he was getting to raj's nerves...

he gave a curt reply...

the commisioner was offended...

raj replied sarcastically....

"follow me...."

he took him to a large chamber...
which had a concealed room...

in which sat naina...

she was being questioned...
rather brutally...

her hair were open...
flying everywhere...& she was being forced to answer...

a sudden fury rose in him....

"kya ho raha hai yeh sab??
have you...have you been torturing her??"
his eyes widened...too stunned to react..
"speak up dammit!"

"calm down captain...
aur meri baat suniye...
it's fairly obvious to me that you feel a lot
for this woman....par jab aapko iski sachaai ke
baare mein pata chalega...you'll probably
hate yourself for being associated with her...

by the way..
although you can hear her..see her...
neither is possible ...as far as she is concerned...."

raj obviously didn't believe dat
he could ever hate naina..

their relationship was far more stronger & trustworthy
dan dat....
atleast dat's wat he thought!!

"dekhiye...SIR...i'm not interested in
knowing wat she's done...
aap mujhe pehle yeh bataaiye...
did you have an arrest
warrant wen you got her here?"

"captain..we're professionals out here...

he knew dat meant a 'yes'...

just see wat's goin on inside....

raj could do nothing but hopelessly
watch the proceedings...

hating himself for it...but he had no option...

inside.....

"chal..bahut nautanki ho gayi teri...

she replied..alert....

the inspector smiled....

she stood by her lie....

the man suddenly raised his hand...
as if about to hit her...

naina immediately closed her eyes.,..
expecting the thrashing....

raj clenched his teeth..
his fists clutched....

he moved a step ahead to stop wat was goin on....
but the commissioner held him back..
tightly holding his arm....

the inspector inside..
brought his hand real close to her..
but instead of slapping..

carefully removed the tendrils of her face...
while slighty touching her cheek...

disgusted by the contact...
she opened her eyes...& moved back..

slapping the man's hands away....
in revulsion....

raj was cursing himself...
he should stop this shit...
she's uncomfortable....

the inspector offended...
clutched her hair....

"enough!!..you can't do this to her!"
raj gave a steeled look of contempt
to the commissioner...

"we can captain...
he's not hitting her..
this is just 'regular'questioning....
& please remember we have the warrant....."

he pulled her hair tightly &
she groaned a bit...

"abhi main tujhe maar nahi raha hoon...
par ek baat sun le....
main rules follow karne waalon mein se nahi hoon..
tujh jaisi ladkiyon ko main acchi tarah jaanta hoon..
paiso ke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hai na tu???"

he held her wrist tightly...
& twisted it....

before i slap you inspector!!"
she shouted....
offended by his rough handling...

"kya??!!..kya boli...
mujhe maaregi...?

as of now her hands weren't cuffed....
but now..boiling in rage..
the ego of the inspector got better off him...

he held her arms tightly...
brought them behind the chair...

twisted them till she screamed ...
& finally hand-cuffed her...

grasping hold of her chin...
he lifted her face...

"kabir ko kaise jaanti hain??"

"kaun kabir??"

"aakhri baar pooch raha hoon...
kabir ke baare mein kya jaanti hai?"

"kaise jaanti hoon..yaan
kya jaanti hoon..
question to decide karlo inspector...."
she added..sweetly...

raj smirked outside..

wits...he admired her for her wits..
watever be the situation...

the inspector glared at her...
his hands itching to hit her hard across her face....

"bahut ho gaya..
ab agar tune mujhe nahi bataaya..
to main tere woh hashar karoonga..
dat u'll remember throughout your life...."

"maine jo bolna tha..bol diya...
main kisi kabir ko nahi jaanti...
who d hell is he??"

the inspector smiled....
"aah..jaankaari ke liye bata doon..
woh don ka beta hai..
jo filhaal jail mein..."

"jail mein hai na..
phir problem kya hai?...aur kaun don?"
it felt as if this time..
she was interrogating him...

"problem yeh hai...
ki tujhe ...
uske kaam ke baare mein sab pata hai..
aur woh information humaari don..
jo ki mafia head karta hai dubai mein...
aur jo delhi drug scam..
aur kashmir terrorism mein involved hai
...ko pakadne mein madad kar sakta hai...

"dimaag ki daat deti hoon..inspector...

maan lijiye main wahi hoon..
jo aap mujhe banaana chaahte hai..

while she said all this..the various attacks
on her came to his mind...

but something that happened removed those thoughts...
& angered him beyond control....

infuriated...the inspector slapped her hard across her
face...causing a light scar on her neck....
& blood oozed out of it...

"nahi jaanti tu kabir ko...
yeh kya hai phir??"

he threw lots of pictures on her face....

raj had snapped away the comissioner's arm..
flashing him a disgusted look...

& had run towards the door to the interrogation room...
knocking him hard....

"enough!!..open the door...
nahi to main darwaaza tod doonga!"

shit!!...raj!
naina panicked....
agar..agar usne .. yeh saari photos....

but it was too late...
raj broke the door open....

& wat he saw..left him dazed....

splattered all over the table...
& on the floor...were pictures...
lots of them....

pics of kabir...the don's son..a handsome man..
& naina...his nia...hugging each other...

dancing with each other in awkward positions..

she was sitting in his lap...

he kneeled down.....
picked up the photos...

"raj..believe me..i've no clue yeh sab
kya hai..."
she hoped he'd trust him...

she was in his arms....

he was touching her....

his hands meshed through her hair....

she looked lost in ecstacy...
as if enjoying everything.....

raj gulped....
main kis par yakeen karoon...???

he found himself at cross roads in life....

"don't touch her inspector...
maine iski bail karwa di hai...
the lawyer will be here any second...."

& so he came...the lawyer...
& got her out....
the proceedings didn't take much time....

"captain...inse bach kar rahiyega...
if she does turn out to be kabir's 'mistress'
then you could be in trouble too!"
the commissioner warned raj in front of naina..

naina looked at the hard..cold expression on his face...
no doubt he'd got her out....

but she could see...
there were questions running through his mind....
& today there was no escaping the answeres....

once outside he sighed...
ran a hand through his hair...

"relax naina...yeh photos forged hai na...?"

"pooch rahe ho..yaan bata rahe ho?"

"don't look so hurt nia..
i was shocked for a minute....
i believe you completely par...par tum in sab
baaton mein phas kaise gayi??"

"raj.....woh photos....forged nahi hai...
they're...they're real"

for a second his world stopped....

"u...u..mean ki tum..."

"haan...hoon main kabir ki mistress..
rather ..thi..."
she was blunt....

he stood there..
watching her...
trying to comprehend her expression....

hoping she'd say it was a joke...
but she didn't....

a realization struck him...

"alright ms naina singh ahluwalia...
who the hell are you???

not a reporter for sure!!!"

"you're right..i'm not....
