chachu ne usse hire kiya.
K: Hah! My di hates your chachu.
A: Who do you hate?
K: no one.
A: who do you like?
K: umm..no one
A: really?...you know...[the song they were dancing to ends]
K: I have to make a call
A: abhi?
K: yea..It's urgent.
She starts walking away really quickly.
K: My god that dance lasted forever. They need to make these songs shorter.😔

She takes the stairs and goes to this little balcony place , it's surrounded by light sheer curtains. It's a little dark. But she can see the dance floor from there. She sits on a bench.

K: finally sab se choot kara mil gaya! Oh god my feet are killing me. [she tries to take her sandals off but she can't untie the strings] Aise kabhi Prince milta hai kya?
R: Are you talking to yourself?
She looks up and there is tall guy standing a few feet away. Obviously she cant see his face as it's a little dark and he is wearing a mask too. But she can tell he has broad shoulders, muscular and probably really handsome.
K: well...woh main...I am sorry. [says to herself: why i am sorry??😕]
R: It's ok. Just stay there and pretend ki tum yaha nahi ho.
K: oh ok. [ says to herself: kitne ajeeb hai. Ek akela ladki hoon aur woh mujhse door jah raha hain]

[ 5-6 mins later. Ranbir is looking at the dance floor and wondering why his business partners are not here yet. Kanya is still trying to take her sandals off]

R: Bohut mushkil hai?
K: woh kya hai..bohut andhera hai aur..the strings are a little complicated.
he comes close to Kanya and bends down on his kness. He takes out his lighter.
R: hold this. [hands her the lighter]
Kanya lights the lighter and holds it as Ranbir slowly unties the strings of her sandals. He takes them off and puts them aside.
R: ok done.[he looks up and........for the first time in life his time stops, the world around him stops spinning]

They are both mesmerized in each others eyes. He is still on his knees.

He slowly stands up and holding her hands. She stands up with him but steps on her sandals. She would trip but Ranbir puts his arm around her waist. they are still lost in each other.
