Part 4:
the next day, everyone woke up late. They were all tired from the engagement yesterday night. The Khanna family was going to arrive at the Sharma Mansion at 6:00 in the evening for the sangeet ceremony. Kripa was desperately trying to figure out a way to talk to Angad. She wanted to know if there was someone he loved because she didn't want to separate him from his love. On the other hand, Angad wanted to talk to Kripa for the same reason but neither's parents allowed them. Come to the worst, they even took away Angad-Kripa's cell phones so that they did not have a chance to call each other or anyone else. Kripa was sent to the beauty parlour with her mother, and other ladies from her extended family. She was back just in time before the khanna's arrived.
While she was walking into her house, Angad was walking out. She didn't see him and bumped into him nearly falling but of course Angad was there to the rescue. Kripa laid there in his arms with her eyes closed while Angad stared at her without blinking. She opened her eyes to see that she didn't hit the floor. Now that her eyes were open, both felt uncomfortable in the position and quickly stood up.
Kripa: sorry about that...i didn't see you coming....thanks for catching me before i fell.😊
Angad: It's alright. I was actually lost in my thoughts...anyways..shall we walk in?
Kripa nodded and walked in. Angad followed her into the house. Everyone circled Kripa and complimented on how beautiful she looked. Soon everyone started singing and dancing around. Josh came into the centre of the room and started singing 'mere yaar Ki shaadi hai'

Josh sang a couple more songs while Angad and Kripa played hide and seek with him as he was trying to get the soon-to-be-married couple to dance.
Next Day:
It was the day of the mehendi ceremony. kripa and Angad's wedding was exactly one day away. In the evening again, Everyone gathered, Kripa was brought down in a cream white saari, not a lehenga this time. She was seated in the centre of the room where two ladies on either side of her started drawing with cheer. Kripa sat there looking nervous. After her mehendi design was done, Gayatri called Angad. Angad walked over to kripa and kneeled in front of her as told by Gayatri.
Gayatri: Angad...ab Kripa ke haatho ki mehendi mein tumhe tumhara naam dundhna hai...first her right hand.
Josh: oh wow...that is hard...Angad...you ready?
Angad: i guess..😕
Gayatri: apna haath aage karo angad.
Angad did as he was told. Gayatri placed Kripa's hand in his and asked him to point out his name. Angad quickly scanned her hand, and looked at it sharply...in less than a minute he found his name on the top of her palm near her ring finger.
Gayatri: are wah!! chalo koi baat nahi...iss baar to tumne bahut aasani se mil gaya lekin abhi dusra haath baaki hai...ismein tumhe tumhara aur Kripa ka...dono ka naam dhundhna hai..
Angad: okay..
Gayatri placed Kripa's other hand in his hand. Angad again scanned her hand quickly then sharply. This time he found Kripa's name before his and pointed it out. Kripa kept silent and observed all this with a slight smile on her face. angad could not find his name right away like he did the first time. But suddenly he realized his name was connected to Kripa's. It wasnt just 'Kripa' It was 'Kripangad'.
Angad: Mil gaya...mera naam Kripa ke naam se juda hai..
Angad realized what he just said and looked at Kripa..who looked at him with a surprised expression.
Gayatri(teasing): Acha...abhi meri beti se apna naam jod liya?...us din to dono shaadi karne se mana kar rahe the??😆
Angad's cheeks went red from the embarrassment.
After the ceremony, all the guests retired to their respective destinations. The Khanna family was staying for a bit longer. Angad was in Josh's room freshening up when josh walked in.
Josh: how are you feeling dude? you are exactly 20 hours away from being married.
Angad: yo man...i am DEAD scared....
Josh: why? i told you before..my sister doesnt bite...
Angad: does she love you josh?
Josh: of course she does...what kind of question is that?😕
Angad: well..she doesnt bite you because she loves you...she would probably kill me if she found me alone...she hates me man..
Josh: no she doesnt! who told you that?😕
Angad: um josh...i am the guy who is being forced into her life...obviously she is going to hate me..🤔
Josh: well...she doesnt hate you...infact she thinks you hate her..
Angad: what?!!😲
Josh: yea....ok know what? I'll bring her here secretly...both of you can talk all you want.
Before angad could stop josh, josh had left the room. Josh found kripa in her room. She was still in her sari and jewlery. Josh knocked on the door.
Kripa: bhai...you dont have to be so formal..come in..
Josh: How come you didn't change yet...
Kripa: mamma said there is another puja and i dont change until its done.
Josh: ok get up
Kripa: what?😕
Josh: get up
Kripa got up. Josh held her arm and slowly walked out of the room, he walked along the wall so nobody saw them going into Josh's room.
Kripa(whispering): bhai..kahan le jaa rahe ho?
Josh walked in and Angad turned around. Kripa looked terrified.
Kripa: bhai...you could have told me that...he....was here...🤔
Angad: see josh...i told you!
Josh: OKAY cut it out both of you.😡 Kirpa!! Angad thinks you hate him! and Angad....Kripa thinks you hate her...
Kripa and Angad(at the same time to each other): I dont hate you.
Angad: actually kripa...i've been wanting to talk to you...i wanted to say that tomorrow...
Angad was interrupted by Gayatri. Gayatri was calling for Kripa.
Kripa: aa..a..ayi mamma!!
Kripa looked at Angad and ran out of the room before her mother caught her with him.
Angad: thanks josh. I am happy that she doesnt hate me.
Josh: you are always welcome....by the way...dont think my sister will run away from you like this everyday. I can give you my word for it...you and Kripa will fall in love with each other very very soon...😉😆
Angad:😳 kyun? hamare chehre pe likha hai kya?😕
Josh: nahi...but i have a feeling that you will...i mean...you both are so similar...you will be living in the same room from tomorrow....you will get so close to each other...
Angad: josh stop it...you know very well the only reason why i am marrying your sister is because mom wants me to...im sorry if it sounds harsh but after marriage....i doubt we will get anywhere with this relationship.....i might not be able to give your sister all the happiness she expects from me.
Angad started walking out of the room when he noticed Kripa at the door. Angad looked at her with a guilty feeling as she had heard his last couple of sentences. Kripa ran back to her room and closed her door. She started jumping around in her room.
Kripa: 🥳yes! thank you so much god!! the way he looked at me through these ceremonies....it seems like he likes me physically.....i thought he was a dirty minded person who always thinks about sex....but thank god....i dont have to worry about him touching me all the time.
Kripa's smile disappeared when her eyes fell on the wall clock. It was 12:05. That was it. She was supposed to be getting married today. Getting married to a man she does not know. All she knows about him is that his name is Angad Khanna, Studies with josh, and looks extremely hot. She forcedly put herself to sleep to escape from the saddening thoughts of her being married.
