Part Thirty Two

Seeing the state Sneha was in, Prerna wasn't sure if telling her about Aryan was a good idea.

Sneha: Please didi take me to him…he…he must be angry at me or something, that's why he didn't come here…

Kripa: Sneha…listen to me…Sneha…

By now Sneha didn't even want to hear anything Kripa was trying to tell her, all that mattered to her, was seeing Aryan. Sneha was even about to go out, to go look for him, but then she stopped and turned around.

Sneha: Do you reckon, if I apologised to him…he…he will forgive me

Kripa went up to Sneha.

Kripa: Listen to me…Sneha…Sneha…

Kripa shook Sneha, trying to bring her back to her senses. She was in a world of her own, in which only Aryan existed.

Kripa: Sneha!!!!...Where are you going to look for him?...Do you even know where he is?

Sneha: Didi, knows where he is?

Prerna: I just bumped into him…Sneha, he could be anywhere out there

But that still didn't stop her.

Sneha: I will find him if it's the last thing I do…

This time, Prerna stopped Sneha in her tracks.

Prerna: Sneha…wait…you're being crazy…this is insanity…don't do this to yourself…he could be anywhere…where will you go looking for him…where?

Sneha: Anywhere

Kripa: Sneha…no…wait…don't do this…

Kripa grabbed hold of her arm, to stop her from leaving.

Sneha: What are you doing?...Let go of me…I have to go find him...I just want to see him just once…if I could see him…I won't let him leave, ever again…I have to go…

Kripa: Look at yourself…Sneha, why are you doing this to yourself, why…

Prerna: Sneha…look at me…Aryan left you, you didn't leave him…

Sneha: Didi…how can you say that? Aryan, left because he had his reasons, he…he…

Prerna: You're misunderstanding me…Sneha…I meant, maybe he did come back for you…but he's not sure whether or not you will forgive him or not for leaving you…maybe he needs time to think things through, before he comes to you…or else why would he come back…

Kripa: Sneha…didi is right…just give him the time he needs, if he truly loves you, as much as you love him, he will come to you himself…don't do this to yourself

Sneha knew in a way both Kripa and Prerna were right. But she kept on trying to leave; she wanted to see Aryan, for herself, just once. No matter how hard she tried to go, Kripa and Prerna were reluctant to let her go. Eventually Sneha gave in and just dropped down onto her knees and then she burst into tears.

Prerna: Sneha…no…don't cry…Sneha stop crying…no…

Prerna tried to wipe Sneha's tears away.

Sneha: Didi…Why does this happen to me?...Why?

Both Kripa and Prerna began to cry as well. Kripa hugged Sneha.

Kripa: Sneha, don't cry…

Sneha: What have I ever done to anyone?...Why does this always happen to me?

Kripa: Sneha…listen to me, you've always put everyone's happiness before your own…fate can't be so cruel to someone like you…one day…believe me one day your true love will come back to you…It will win against fate…

Prerna looked on as Kripa tried to calm Sneha down. Reassuring her that everything will be alright. Slowly Prerna got up and walked out of the room. She felt so helpless, because of her Sneha was in this state. She walked down the stairs and the stopped. She walked around for a few minutes, reflecting back on everything that had happened. She then turned and punched the wall, as hard as she could.

Anjali: Hey what's happened? Prerna are you okay?

Prerna turned around to face Anjali and Kashish.

Prerna: I've ruined Sneha's birthday…How could I do that to her?...I…

Kashish: What are you talking about?...What did you do?...Prerna…tell me…

Prerna told Kashish and Anjali everything that had happened.

Anjali: OMG!!! How is she?

Prerna: She's upstairs with Kripa.

Anjali was about to go upstairs. But then she stopped, as she saw Kripa closing the bedroom door and then making her way down the stairs.

Anjali: How is she? Is she okay?

Kripa: I've got her to…she's sleeping…well trying to…I told her she needed to rest for a while…

Prerna: I'm really sorry…I've ruined this day…

Kashish: No you haven't…stop thinking that…

Prerna: It's Sneha and Kripa's birthday…and you and Sujal got engaged…everyone should be happy…why…why do I do things like this for…I shouldn't have told Sneha…If I would have known she would react like this, believe me I wouldn't have…

Anjali: Believe me…no one blames you for anything…you didn't do anything wrong.

Kripa: If anything…you seeing Aryan maybe a blessing in disguise…I mean now we know that Aryan is here…who knows he might have come back for Sneha…

Kashish: We're just going to have to wait and see

About an hour later Sujal, Kavya, Prem and Angad, turned up. Anjali told them about what had happened. Immediately Sujal and Prem ran upstairs to Sneha's room. They opened the door, but then stopped, as Sneha was lying in bed sleeping. They slowly walked up to her bedside. Her eyes were still moist, which gave the indication that she cried herself to sleep. Prem noticed that Sneha had something close to her chest. It looked like a photo frame. He carefully removed it. It was the picture, taken at the dance. Sneha wore a white dress, while Aryan wore a tuxedo. Her smile made her look more prettier. It enhanced her innocence.

Prem: She looked like an angel, look at her smile…she's been living with this one moment all her life…why can't she ever be happy…she's always thinking about others…

Sujal took off Sneha's shoes and then pulled up the duvet and gently tucked her in.

Sujal: Maybe its about time, we all did something for her…enough messing about…she's always taken care of us…we have to take care of her as well…we have to make sure she always stays happy.

Prem passed the photo to Sujal. He stared at it for a few seconds and then smiled at it.

Sujal: It's hard to believe this is the same Sneha…back then she wasn't as strong as she is now….look at her now…no one can tell she's sooooo unhappy with her life…she has soooo much pain and heart brake inside her and yet she doesn't even show it.

Prem: I just wish I could do more for her…

Sujal: You can…I mean we all can…

Sujal placed the photo frame down on the bedside table and then kissed Sneha on her forehead and then left the room. Prem just stood there staring at Sneha.

Prem: I promise you that I will always keep you happy…I won't ever trouble you again…starting tomorrow I am going to make sure you will always stay happy, no matter what it takes

The next morning both Prem and Sujal were in the kitchen, making Sneha's favourite breakfast.

Prem: This is our first step…hope she likes it…

Sujal: She will…

Prem: I'll go and call her down

Prem was about to go up and call Sneha, but then he stopped, as he saw Kripa coming down.

Kripa: Hey, have you seen Sneha?

Prem: What do you mean?...Isn't she in her room?

Sujal made his way over to Prem and Kripa, as they both looked puzzled.

Kripa: No…I thought…she might have come down…

Sujal: She couldn't have…we've been down for quite some time now

Kripa began to get worried.

Kripa: I don't like this…where is she?

Prem: She'll be around here somewhere…don't you worry…

Kavya: Hey guys good morning

Kavya noticed that something was wrong

Kavya: What's wrong?...Is everything okay?

Prem: It's Sneha…she's disappeared…

Kripa: We can't find her anywhere…

Kavya: Relax…I'll go and look for her outside, you guys check the house…

Kavya turned around to go outside. But then stopped. Sneha ran in through the front door. Her hair was tied back in a pony tail and her face was covered in sweat. She was breathing heavily.

Sneha: Hey where are you off to?

Everyone was surprised to see Sneha, in the state she was in.

Kripa: Where have you been?

Sneha: I went for a jog…why, is that unusual or something?

Prem: You've been gone for quite some time

Sneha just shrugged her shoulders

Sneha: I just felt like taking a long run…

Kripa: Are you feeling okay?

Sneha: Yes I am…why…

Kripa wasn't sure, whether or not she should even mention the incident from yesterday. Sneha was acting like as if the whole thing never happened. She seemed a lot better than the day before.

Kripa: Nothing…just that you weren't up in your room, that's all

Sneha: Everything is fine…I'm off upstairs to take a shower…I really need to get out of these clothes…I'll be down in a few minutes

Without saying anything else or giving anyone else a chance to say anything else, Sneha ran upstairs towards her bedroom. Everyone just stood there staring at each other, as they were confused about what had just happened.

Kripa: I don't know what just happened…but I'm getting kind of worried…

Kripa went after Sneha.

Kripa: Sneha…are you okay?...I mean…

Sneha: Yes I am…see

Sneha smiled at Kripa, showing her that nothing was wrong.

Sneha: Now go downstairs…I soooo need a shower…I'm really hungry after the jog…I'll be down in a minute…

Kripa: Are you sure?

Sneha: Yessss….now gooooo

Sneha playfully pushed Kripa out of the room and saw her go down the stairs.

She then closed the door and locked it. Then she ran and dropped down onto her bed. She started to cry.

Sneha: I'm sorry Kripa…I lied to you…I'm not fine…But what can I do…ever since I've found out about Aryan…I want to see him and hold him…but…but its also hurting you guys…seeing me in this state…I over heard Sujal bhaiya and Prem talking last night…I can't let you guys see me like this…not anymore…whether or not Aryan comes back to me…the only thing that matters to me is seeing you guys happy…that's why I'm putting on this act…so you guys can also get on with your lives as well and not worry about me…because I know how much you all love me…but I to love you sooooo much.

Meanwhile, outside the house, Aryan was parked up. He watched Sneha walk into the house, after her jog. He just sat there in his car, just staring at the house. At one point Sneha, came up to the window and opened the curtains. Aryan quickly ducked behind the steering wheel and then looked back up. He only just managed to catch a glimpse of her as she turned away from the window. He pulled out his wallet and opened it. It contained a picture of Sneha.

Aryan: Sneha…I don't know how can I ever face you now…especially after the way I left you…if you can ever find it in your heart then please forgive me…even now I still love you…but I'm not worthy of your love…what can I do I'm helpless at the hands of fate.

Aryan was about to drive away, when all of a sudden, there was a knock on the car door. Aryan turned around and was shocked to see Kripa standing there.

Kripa: So you're hiding out here?

Aryan opened the side window

Aryan: Hi Kripa…how are you?

Kripa: I'm fine…but what are you doing here?

Aryan: I was…erm…looking for an address…

Kripa: She's inside…

Aryan: Who?

Kripa: You know who I'm talking about…

Aryan: Look Kripa…me and Sneha…it's in the past…I…

Kripa: How the hell can you say that?

Aryan: You won't understand…

Aryan was about to leave.

Kripa: That's right…just run away…just like you did before…go ahead break her heart again…

Aryan: Look Kripa she's fine as she is….I don't want to her hurt again, by coming back into her life…

Kripa: You already have…

Aryan: What?

Kripa: She already knows you're here in this city

Kripa told him about what had happened last night

Kripa: Aryan…Sneha has been living in one world…which begins with you and ends with you…she forgave you long time a ago…all she ever wanted…all she ever wished for…was just to see you…just once…so she'd never let you go…even today she cries herself to sleep every time she thinks about you and the love you two shared…she loves you more than ever

Aryan still didn't say anything, he just sat there looking ahead.

Kripa: Look Aryan…look at me…I'm begging you…please save Sneha's life…you…only you can save her, by coming back into her life…believe me she needs you…she's always thinking about other peoples happiness, fate has always denied her of the happiness she's entitled to…please give her back her happiness.

That was when Aryan turned towards Kripa. She could see a tear in his eye, as he smiled at her.

Aryan: Where is she?

Kripa couldn't contain her delight, she couldn't even understand what she should do now…how could she tell Sneha.

Kripa: Okay look you wait here…I'll be right back…

Kripa ran as fast as she could towards the house. She burst in through the door.

Sneha: Hey where's the fire?...what's the rush?

Everyone at the breakfast table turned around to see Kripa. Without saying anything she ran up to Sneha and grabbed her hand.

Kripa: You have to come with me

Sneha: Kripa…let me finish my breakfast…

But Kripa didn't want to hear anything else, she just pulled Sneha away from the breakfast table and headed towards the front door.

Sneha: Kripa…what are you doing?...Where are you taking me?

Everyone else followed behind them. Sujal, Kavya and Prem were surprised at the way Kripa was acting. Kripa stopped outside the house and blindfolded Sneha.

Sneha: Kripa enough of your jokes…tell me what's going on right now…

Kripa: Just wait and see…

During the commotion, Anjali, Kashish and Prerna came over to see how Sneha was coping after last night. Even they were surprised at what Kripa was doing.

Anjali: Kripa…what are you doing? What kind of a prank is this?

Kripa: Didi…believe me all will be revealed…you will all see…even you Sneha…

Kripa then walked her out towards the middle of the lawn and left her.

Sneha: Kripa?...Kripa, where are you going?...Kripa

Sneha walked around in all directions, blindfolded, trying to find Kripa.

Sneha: Kripa…what are you playing at?...I'm taking this off…

Kripa: No…just a few more seconds…just try and catch me, believe me…it will be worth it….trust me Sneha…

Sneha tried reaching out to Kripa to catch her, as she was following her voice.

Eventually Sneha grabbed hold of someone. Everyone was shocked to see who was there. They all stood there in disbelief, as they couldn't believe their eyes. They all stared at Kripa. She smiled back at them and nodded her head, telling them that it was true. Her eyes were brimming with tears of happiness, as this was the moment, that her best friend, her sister, was about to get her happiness, her life handed back to her. Slowly Sneha removed the blindfold. She then rubbed her eyes, as the bright sun light, was blinding her.

Sneha: So tell me…What's the sup…

Sneha stopped talking, as her eyes were wide open in complete shock. She couldn't believe her eyes. She slowly lifted her hand to touch Aryan's face.

Sneha: A…A…Aryan

Aryan: Sneha

Sneha closed her eyes, as she heard Aryan say her name, after a long time.

Sneha: Say it again…

Aryan: Sneha

Sneha opened her eyes.

Sneha: Say it again

Aryan: Sneha

Sneha: Aryan

Sneha leapt towards Aryan and hugged him tightly, while she cried her heart out. Everyone else were sooooo happy for Sneha, especially Sujal, Prem and Kripa.

Prem: Kripa I don't know how can I ever thank you…

Kripa: What are you talking about?

Prem: You've done what I couldn't do…you brought Sneha's happiness back…

Sujal: Kripa…you don't have any idea what you have done for us…especially Sneha…we've always tried to keep her happy, but because of you…today I can see her happiness for real…her life has come back to her…

Kripa: Bhaiya, I didn't do anything…please don't say that…I'm also part of this family…so please don't make me out to be some stranger…

Anjali: I am soooo proud of you…I can't believe my dear sister has grown up so much

Kripa: Oh come on didi…

Kripa turned around to see Sneha and Aryan. Sneha also turned to see Kripa, while she still had her arms around Aryan. Kripa gave a thumbs up to Sneha and Sneha smiled back at her and then gave her a thumbs up.

Kripa: Right come on everyone leave these two out here…alone…

Kripa marshalled everyone back inside the house, leaving Sneha and Aryan alone.

There was silence in the air, as neither Sneha or Aryan didn't know what to say to each other. But that didn't matter to Sneha, all that mattered to her was that Aryan was here with her and she wasn't going to let him go.

Aryan: Sneha…I…

Sneha: Why did you leave me like that?...Why…

Aryan: You know why I left…I had nothing to offer you…I had no name no nothing…all I had was just an aimless life…I couldn't ruin your life as well as mine…

Sneha: All I ever wanted was your support…I just wanted you…only you

Aryan: You love me sooo much and yet I still caused you pain…Can you ever forgive me?

Sneha smiled at Aryan.

Sneha: I already did…didn't I...

Sneha then became quiet for a few seconds. There was still a small part of fear, inside her.

Sneha: Aryan…

Before Sneha could finish, Aryan stopped her, as he knew what she was going to say.

Aryan: I've come back to you, for you and only you…I promise you…I will never leave you now

Sneha: I….I….I…I love you…

Aryan: I love you too

Kripa: Awwwwww cho chweet

Sneha and Aryan turned around.

Sneha: Kripa?...You…

Kripa: What's up now Sneha?...Now it's my turn…I will get my revenge…remember when me and Angad got together…It's a Kodak moment...remember…

This Sneha didn't chase after Kripa, instead she just laughed at herself. Kripa walked over to Sneha.

Kripa: That's it…always stay like this…I don't ever want to see you unhappy…now you've got your life…you're happiness back

Kripa then turned towards Aryan.

Kripa: Always be there for her…she's been through a lot…

Aryan: Don't worry…I will always be there for her…
