Part 16

3 years later

Arushi: Aryan!!!! Come here right now, or I'll call your dad!!!

Aryan: no mama! I don't want to drink the milk!!! Milk is yucky!!!

Arushi: Aryan! This is not the way a good boy behaves!

Aryan: You don't love Aryan as much as he loves you!

Arushi: don't try to emotionally blackmail me!!!!

Adi: Aru, what's going on?

Arushi: tell your son to drink his milk, otherwise, he's not gonna get to go play with Reena, Anjali, or Rhea!!!

Adi: uh oh, that's a problem isn't it?

Aryan: dad!!! That's not fair!!! I wanna play with them!!

Adi: well then hurry up and drink your milk!!

Arushi smiles at Adi as Aryan drinks up all his milk quickly.

Arushi: now you have to quickly decide, where you want to go, Maya auntie's house, Simran aunties or Jhanvi aunties?

Aryan: I don't know…. I wanna meet Rhea and Anjali, because they can't boss me around!! But Reena, is just so mean to me, she always thinks that because she is older she can do whatever she wants to me!!!

Adi: that's not very nice Aryan….

Arushi: ok let's quickly give you a bath so you can go play with Rhea and Anjali, and Reena too!!

Aryan runs up the stairs, while Arushi tells Adi to call Aman, and Raj, to tell them to meet at Rahul's house.

Adi calls them both and they all agree to meet at Rahul's in an hour, but they made one little mistake.

An hour later.

Raj rings the doorbell at Rahul and Maya's house. Rahul answers the door completely surprised.

Rahul: what are you guys doing here at 2:00 in the afternoon?

Raj: didn't Aman or Adi call you?

Rahul: uh no, otherwise I wouldn't be surprised right?

Raj: shut up Rahul, anyway we're all supposed to meet here, because all the kids basically wanted to play together…

Rahul: Maya!!! MAYA!!!

Maya: I'm coming wait!!!

Maya appears from the staircase.

Maya: oh hi Simran, what are you guys doing here so early?

Simran: Arushi didn't call you?

Maya: Aru was supposed to call me?

Simran: ya, Jhanvi, and Aru, should be coming soon because the kids all wanted to play together.

Maya: ok well come on in. I'll go get Anjali…

Rahul: should I help you?

Maya: Rahul, Shut up!

Raj, Simran, and Maya all laugh, and Maya goes upstairs to get Anjali. After a few minutes Arushi and Adi arrive.

Aryan: Rhea!!!

Aryan runs into the playroom, and goes to Rhea.

Maya brings Anjali from upstairs and right then the doorbell rings again.

Maya: hey Jhanvi, hi Adi….

Adi: hey, we haven't seen each other for what? 24 hours?

Maya laughs: yes….

They all move into the playroom, and let the kids all play together. The four women walk into the kitchen and start making some lunch, and all the guys sit down and watch soccer, while pretending to watch the kids, but they all knew that Reena would take good care of the little ones, even though she wasn't quite 6 yet, she was really responsible for her age.

After the women come in, they all sat down on the floor near their respective husbands.

Adi: can you believe it's been 6 years since I met Arushi?

Arushi: shut up Adi….

Adi: what? I love you!

Arushi: I know you do…

Adi: then what's the problem??

Arushi: you know what Adi? ………….shut up!!!

Adi: (sulky) thanks….

Arushi: awww…. Adi, you know I love you…

Raj: can we stop with all the lovey dovey talk?

Simran: Raj, you need to be nicer...

Raj: ok, I'm sorry!!!

Jhanvi: gee Raj, when did my big brother get so sweet?

Aman: he learned it from me!

Jhanvi: yes you're the god of sweetness!!!

Aman: you know I am!!!!

Maya: Aman, go get a life!!

Rahul: why are you being so mean?

Maya: I thought that was in my nature?

Rahul: I was saying that as a means to get you to shut up!

Aryan: mama, why are you all talking so loud!?? Be quiet, Rhea's sleeping!

Arushi: (whispers to Simran) my baby is so smart!

Adi: ok, so now can we stop gushing over the babies, and go watch the soccer game!

Everyone turns and looks at the kids, and they all think about how wonderful their life turned out, and how everything would have turned out differently if they hadn't met each other six years ago.

So that's it for this ff, and I'll look forward to your comments. Also I will post another ff...
