Lunch:

Sonia and Preeti are walking to the canteen…

S: hey Preeti…what was that guys name, that we crashed into this morning?

P: umm…Dev…Khanna….y?

S: because he seems to be a ladies man haha

P: what?

S: (points) look over here…

Preeti looks at where Sonia is pointing and sees girls around a table. Preeti walks over to the table and is shocked but yet not surprised to see Dev trying to eat his lunch in peace.

Dev looks up and sees the girl he bumped into this morning…

D: (thinks) uh…what was her name? oh yea! Preeti! (smiles)

D: uh...excuse me gals…(goes to Preeti and Sonia) hey can u help me out for just a sec?

Sonia pushes Preeti towards Dev. And Preeti turns around to look at Sonia and gives her a WTH look. Than Dev takes Preeti's hand and makes her sit at the table with him…soon most girls get the point and leave… while Preeti is still confused. Dev laughs at seeing her face.

D: haha you didn't get why I did that…did you?

P: uh…was I supposed to?

D: (chuckles) idk…well I needed some peace and quite to eat my lunch and if you were sitting here…

P: oooooh! Ok I get it (laughs) ok so if you don't mind since youyr friends are coming…can I go buy my lunch?

D: my friends are coming?

P: yes…rite behind you.

Someone taps Dev's shoulder. Dev looks up and sees a annoyed face.

D: oh shit! I forgot dude!! I am soooo totally sry!

Dude: Du

Du: yea sure!

You see a couple of guys sitting down at the table. Dev looks across excepting Preeti but finds that she is already gone.

D: where she go?

Du: who? Preeti? She already left to buy food.

D: yea Preeti…how do you know her?

Du: she is in my class…nice girl…but YOU dude…are not NICE!

D: oh come one Cody! I missed a lunch practice…so? I had to get away from those girls! But it turned out they were following me!!

C: what did you do to them anyways?

D: NOTHING man! You know how every year I get a new BMW? Well, they saw me get out…and now you get it?

C: (laughs) yup…girls are always following you…either because your rich or your looks…haha

Lunch line where Preeti is:

S: so…why did he drag you to the table?

P: because he wanted the girls to go away…haha

S: oh…lol. Ok so you see that guy next to him?

P: Cody?

S: yea! Isn't he cute?

P: yea...but...really…your going for Cody? He is sweet…but NOT desi!

S: so? He is chaldean…close enough…

Preeti just rolls her eyes and pays for her food. As Sonia and Preeti are walking they hear a whistle. Preeti turns around and sees Cody waving at her. They walk towards him.

P: hey Cody what's up?

C: nothing much Pretty (that's how everyone says and spells my name lol.) come sit with us!

Preeti and Sonia sit down. And soon are part of the group…during lunch both Preeti and Dev keep taking glances at each other…thinking: y do I think that I have seen him/her b4?

Will Dev and Preeti get closer?😕

ok i noe its a lil slow rite now...but this had to happen b4 the interesting things can happen.

ok preeti very nice....but i do not like this cody guy...LOL....i want a desi...haha...gr8 prt continue soon.....

hey i noe i would cont. when break started...but one tiny lil problem....my parents have decided to take me out for the week...so i might not be even back until thursday or friday....:((( trust me i am more sad than anyone....if it means i cant cont. cuz i will not be home it also means i cant go out with cody:((( sad no? ok so here is my b4 sry....SORRY!!!
