Part Thirty One

One of the guys blind folded both of them, so they couldn't see where they were going.

Sneha: Who…are you? What do you want?

Sneha kept on asking the kidnappers the same question over and over again, but neither answered. Her heart was beating faster than ever. She could hear Kripa sobbing and begging the kidnappers to let them go. But they weren't listening to either one of them. Then one of the kidnappers phoned someone.

Kidnapper: Yes I have the girls…we're on our way…

The voice of the kidnapper sounded soooo deep and little distorted.

Kidnapper: Don't worry girls…you're real place is coming up soon.

Several minutes later, the car screeched to a halt and the car doors opened. The kidnappers helped the girls out of the car. Where ever they were taken to, it was a quite place. Nothing could be heard, not even the cool breeze in the air. The place definitely was abandoned. The girls could hear their own echo.

The kidnappers stopped all of a sudden and removed the blindfolds. The girls rubbed their eyes and looked around. There was nothing but darkness around them, they could barely make out where they were.

Sneha: Kripa…where are we?

Kripa: Sneha…hold my hand…

All of a sudden the lights came on.

????: SURPRISE!!!!!

The girls jumped as they turned around. Everyone was standing behind them. Everyone including, Sujal, Kashish, Anjali, Prerna, Angad, even Sonia and Neha were there as well.

Everyone: HAPPY BIRTHDAY….SNEHA…HAPPY BIRTHDAY…KRIPA…!!!!

The girls didn't know what to feel, they were both surprised and still shaken up. The girls felt a hand on their shoulders. They turned around and saw the kidnappers take their masks off. They were none other than Kavya and Prem.

Sneha: Prem…YOU!!!!!....Kavya…

It didn't even take the girls a second to take off their shoe, as they were about to hit both Kavya and Prem.

Prem: Hey…come on…that's going to hurt…

Both Kavya and Prem ran away, with Kripa and Sneha chasing after them. Kavya and Prem ran up to the table and hid behind Sujal and Kashish.

Sujal: Hey…what's happened?

Sneha: What do you mean…what's happened?...They kidnapped us and brought us here.

Everyone was surprised as they all turned around towards Kavya and Prem.

Kashish: Kavya…Prem…what did you two do?...What are they saying?

Sujal: You two said, you were going to call them here…but you said you were going to make them jump from behind…

Sneha: I'm not going to spare the pair of them…wait till I get my hands on you…

Prem: Oh come on…think of it as payback for all the times you've been winding us up…

Sneha: Right…come here wait till I get my…

Sneha was about to go after Prem, but then Sujal stopped her.

Sujal: Sneha…listen we will get back at them later on…come on now at least forget about it for the time being…come on you two…cut the cake…we've been waiting all this time.

Kripa stepped forward and pointed her finger at both Prem and Kavya.

Kripa: This isn't over…remember this…

Anjali turned towards Kavya and signalled to him, that she was going to kill him later on, for scaring her little sister. Kavya turned towards Prem.

Kavya: Great…thanks to you…my funeral has been confirmed…

Prem: Thanks to me…It was your idea…

Kavya: No it was yours…

Prerna: Can both of you shut it…you can argue later on or outside.

Both Prem and Kavya were surprised as to how the girls were talking to them. Anjali was already staring at both of them. Her eyes were fuming getting ready to burn them alive, while both Kripa and Sneha blew the candles out.

Everyone: Happy Birthday to you…happy birthday to you…

Then both held the knife together and cut the cake, while everyone was clapping and cheering. Sneha took a piece of cake and fed it to Sujal and then Kashish, where as Kripa first gave her piece to Anjali and then Angad. She was about to walk away, but then Angad grabbed her hand.

Kripa: Angad…what are you doing?

Anjali: Kripa…what are you doing there…come on over here?

Kripa: Yes…I'm coming…

Angad smiled at Kripa

Angad: Go on…Anjali is calling you…

Kripa: I will if you let me go…

Angad: Now that is one thing I cannot do…

Kripa: Angad…everyone's looking…come on let me go…

Angad: No one is looking

But then Kripa froze, as she was looking ahead, behind Angad.

Kripa: Kashish di…I was just coming…

Immediately Angad let go of Kripa's hand and turned around. No one was there. That was when he realised that Kripa had tricked him. He turned back around and saw Kripa making her way over towards the crowd around the table. She did turn around once and smiled back at Angad.

Angad: I won't let you go that easily

At the table Sneha took two pieces of the cake and made her way over towards Kavya and Prem.

Sneha: I'm willing to forget everything for the time being, because of everyone here…which is why I brought this over

Within the space of a second, Sneha slammed both pieces of cake in Kavya and Prem's face.

Sneha: There…now you're forgiven…

Then Sneha walked away, while everyone else was laughing at both Kavya and Prem. Both guys then wiped away the cake from their faces. In all of the commotion, Angad sneaked up towards Kripa and held her hand again, this time he wasn't going to let go. Kripa turned around towards Angad and looked up. This time she smiled back at Angad and was even about to laugh, but then she turned back around. Then all of a sudden Kripa walked away from Angad. He just stood there in shock, as he watched her make her way over to Sneha and Prerna.

Anjali: Erm…Angad…I don't know what you think you are doing…but can you let go of my hand…

Angad: What?

Angad looked down and saw that he was holding Anjali's hand. He immediately let go.

Angad: Oh…sorry…I…

Anjali: You do know I'm already taken…I mean…

Angad: I know…I'm sorry…it was a mistake…

Angad looked ahead and saw both Sneha and Kripa laughing their heads off, because of what had happened.

Anjali: Angad…Thanks for being part of Kripa's life…

Angad turned towards Anjali.

Anjali: It's the first time in a long time, I have seen her laugh her heart out and especially after what happened…it's all because of you…

Angad: There's nothing in the world I wouldn't do for her…

Anjali: Angad…don't get me wrong…I'm not doubting you or anything like that, but still…I want you to promise me that you will always be there for her and love her like this.

Angad: Don't worry…I promise…I will always keep her happy…and don't worry about you asking me to make this promise to you…I can understand…she's your darling little sister after all.

Both looked on, as they saw Kripa still laughing and joking with everyone else. It was like as if the past events had never happened with her.

Meanwhile, Neha noticed that Sujal was standing alone in the far corner, while everyone else was enjoying the party. So she made her way over to him.

Neha: Sir…are you okay?

Sujal: Hey Neha…yes I'm fine…

Neha: Are you sure?...I mean you're here on your own and…

Sujal stared at Neha.

Neha: I'm sorry Sir…I shouldn't…

Sujal: Neha…relax…if anything I should apologise for yesterday…

Neha: Sir…Its okay…don't…

Sujal: No its not…I had no right to talk to you like that…

Neha: Sir…I owe you a lot…if I still have my father…its because of you…small things like that don't matter to me…I forgot about the whole thing after you left…I know you didn't mean it…because you are a good person.

Sujal: But even though…

Neha: Sir…I just want to forget about it…it's your sister's birthday…you should be enjoying yourself…anyway I should be thanking you for inviting me as well…

Sujal: I would be enjoying it…only…only…

Neha: Only what?

There was a brief silence between them.

Neha: If there's a problem…you can tell me if you want…

At first Sujal was a little hesitant, but then he whispered it in Neha's ear.

Neha: OMG! Sir…what's there to be nervous about? Go for it…

Sujal: It's not as easy as you think…

Neha: But Sir, if you don't do it, then you will keep on asking yourself the same question over and over again…Look at the time…everyone is happy…this will be a great gift to Sneha…It will work out…believe me Sir…

Neha was about to walk away, but then she stopped and turned back around towards Sujal.

Neha: Sir, if you don't do it today, then you'll never be able to do it again…

Then she walked away.

Several minutes later Sujal managed to pluck up the courage and made his way over to Kashish.

Sujal: Can I have everyone's attention?

Neha signalled towards Sujal. Wishing him good luck.

Sujal then turned towards Kashish, pulled out a ring and then got down onto one knee.

Kashish: Sujal…What are you doing?

Sujal: Don't say anything…let me say what I have to say

Sneha, Kripa and Anjali couldn't contain their delight, as they knew what Sujal was about to do.

Sujal: Kashish…our lives started off over a fight, then friendship…I know I lied to you, but that was because I was afraid of losing you…but you still forgave me…you came back into my life…You were like a new lease of life for me…you gave my life a whole new meaning to it…Kashish I want see you every morning when I wake up and every time I close my eyes at night…I want our lives to become one…Kashish…Will…Will you marry me?

Everyone was cheering her one, hoping she would say yes, especially Sneha and Kripa. There was a tear in Kashish's eye, as she stared at Sujal.

Kashish couldn't find the words to answer Sujal's question. She could feel a lump forming in her throat, as she was overwhelmed by Sujal's love.

Kashish: Yes…yes…I will marry you…

Kashish put her hand forward. Sujal gently held it, as he put the ring on her finger. Everyone started cheering, Sneha couldn't even contain her delight, she ran up to Sujal and hugged him.

Sneha: Oh thank you bhaiya…this is the best gift I could ever ask for…I love you bhaiya…

Sneha then turned towards Kashish.

Sneha: What do I call you?...Kashish didi or Kashish bhabhi?

Kashish blushed, as everyone waited for her answer.

Kashish: Erm…for the time being Kashish didi…

Prerna: Wow…already you're blushing…wonder what's going to happen to you, after you're married…

Kashish: Hey…Prerna…stop it right now…

Kripa: Come on didi…you can order bhaiya about not us…

Sujal: She doesn't order me about….I'm her boss, I order her…

Kashish: Oh really…We'll see…

Kavya and Prem came over to congratulate Sujal and Kashish.

Kavya and Prem: Congrats bhaiya

They hug.

Anjali: By the way you've still got a chance…think about it, as far as I know Kashish always gets what she wants…

Sujal: Oh thank god…that means I've still got a chance to think about it…

Kashish: Oh…okay…you keep on thinking…while I consider other offers

Kashish was about to walk away, when Sujal grabbed her hand.

Sujal: I've thought about it…I don't need to think about anything else…apart from you….

Everyone: Awwwww

Both Sujal and Kashish blushed this time, as they both for a second forgot that they weren't alone.

Sujal: Well atleast now everyone knows how much I love you…

Lakshya: Hey…everyone…sorry we're late.

Everyone turned around and saw Lakshya and KT arriving.

Kripa: Didi…what time do you call this?...

KT: I'm soooo sorry…we got stuck in traffic…

Lakshya: I'm sorry to…we're here now though aren't we…

Sneha: Well you should have been here before…

KT: Why what happened?

Sneha: Sujal bhaiya proposed to Kashish didi…

KT: What?...That's great news…congratulations

Lakshya: What good news?...You still have time to get away…I'm stuck with this one…believe me they're not worth ruining your life over…

KT: What???

All the girls turned towards Lakshya and they all made their way over to him.

Lakshya: Hey…why are you all coming over here…I was just joking…you don't have to trouble yourselves…hey guys you can jump in here anytime…

Angad: Sorry…you're on your own in this one…

The girls then surrounded Lakshya and then started to beat him up, while the guys stood still watching it.

Prem: Do you think we should help?

Kavya: Don't you ever get it?...We're already in enough trouble as it is…do you want to be in the same situation as Lakshya…If anything I think we're getting off lightly.

Prem: You sure can say that again…

Meanwhile later on, after the party was over, Lakshya and KT left, followed by the rest of the guys, leaving behind the girls.

Sneha: I really enjoyed the party today…it was the best ever wasn't it.

Kripa: Same here…oooooooo I cannot wait for the wedding now…

Sneha: Same here….I don't know what am I going to do….there's soooo much to do….I don't know where to begin from…

Kashish: You…can calm down…

Kashish surprised Sneha as she put her hands on her shoulders.

Sneha: Didi…I can't believe this is happening…I can't help it…I'm sooooo happy…I…I…

Anjali: Okay…okay…calm down will you…we're all tired here after the party and you and Kripa are running on fully charged batteries…

Prerna: You won't be alone with the preparations…we're all going to help, you know…there's invites and…

Kashish: Which reminds me…you can invite you know who???

Prerna: Don't even go there…It's bad enough living next door, now I have to work with him as well…

Kripa: Really…

FLASHBACK

Back at the hospital, when Prerna came face to face with Anurag.

Prerna: YOU!!!!

Dr. Shashank: Do you know him?

Anurag: Look I'm sorry…I didn't know you were standing behind me…

Dr. Shashank: Is someone going to tell me about what happened

Anurag: I…I accidentally soaked her this morning...It was an accident…

Prerna: Like the one…when I slipped on a banana peel…the one you threw…that's twice you've caused me harm…

Anurag: Not on purpose…look you're making this out to be something really big…which it isn't

Dr. Shashank couldn't stop laughing, after seeing the pair of them arguing.

Dr. Shashank: Look if you two are done arguing like a couple of kids…can we like get back to work.

Prerna sat back down, while Anurag pulled another chair and sat down as well.

Dr. Shashank: Prerna…the reason why I wanted Anurag to work with you, was because you are one of the brightest and of the best in this place…but from what I've seen…look if you two have any problems with working with each other, then please say so…Prerna…I don't want to force this on you…

Prerna: No it's okay…you've shown this much trust in me…how can I refuse…I'm sure we can work something out

Anurag: I guess so

Dr. Shashank: That's more like it…Look why don't you show Anurag around the hospital.

Prerna: Yeah why not.

Both Prerna and Anurag got up. Anurag opened the door and walked out only to see the door smack back into Prerna's face.

END OF FLASHBACK

The girls didn't know what to do or say. They just stood there in silence.

Kashish: Erm…I'm feeling a little tired, I think I'm going to go home…let's all go…I'm sure we could do with some rest.

Prerna: You girls go…I'll meet you later

Anjali: Where are you going off to now?

Prerna: I've just need to get a few things…nothing major…I won't be too long…

Prerna left before anyone could say anything.

Prerna stopped by at a caf to get some coffee to go. She had only just walked out through the door, when she saw a little child playing in the middle of the road. A car was speeding coming towards it.

Prerna: Hey!!!! Somebody…

Prerna rushed over as quickly as she could. She managed to push the kid out of the way. The car was about to hit her, when out of nowhere a guy dived in and pushed her to the side.

Prerna looked up and saw the car speeding away. The guy saw the number plate.

Prerna: HEY!!!!! YOU!!!!!!

But it was no use, the car had gone.

Person: Hey you okay?

Prerna turned around and saw a guy beside her. He got back up onto his feet and helped Prerna up.

Prerna: Was he blind or something?

Person: My guess would be that he was blind…are you okay?

Prerna: I'm alive…I think…thanks anyway for you know…

Person: Look it's okay don't mention it…

Person looked around for a bit.

Person: Were you going somewhere…I could help you if you want…

Prerna: No it's okay…I can manage

Person: Are you sure?...

Prerna smiled back at him

Prerna: Yes

The guy looked at his watch.

Person: Sorry I have to go…I'm already late as it is…

Before Prerna could say anything, the guy just left.

Meanwhile later on, Prerna went over to Garewal house, to meet up with the rest of the girls. Kashish and Anjali had gone out, while Sneha was in her room, looking out of the window, while clutching a picture of Aryan close to her chest. Kripa was stood outside her room.

Prerna: What are you doing out here?...What's wrong with Sneha?

Kripa: A broken heart that's what

Prerna: A broken heart?...What do you mean?

Kripa began telling Prerna about everything that had happened between Sneha and Aryan.

Kripa: It's her birthday and yet, she's still living in the hope that Aryan will come back to her

Prerna: Maybe he will…

Kripa: It's been a long time

Prerna just stood there staring at Sneha.

Prerna: How can anyone love someone soooo much, that they're willing to give up their entire life waiting for them.

It was then that Sneha turned around and jumped, as she saw Kripa and Prerna standing near the doorway. Aryan's photo fell down onto the ground.

Prerna walked over to Sneha, as she knelt down to pick up the photo.

Prerna: You love him a lot don't you…

Sneha: More than anything in the world…but he's…

That was when Prerna suddenly caught a glimpse of the photo.

Prerna: Is this Aryan?

Sneha: Yes

Prerna was shocked after seeing Aryan's picture.

Sneha: Didi…What's wrong?...What's happened?

Prerna: I just met him…about 10-15 minutes ago…

Sneha: What?...Are you sure? Didi…please tell me was it really him…you're not joking are you…didi if you are…then please..stop…

Sneha was asking so many questions all at once, she couldn't believe it

Prerna: Sneha…I'm not lying…I just met him…

Sneha: Didi…how was he…was he okay…where was he…please didi take me to him…

Meanwhile, the speeding car pulled up outside a big mansion. A servant opened the door.

Servant: How was the drive sir?

Person: It would have been better if it hadn't have been for that child…bloody thing made me slow down…

Another person approached the guy. It was Rishi.

Rishi: Hey bro…howz it going?

The guy turned around as he was answering a call on his phone. He looked in the car side mirror…looking at his reflection. It was Swayam!!!!!

Outside the mansion, another car pulled up. The driver rolled down the window as he watched Swayam, from a distance. It was Aryan.

Aryan: Enjoy life as much as you want…enjoy your speeding as much as you want…because now pretty soon, it will all come to an end…you won't know what hit you…you ruined one life…now it's your turn…be ready!!!!

Then Aryan drove away.
