Episode 4:

Recap: It is revealed that the man who kidnapped Prerna and Prem is indeed Bajaj. However, he lets Prerna go, but keeps Prem with him, saying that she can try all she can to get the police over to the building, but he will be in a plane by then. Prerna, still keeping hope that she can save Prem from this changed Bajaj, runs throughout the streets, and screams, as a pair of headlights came near her...

Basu House: The home phone rings. Anurag picks it up. "Hello?" he asks, and he looks at his watch. It was very late in the night. Who could be calling at this hour?

"Hello, I am calling from Central Hospital in Panshmeshwar. Does a Prerna Bajaj live here?"

"Yes," replied Anurag, as he became tense. Sneha, Tushar, Sam, and the rest of the family come into the room and listen as Anurag talks on the phone.

"Okay... Well, I am very sorry to inform you that Mrs. Prerna has come with an accident. Please come as soon as possible."

Anurag dropped the phone. Could it be? How could Prerna have come with an accident? And where was Prem? Where did she leave him? Thoughts were racing through his mind, and his eyes began to water. If anything happens to Prerna... The rest of the family tries to get Anurag to talk. Sneha was the first..."Papa, tell us, what's happened? Why are you so tense?"

"Sneha... I have some bad news. Prerna has had an accident." Sneha opened her mouth wide and began crying, while Tushar looked confused as he consoled her.

Anurag continued. "We must go there right now. I din't know what condition she is in!"

At the Central Hospital in Panshmeshwar:

Anurag, Sneha, and Tushar rush into the hospital, and Sneha is still in tears. Anurag goes to the main desk to ask where Prerna is. The clerk is on the telephone, presumably talking to her friend.

"Yeah, I know... and then I said to him..."

"Excuse, me," Anurag tried to act as calm as he could. "Which room is Mrs. Prerna Bajaj in?"

The lady covered the mouthpiece of the phone and said to him, "Can't you see I am on the telephone?" And, curtly, she gave him a deep glare of hate and returned to her call.

"But, this is your job! Here someone's life is in danger, and you are busy talking on the phone? What kind of clerk are you?"

Okay, okay... don't lose your hair, old man... Prerna Bajaj... she is in the operation theater, down that hallway. Happy?"

Anurag did not reply, instead he gave her a threatening look that said, "I will deal with you later!"

When the family reached the Operation Theater, the doctor was just coming out. "Doctor," said Sneha, still crying her eyes out. "How is she?"

"I can't say anything yet. She has lost a lot of blood, and has had several brain injuries. We completed the operation, but I can't gurantee anything. We will have to keep her under observation for some time."

Sneha, Tushar, and Anurag (especially) get very shocked. They all break down in tears. After a moment, Anurag controls himself and says, "But how did this happen?"

The doctor replied, "Well, apparantly, Prerna was running through the streets, and a car hit her... but, thankfully, even though it was not his fault, the driver took her here to the hospital. If he hadn't done that, this woman's survival would almost be impossible."

"Yes, but where is he, doctor? I need to say thans to him."

"He is in the waiting room. He also wanted to meet you."

Anurag enters the waiting room. It is empty except a man with a nice, white coat and blue jeans. He had jet black hair, and, sensing someone was in the room with him, he turned around. His face is shown.

Here is a picture of the person in the waiting room... you know, just so you can visualize him as you watch the serial:

Just imagine him without the gross earing and bangages...

Episode 5:

Recap: Prerna is in the hospital, and doctors have little to say on if she will live or not. Meanwhile, Anurag goes to the waiting room, where the man who had the accident with Prerna is... His face is revealed, and the picture of him is on episode 4, near the bottom of page 4...Let's see what happens now:

The man turns and looks at Anurag... the waiting room is empty, except for a clerk quietly working away.

Anurag comes up to the man and speaks first: "Are you the man who brought Prerna to the hospital after she had an accident with your car?"

The man doesn't smile, just looks at him without any expression and says, "I don't know if her name is Prerna, but yes, a lady did get hit by my car."

"Yes, well, that is Prerna. I want to tell you how thankful I am to you for saving her life. These days, people don't care who they hit on the road. And this wasn't even your fault."

"Well, as a human being, I must help another person in danger. How is she now?" He still didn't smile, and looked at the ground as he talked to Anurag.

"Well, the doctors have kept her under observation, but they can't say anything yet." At that he burst into tears again.

The man glared up at him, not angrily, just a little abruptly, and stammered, "Please... don't cry... I... hate... crying." And with that, he turned around.

Anurag pulled himself together and looked at the man's back. That was peculiar. Why didn't he like tears? Whatever it was, Anurag felt that he offended the man.

"I'm very sorry... I didn't mean to cry, it's just that she is... anyway, may I know your name?"

"Shashank... Shashank Aggarwal..." He turned to face Anurag again.

"Well, it has been nice meeting you, Mr. Shashank , and I want to thank you once again."

"Umm... yes... I just hope your uh... wife becomes well."

Anurag had to speak up. "She isn't my wife, just a friend."

"Oh." And with that, he just turned around again. Anurag stayed in the room again, wondering if he should leave or not, but when Shashank didn't say anything else, he just left.

Shashank remained in the room, looking at a painting on the wall of a woman holding flowers. He just stared at it, idle... until finally the clerk said, "Do you need anything sir?" But he didn't reply. He just left.

Back in front of Prerna's hospital room:

Tushar was sitting on a chair next to Sneha, who seemed to have controlled her tears by now. Anurag joined them. After a while, he felt a little restless, and so he went outside for some fresh air. He noticed a temple nearby and went in...

"God," he said. "I have believed in you for many years, and have worshiped you as well. But why did you let this happen to Prerna? What made her have so many problems? First Bajaj left, and then this... And on the top of all this, she also has to take care of Prem... Oh my gosh! I forgot all about Prem! Where could he be? I must go to the police and tell them..."

After telling the police about Prem, Anurag leaves the police station. He would have tried to look for Prem, but where would he look? Prem could be anywhere, and so he would have to wait for Prerna to tell him the whole story... why had she been running in the middle of the streets? And where was Prem?

While driving, Anurag had to stop at a red light. People were crossing the road, and Anurag looked at one particular woman. Her head was covered with a veil, she had large eyes, she was slightly familiar... Could it be who I think it is? He blinked his eyes, but by the time he opened them, the lady was gone...I must have been thinking...

At the Panshmeshwar Airport, we see a plane taking off...

Well, I think this was a good episode, right? That Shashank is weird, huh? I wonder what's wrong with him? Oh well, I don't need to wonder, you do, because I know why!😆 Watch for the next Episode!!!

BTW, how do you like how I decorated the first page of this topic? Cool, huh?
