Part 2

Ranbir slowly moves his arm from her waist.. She steps on her sandals again about to trip. Ranbir grabs her right away. He smiles and lets out a soft laugh, as this is the 2nd time she has stepped on her sandal about to trip. He puts both of his arms around her waist, lifts her off the ground just a bit and slowly swings her to the other side. [away from the sandals]

K: S..sor..rry..[low voice]
R: [tilts his head slightly and smiles] it's...ok.
That smile took Kanya's breath away. She wonders if she is still breathing. Has she ever seen a more beautiful smile? Can a guy's smile be called beautiful? Because this was definetly beautiful. Much more better than beautiful.
R: Kuch soch rahi ho?
K: huh?? woh! Nahi umm my favorite song is playing.
R: Then you should go dance.
K: yeah, I should.
R: [removes his hands from her waist. Let's her go]
K: main Jaaoon?
R: [steps aside] Go.

K: [her heart jumped at his voice. She can't stop wondering why is he having such a strong effect on her]

K: [uhh she thought he was going to ask her to stay.😲 She goes over to the bench and tries to put on her sandals which is difficult]
Ranbir sees this and walks over to her. He bends down on his knees again to help her. Their faces are really close to each other.
R: What's the rush? [whispers]
K: Kyon? tumse kya?
R: Maat jao naa. Tumhe dance karna hai? let's dance. [he stands up and offers his hand]
K: [😳She takes it and stands. His touch sent a shiver through her body]
Ranbir wraps his arm around her. And they start dancing. They dance to 4 different songs. Totally unaware of the time.
R: Ek baat poochoo?
K: Pucho.
R: Tum upar kyon aayi ho?
K: niche bohut saare log the..
R: woh really? mujhe to dekhai nahi deta hain. [laugh as he sees she was getting mad.] Yeh part hain, crowds are obvious. Agar tumhe crowd pasand nahi hai then why are you here?
K: [thinks what should she tell him...] Aapni Prince ko dhoond ne
R: really? To mila tumhe? Aapni Rajkumar?
K: Shaayed.
R: Bohut handsome hai?
K: Pata nahin. Aab main tumhe ek baat poochoo?
R: Pucho
K: Tum upar kya kar rahi ho?
R: [remembers his business deal] OHH shit!! Aaaah!! [looks at his watch] Mujhe jaana hoga..abhi.!
K: [looks confused] Now?
R: Right now. I am so screwed. I will be back later..Bye. [he turns to leave then turns again and gives her a soft kiss on the cheek and runs off]
Kanya is in a state of mixed emotions. How can he be so amazing and leave like that? she plans to wait for him and when he comes she will yell at him. What does he think of himself.

An hour passes and he is still not back. Kanya's phone rings. It's Pooja.
P: Kanya, tum kaha ho?
K: Di, main Upar.
P: what are you doing there? Main aah raha hoon. Ruko waha.
[after Pooja arrives]
P: Kanya tum yaha kyon baithi ho? why are your shoes off? we have to go.
K: Di main nahi aah sakti.
P: What? why?
K: Main kisika intezaar kar rahi hoon.
P: Kiska?
K: [opens her mouth but realizes she never asked him his name] Pata nahin.
P: Yeh kaisa baat hain? Thik hai chalo use dhund te hai.
K: Maine uska naam nahi pucha. Aur Main usse yaha kaise dhundu. Maine uska chehra bhi thik tara se nahi dekha.
P: Kanya! what is this? we dont have time for such games.
K: Di, woh kabhi bhi aah sakta hai.
P: Kanya, tum kabh se yaha ho. Woh nahi aayega. Maybe he is with his another girlfriend. Tumhe yaha akela dekha to tumpe line mara. yaha ke ladke aise hi hote hain. Jee karta sabko goli se ura doo. Aab chalo.
K: Kanya gets really upset. She tries to put her sandals on and has a hard time because of her anklet. So she takes it off and puts it on the bench. She finishes putting her sandals on.
K: Di please thori der aur wait kare. Please!!!
P: Kanya!!
K: Di pleeeeaseee, just a little bit more. Iske baad I will listen to whatever you say.
P: Kanya!..uhh ok fine.
the wait one more hour.
P: Aaab chale?
K: 2 more minutes. {whispers]
2 mins pass
K: [she stands up, wipes her tears off and starts walking, Pooja follows her and they leave the party. She has never felt more complete before tis night but now she has never felt more empty.💔]
