-Kanya and Pooja come to Ira's bday party.
-Kanya ends up in the outside with Ranbir because of his dog.
-Ranbir kisses Kanya
-Ranbir ends up carrying her home.
-Kanya realizes Ranbir is the guy she danced with.

Part 4

R: hi mom.
M: Tum abh tak kaha the?
Ira: Haan chachu. you didn't even come to my party.
BD: Puttar yeh kaun hai? [looking at Kanya]
M: And why are you carrying her?
R: [whisper to Kanya] so many questions at once?? which one do I answer 1st? [looks to Malika] Main thora busy tha mom. That should answer your question to Ira. big D mujhe maloom nahi hai yeh kaun hai, maine iska naam abhi taak nahi poocha. Don't worry yeh mera honewali biwi nahi hain. And mom, bechari ko paa mein chot pauchi hain. I am helping her. Whew!!! I think I have answered everybody. Aur kisiko koi sawal pooch na hai??
K: Put me down
R: [confused] what?
K: put me down. Now
R: [whispers so no one can hear him } kyon??
K: Just put me down. Now
R: [ he puts her down on a sofa, and goes to talk to Malika}
P: are you okay?
K: I am fine. Di let's go from here please!
P: Wait, main cab bulati hoon.
Ay: I can drop you off.
K: Nahi uski koi zaroorat nahi hain.
Ay: Kanya, stop it. Main tumhe ghar chodna chahti hoon. tha't it.
K: Ok fine.
Pooja helps Kanya walk. As she is stepping out of the house, she looks back to see ranbir. He does not even notice she is leaving. He is talking to his mom while Rema is holding on to his arm.

Later on is Kanya's bedroom

Kanya is resting, Pooja comes in with two cups of coffee.
P: Here you go
K: Thanks di.
P: Tu thik to hain na?
K: Haan di, ofcourse. Why?
P: I don't know. But something is wrong I can tell.
K: Nothing is wrong. Di ek baat poochoo?
P: Ofcourse.
K: Can you fall in love with someone twice? Aap ko kisi se do baar pyar ho sakta hai?
P: [confused] Kanya....? tujhe pyaar ho gaya hai?
K: [doesn't say anything]
P: Kanya tell me.
K: [starts crying and nodds her head]
P: to tu ro kyon rahi hai?
K: [shakes her head and doesn't say anything, Pooja will have a fit if she learned she was in love with her stupid engaged boss] Please di, don't ask me anythng.
P: [wanted to push the matter farther but she didn't want to upset Kanya] Accha chor. Guess what? I have good news. I got you a job.
K: Really? [wipes her tears off] where?
P: let me tell you the whole story. today at the party I heard Malikaji complain how she has been looking for a interior designer for her shimla house. So I told her about you and voila.
K: Di you got me a job with Malika Nanda??
P: yeah!! isn't that great?
K: Di main woh job nahi kar sakti.
P: Kanya why not? tum ek fabulous interior designer ho. And working for the Nanda's will be great for your reputation. Beside main unhe vaada kar chuka hoon.
K: Promise karne se pehle mujhe pooch lena chahiye tha na?
P: Kanya....[holds her hand]
K: [she hesitates then says] Can I have till tomorrow morning to think about it?
P: Thank you [hugs her and leaves]
K: Maybe if I go to Shimla it would be good for me. I will have time to forget Ranbir. Beside Shimla is beautiful and I have never been there.

She decides to say yes to Pooja tomorrow. After she falls asleep, she has a dream about the masquarade ball dancing with Ranbir. She wakes up and throws a pillow across the room.
K: Pichle char mehno se yeh sapna dekhrahi hoon...Uska chehra dekhne ki intezaar mein ek paal bhi chain mein nahi thi main. Aur aaj jo chehra dekha.....to saare chain hi gayab ho gayi..

She lies down with her face on the pillow to sleep. She remembers the 1st time she met him. She sees him kneeling down. Then taking her sandals off. She starts crying. She has never felt so empty before.

She remembers when they had the eyelock while she was holding the lighter. And when he wrapped his arms around her waist because she was going to fall. And pulled her closer

She remembers when dancing with him

She remember him picking her up after she fell and hurt her ankle.
