part 20:
naina's parents were overwhelmed with happiness when their son's lost honour was
returned.They insisted that naina should take some rest and that they would take care of Rajveer but she was adamant that she would stay with him all the time in the hospital.
Even shalini scolded her sometimes that she should take proper care of herself too but when she saw the love in naina's eyes for Raj ,she knew that she could not help but allow naina to stay with him.
The rest of their friends also visited him daily.A week has been passed and Raj was
recovering soon.naina went to home to bring food for him and when she brought it, she
found that Raj was sleeping.
she sat on the chair beside his bed and run her fingers on his forehead gently. He stirred
in his sleep slightly and she took hold of his hand in hers and fell asleep soon half leaning
on the bed.
Raj woke up after an hour and saw naina beside him sleeping peacefully. Her face was tired and he knew that she was not taking proper meals and rest.He removed the strands of hair on her face gently trying not to wake up her but she woke up and smiled at him.
she arranged the dinner for him. Raj made a face seeing the soup."Naina please! I am sick
of this.Atleast for today, I don't want this"
"Raj ! It's good for your health.If you get well soon, then we can go to home"
"I am fine now. I asked the doctor to discharge me quickly but he said that i should
stay for two more days. I am sick of staying in this hospital. I want to go home"
naina tried to feed him the soup but raj refused to take it. naina sighed. He was acting like a baby.But she must admit that it was cute.
"Raj!I promise that if you take this soup now,I will talk to the doctor and we will go home tommorow itself."
This time he obeyed her and drank the soup making weird faces.she smiled at him and wiped his lips with the towel and was about to leave when he took hold of her hand.
" where are you going ?"he asked her."I am going to get your medicines" she said.
"naina! listen to me. you are not taking proper care of yourself.you need not stay
here.Go to home and sleep properly.you need some rest" he said in a strict tone.
"I am not going anywhere leaving you."she said being equally stubborn.
"Then, I am not going to have medicines" he declared looking at her.
"Raj! Don't be stubborn. Take your medicines"
"No, you are stubborn"
"No, you are"
"No, you"
"It's you"
"This is blackmail" she said finally with a resigned tone.
"Think whatever you want. But you are going to home ,that's it" he said with mock anger.
"Fine. you win.I am going to home. Atleast now, have the medicines."He took them
silently.she was about to leave, when he took hold of her hand and pulled her near him.
she sat on the bed near him not looking into his eyes, her head down."Are you angry on me?"he asked gently lifting her chin.
she shook her head and refused to look up."I want you to be fine naina.If that means making you angry, I would even do that . I love you "he said hugging her to him kissing her forehead.
"I don't want to leave you. I want to stay here" she said with a teary voice melting his
heart.
"I will be with you always naina ! Tommorow I will be back at our home. please listen to me this time and give me a big smile"
she shook his head and he tickled her until she laughed asking him to stop.
"Alright! I am leaving now. But once you are fine, I will definitely take my revenge for
this" she said.
"I will be waiting for that" he smiled at her in such a way that melted her, this time.
she hugged him once more wishing him goodnight and left the room.
Next day, naina convinced the doctor that she would take proper care of Raj and Raj was
finally discharged and back at home. He was completely fine within a week.
naina entered the bedroom when she felt Raj close her eyes placing something in her hand.she removed them and she saw the thing he placed in her hands with pleasant surprise.
"Raj! when are we leaving?" she asked excitement evident in her voice."Tommorow
evening" he said happy that she liked the surprise.
she went past him and started doing something.He stared at her in disbelief."what are you
doing? I did not atleast got a hug for my surprise"
"we will see that afterwards.I must finish the packing soon" she said smiling.
"I will get you for this." he said.
"I will be waiting" she said in a mischievous tone.
Next day,they went to the airport and naina was asleep most of the time.Raj did not disturb her, allowing her to sleep.He watched her affectionately throughout the journey and finally they landed in Goa.
