It wasn't until at least 5 in the morning, when most of the girls had fallen asleep. Prerna and Kashish were still awake, talking to each other. Neither could go to sleep. Kashish had gone to use the bathroom to freshen up, while Prerna was still in the room. She walked up towards the window and looked up at the sky. Even though she smiled, a tear formed in her eyes.

Sneha: Didi…you okay?

Before Prerna turned around she wiped the tear from her face.

Prerna: Hey what are you doing awake?...I thought you were sleeping…

Sneha: I tried to…but I couldn't…

Prerna: Me neither

Prerna closed the curtains, as she was talking to Sneha.

Sneha: Didi…are you okay?

Prerna: I'm fine, why what's up?

Sneha: Well firstly…you were looking kind of lost when I came in here and secondaly…you've closed the curtains, even though the sun is just about to come out…

Prerna turned towards the window and realised that the sun had come out. It was starting to brighten up.

Prerna: I'm tired…in case you didn't notice…give me a break…

Sneha was kind of surprised, at the way Prerna snapped back.

Sneha: I was just asking…you didn't have to…

Prerna: Sneha…I'm sorry…I…

Prerna sat down onto the bed. Sneha sat down next to her.

Prerna: I miss my parents…Here I am partying all night…and no one here to tell me off…Just now I could hear my mum shouting…telling me off for staying up all night…you know there's nothing in the world I wouldn't do…just as long as I could hear them again…see them…hug them…

Sneha sighed, as she looked away.

Sneha: I miss mine as well.

Prerna: Oh I'm sorry…I didn't mean to…

Sneha: It's okay…don't apologise…it is okay to miss your parents you know…

Prerna looked at Sneha, as she smiled back at her.

Sneha: I miss mine as well…you know I've learned that even though they are not alive, doesn't mean they're not here. It's down to us to keep them alive in our hearts and in our minds…nothing can take that away from us.

Prerna could feel a lump forming in her throat, as she was listening to everything that Sneha was saying, as it was bringing back memories from the past.

Sneha: Sujal bhaiya has always been there for me, like a father and Anjali didi has been there for me like a mother and now there's Kashish didi as well…I also have Kripa who is more like a sister to me than a friend and I have brothers like Kavya, Prem and Angad…I have so many people caring about me…they love me to bits, but despite all of this I have never forgotten my parents, because I keep them alive in here.

Sneha pointed towards her heart.

Prerna: Yeah I know…it's just that I wish I could actually hug them.

Prerna began to cry. Sneha wiped her tears away.

Sneha: Didi…don't cry…do you think they would be happy seeing you like this…they know how much you miss them…would they want you to live in the past…no…they would want you to live in the present and the future…just because they're not around doesn't mean your world should stop…look at what you have now…you still have so many people who love you.

Sneha put her hand on Prerna's shoulder. Prerna turned around and smiled back at her.

Sneha: You've got friends like Kashish di and Anjali di and you've also got a little sister…

Prerna: Sister?

Sneha: Yes…me…am I not your little sister?

Prerna became overwhelmed, by the love and affection shown by Sneha, that she hugged her.

Kashish: Hey what's going on here?

Both Prerna and Sneha pulled away from each other. Prerna wiped her face away with the sleeve of her pyjamas as she stood up.

Kashish: You okay?

Prerna: Yeah I'm fine just feeling tired that's all

Prerna pretended to yawn, so Kashish's suspicion would die away.

Kashish: And what are you doing awake?

Sneha: I couldn't go to sleep either

Kashish: Yeah it's been a long fun night…even I can't go to sleep either…anyway I'm off downstairs to make some coffee…you want some?

Prerna: Yeah why not

Sneha: Same here…thanks

Kashish left the room and made her way downstairs. Prerna was about to follow her down, when Sneha stopped her.

Sneha: Didi…I was being serious you know…

Prerna: Sneha, I know…you don't have to say anything…little sister…thanks

Prerna winked at Sneha and then left.

A few hours later, KT, Anjali and Kripa woke up and came downstairs and joined Kashish, Prerna and Sneha, for some breakfast. Kripa walked into the kitchen, to help Prerna and Sneha.

Kripa: Didi…

Prerna: What's up Kripa?

Kripa: Thanks for the night…I really enjoyed it…thanks…

Prerna: Hey it was my pleasure and don't say thanks…

Prerna smiled back at Kripa and carried some of the breakfast on a tray and walked back into the dinning room.

After breakfast the girls had gone upstairs to change out of their PJs. All of a sudden Prerna could hear music coming from outside. She made her way over to the bedroom window and saw Anurag outside cleaning his car.

Sneha: Hey he's here…why don't you go and…

Prerna gave a look to Sneha.

Sneha: Okay…I'm sorry…I was just…

Kashish: Hey what's going on…you know you two are spending a lot of time together

Sneha: Didi…look outside the window…

Prerna: Sneha…

Sneha: I didn't say his name…

Kashish walked up to the window and looked outside.

Kashish: Hey is that him…gosh Prerna…he's soooo cute…go and talk to him

Prerna: No way…no chance…

Kashish: Well if you don't, then we will go and get the rest of the girls…and…

Prerna: ALRIGHT!!!! OKAY!!!!! OOOOOOOO!!!!!! I SOOOOO HATE YOU GUYS!!!! If it shuts you two up then I will go…HAPPY!!!!!

Prerna then stormed off out of the room and made her way out of the house, while Sneha and Kashish called Anjali, KT and Kripa into the room, so they could watch it all from the upstairs window. Prerna had calmed down by the time she left the house and was making her way over to Anurag.

Prerna: Excuse me…Anurag…hell-lo

But Anurag was too busy moving to the music while he was holding the hose pipe, showering water all over the car.

Prerna: HELL-LO! ANURAG!

Still Anurag didn't hear. So Prerna walked up towards Anurag and tapped him on his shoulder. Anurag jumped and instantly turned around. He still had the hose pipe in his hand. The girls were left gob smacked, after they saw what had happened. Kashish and Anjali burst out laughing. Kripa and Sneha both covered their mouths, to stop them from laughing out loud. Anurag had accidentally showered Prerna with the water from the hose pipe. She was absolutely soaked from head to toe. Water was dripping from strands of her hair. She was just standing there rooted to the ground. Anurag couldn't even believe it himself. It was just an accident after all.

Anurag: OMG! I'm sooo….

Prerna didn't let him finish or say anything herself. Instead she just turned around and made her way back into the house.

Anurag: I am really really sorry…I…I…

The girls had stopped laughing as they watched Prerna slowly make her way up the stairs. She walked past them without saying anything and made her way into her bedroom and locked the door.

Anjali: Erm…okay…I think the least said the better, so no one says anything to her is that understood.

All the girls agreed. They all made their way to different directions of the house.

Eventually Prerna came out of her room, she managed to dry herself off. After changing her clothes, she picked up her handbag and car keys and then made her way out of the house. Not once did she say anything to the girls.

Sneha looked really worried as it was her idea, which caused this.

Kashish: Don't worry about it…she'll have calmed down by the time she comes back from work.

Sneha: I hope so…

Kashish: Don't worry Sneha…come on I might as well drop you off on my way to work.

Anjali left with KT, while Sneha and Kripa left with Kashish.

Meanwhile later on, at the hospital, Prerna was called into the main office.

Dr Shashank: Hello Prerna, do come in

Prerna: You called me?

Dr Shashank: Yes I did…please sit…

Prerna sat down in the chair in front of her.

Dr Shashank: Prerna, my nephew will be working here…today will be his first day.

Prerna: Oh really…That's great…I know what you want to say…Don't worry I'll keep an eye on him

Dr Shashank: Thank you Prerna…I know I can always count on you…He should be arriving anytime now.

Prerna: By the way…what's his name?

Dr Shashank: His name is….

Dr Shashank looked up.

Dr Shashank: Oh here he is…

Prerna stood up and turned around. The smile on her face faded.

Prerna: YOU!!!!

It was none other than Anurag. Prerna just stood there, pointing her finger at Anurag.

Meanwhile, at Garewal Industries, Sujal and Kavya were discussing about an upcoming important meeting, when all of a sudden there was a knock on the door.

Sujal: Yes…come in

Kashish opened the door and walked in. Sujal looked at the clock and then at Kashish.

Sujal: What time do you call this?...You're late

Kashish was surprised at Sujal's reaction.

Kashish: I'm only 5 minutes late…I had to drop off Kripa and Sneha at home…

Sujal: And?...You should have dropped them off earlier…

Kashish couldn't understand that why Sujal was reacting like this. What ever the reason was…she simply didn't like it.

Kavya was stuck in the middle, as he was watching both of them.

Kavya: I think I'll come back later

He then got up and left, before Sujal could say anything.

Kashish watched Kavya leave and close the door behind him. Then all of a sudden Sujal wrapped his arms around her.

Kashish: What are you doing? Don't forget I'm late…I've got work to do

Kashish broke free from Sujal's grip and was about to walk out, when Sujal grabbed her hand.

Sujal: Hey I was just messing around…don't take it seriously…

Kashish wasn't pleased. She didn't find it funny at all, instead she was angry at Sujal for scolding her like the way he did.

Sujal: You angry or something…look I'm sorry I shouldn't have scolded you like that.

Kashish turned around to see Sujal holding both of his ears.

Kashish: This is an office SIR…I'm here to work…nothing else…

Sujal smiled at Kashish.

Sujal: If that is true…then you can't leave this room…

Kashish: Excuse me?

Sujal: I'm your boss…meaning you can't leave till I finish talking to you

Kashish: Oh really…

Sujal: Yes really…now can you come over here and sit down

Kashish turned away from Sujal, just so she could make him suffer a little bit more. But Sujal approached her from behind putting his arms around her.

Sujal: I'm sorry…at least forgive me now…have pity on a wounded person…

Kashish: Wounded?...Who?

Sujal: Me that's who

Kashish: So let me get this straight…you scolded me like a little kid and you're the one who is wounded???

Sujal rested his head on her shoulder, while he had his arms around her waist.

Sujal: I said I'm sorry…It's just that I missed you…first you girls threw us out and then I tried phoning you all night and you didn't even bother answering the phone…what else was I meant to do…I was just missing you…

Kashish turned around.

Kashish: So this is your way of missing me?

Sujal: No this is…

Sujal then kissed her. Kashish blushed, she freed herself from Sujal's grip and headed out of the door. Sujal went after her, but then stopped as he watched Kashish make her way over to Neha,

Sujal: I'm not going to give up that easily

Sujal then went back inside and picked up the phone.

Sujal: Neha, can you send Kashish in with the New Project file?

Neha: Okay sir…

Sujal clapped his hands as he sat back onto his chair.

Sujal: Try as hard as you can Kashish…you can't get away from me…

There was a knock on the door. Instead of saying come in, Sujal made his way over to the door and opened it slightly. He then reached out for the folder, but then quickly grabbed Kashish's hand and dragged her back inside. Only it wasn't Kashish, it was Neha. Sujal fell backwards with Neha on top of him.

Sujal: Neha…you…what are you doing here?

Neha: Sir…I just came to give you the file…and you…you…

Sujal managed to get back onto his feet and then he helped Neha to her feet.

He was soooo embarrassed after what had just happened. He couldn't understand what had just happened.

Sujal: Neha…I am so sorry…really…I don't know what I was thinking…I asked you to send Kashish in...

Neha: She told me that she was busy with other things, so she asked me to bring it to you...

Kashish: Ahem…Ahem…

Both Sujal and Neha turned around to see Kashish standing in the door way, with some files.

Kashish: Sir…I need you to sign these files…they're urgent…

Sujal couldn't wait to get his hands on Kashish. He was soooo embarrassed because of her. But because Neha was there, he couldn't do anything.

Sujal: Hey that's not funny…You can leave the files here…I'll sign them later on and bring them to you personally…

Kashish: No need…just give them to Neha

Neha: Look I think I'll leave you two to deal with this…

Sujal: Yes Neha…can you leave please? I will call you later on…the next time I ask you to send someone in, make sure you send them in...In fact on second thought…forget it… I'm off out…

Kashish: Sujal?

Sujal then left, with out saying anything else. Neha also was about to leave as well, but then Kashish stopped her.

Kashish: Neha, please don't mind about what happened and what Sujal just said…I'm sorry…I shouldn't have…

Neha: Kashish…relax…I know…I honestly didn't mind what Sujal sir said…I know he didn't mean it…He's a good person at heart…I owe everything to him…

Kashish: Really…

Neha: He saved my father's life…

Kashish: Sujal did?

Kashish sounded surprised.

Neha: My father had a heart attack…I had no way of getting him to the hospital, luckily Sujal sir was nearby, when I was trying to stop a car for help…not only did he help me get my father to hospital…he even paid all expenses…he even gave me time off from work, just so I could help my mother out while she was taking care of my father…I'm telling you Kashish if it hadn't have been for Sujal sir…my dad wouldn't have been alive now…so you see that's…that's why I owe my life to him.

Neha then left the room, leaving Kashish on her own in the room.

Later on in the evening Kripa and Sneha were sat upstairs in the bedroom. Kripa was sat down reading a book, while Sneha was doing a bit of tidying up.

Sneha: Hey we sure did enjoy last night…

Kripa: Yeah we sure did...shame about what happened to Prerna didi…it was kinda funny though…

Sneha: Yeah…I just hope she understands we were just playing around and she doesn't take it seriously

Kripa: I'm sure she'll understand don't worry about it.

But then there conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door. The girls turned around to see Angad standing outside the room.Both girls then looked at each other.

Angad: Erm…I was just passing by…thought I'd pop in to see how Kripa was feeling now

Kripa: I'm feeling fine now…thanks for asking

There was a brief moment of awkwardness, as both Kripa and Angad were staring at each other, while Sneha was stuck in the middle. She tried to sneak out of the room.

Kripa: Hey where are you going?

Sneha: I'll be back in a minute

Sneha left the room pretty quicky, but she stayed just outside the room, so she could hear their conversation.

There was another moment of awkwardness. Neither Kripa or Angad said anything to each other for some time.

Sneha: Oh come on…one of you say something

Angad: So how did the party go last night?

Sneha: It's about bloody time...at least one of you started it

Kripa: It went great…we really enjoyed it…erm…what did you do last night…

Sneha: Oh come on Kripa…is that the best you can do?

Angad: Nothing much, just came home and watched a bit of TV, then went to bed…so nothing much…

Sneha: Way to go Angad…you sure are a professional in conversations…what an idiot? There pair of them are such fools.

Kripa: Angad…I didn't get a chance to thank you for saving me yesterday…

Angad: Don't mention it…I only did what was right

Sneha: Well you're not doing what's right now…tell her you love her or Kripa you tell him how much you love him

Once again neither said anything to the other. At one point Angad looked at his watch and then got up.

Angad: I have to go now...I'll see you later

Kripa: Angad wait…

Angad stopped and turned around.

Kripa: When you went after Rishi…I thought you were going to kill him…I mean I've never seen you soooo angry and all because of what he did to me…

Sneha: Oh it's about bloody time…come on now Kripa…don't blow it…

Angad: Like I said I did what I did because it was the right thing to do…nothing more…nothing less

Kripa: Is that the only reason?

Angad: What other reason could there be?

Sneha: BECAUSE YOU LOVE HER FOR GOD'S SAKE

Both Angad and Kripa turned around to see Sneha standing behind them.

Sneha: I've just about had it with both of you…YOU LOVE HER AND SHE LOVES YOU…THERE NOW BOTH OF YOU KNOW IT.

Then Sneha stormed off out of the room, leaving both Angad and Kripa alone. Both were feeling really awkward. Kripa's heart was pounding faster than ever, while Angad was starting to get a little sweaty. Both just stared at each other. They simply couldn't believe what Sneha had just told them, both were in love with each other and yet they were unaware of it, living their lives by the one question, wondering if the other would accept their love. But now they knew the truth, but still neither could say anything.

Sneha: I'm not hearing anything…do I have to do everything around here…

Sneha came back in and grabbed Angad's arms and put them around Kripa and pulled her closer to him. Sneha then walked away.

Sneha: They don't even know how to express their love…idiots…

Then Sneha left them alone completely as she made her way downstairs.

Both Angad and Kripa stared at each other and then smiled, as they both hugged each other. Then Kripa noticed a shooting star from the corner of her eye.

Kripa: Hey it's a shooting star…

Angad: Shooting star?

Kripa: Yes…if you make a wish it will come true…

Immediately she rushed over to the window and closed her eyes. Angad kept his eyes open as he watched Kripa standing there. He just admired her innocence and beauty, not even once did he look away. Then Kripa opened her eyes and then turned towards Angad. He smiled at her.

Kripa: Didn't you make a wish?

Angad: No need…

Angad walked away and then stopped.

Angad: You already came true…
