Arrangements started in full swing five days before godhharai for Kripa. Angad designed the whole function. He directed the mandap in the center of the hall with multi colored drapers hanging as looped one and another from all sides. Multi-colored balloons were hanged tied in a row all around the walls and pillar posts, ceiling, stairs. Music band was arranged at a corner. The whole garden was decorated with multi-colored twinkle lights.
Naina ordered new furniture, changed the whole interior decoration. She bought a long haar with navaratans with same design bangles for Kripa as her gift. She bought a heavy work silk sari in dark blue and nice matching mermaid lehenga with alter neck blouse for Sur. Sur was in seventh heaven imagining her baby brother and giving instructions to Angad for decorations as her share of choice.
Dadi was busy with arrangements for her share of pujas, havans in the morning on that day. Gayatri and Anittah helped Naina with everything. Dilip decorated his office also and invited all of his employees.
Kripa was feeling like dreaming for the affection and attention she was getting from everyone. Naina personally decorated Kripa and brought into the mandap. She was totally excited for the whole function as her dream came true. As Dilip said she could show her happiness to all her friends now.
Naina arranged the hair styles, mehendi designers, at home for Kripa's convenience. Gayatri came early morning for the function. Dadi made arrangements in prayer room. Kripa wore the diamond set that Angad bought for her on this occasion. She wore peach color with green border kanchi silk sari.
Angad wore gold color sherwani and looking equally handsome with Kripa. He took his share of passionate love before he allowed Kripa to go for puja. Kripa grinned for his affectionate love and walked into prayer room. After an hour puja Kripa and Sur took nap for an hour.
Around four Kripa got ready for the evening godhbharai function. Sur got ready by Kripa and went downstairs to receive guests along with Naina. Naina stood proudly with Sur and receiving guests.
Kripa was getting ready with Naina's choice of dressing. She was checking herself in the mirror when Angad entered the room to change his dress. Kripa smiled when he reached her. He kissed her forehead "gorgeous." She smiled and bent to take his blessings. He stopped "yeh kya hai?" she caressed his cheeks "taking blessings from husband. Just as tradition to have husband's blessings too before all."
He giggled 'har husband ko main nahin jaanta magar iss husband sey tum kisses mango blessings nahin." She pouted pretended angry "kyon blessings nahin dogey? Kisses ke saat saat blessings bhi detey raho, ki mein humesha tumhara saat hi rahoon aur jindagi bhar tumhara pyar milti rahey."
Angad pulled her close "I promise my kisses meant your blesses only." She circled her hands around his neck "jaldi taiyyar hojao, guests aatey hongey." He shook his head and kissed her neck "are you happy?" She shook her head and hid her face in his neck "I'm so lucky to get all your affections. Mom bi bahut kush hai." Angad groaned agreeing with her and lost in her embrace.
Gayatri's call brought them into this world and set themselves right. Angad walked into bathroom after giving soft kiss on Kripa's lips. She checked herself once again and walked down with Gayatri.
Naina, and some old women of her club friends started the ceremony religiously when Gayatri first gave her gifts along with haldi kumkum, sweets, sari to Kripa. Dadi also blessed Kripa with a pair of kangans. Everyone blessed Kripa and some women started singing traditional godhbharai songs.
The band arranged by Angad playing latest filmi godhbharai songs. Everyone started enjoying the function with group discussions, chit-chats, having appetites, beverages settling in comfortable corners.
Everyone appreciated his love and affection through his arrangements and praised Kripa for having him in her love. Gayatri and Suryaban felt they were so lucky to see their daughter settled with an affectionate and lovable husband in her life.
While everyone was having dinner Prithvi came with a big bouquet and wished Kripa. Kripa was shocked for his entry and looked at Angad with doubt. Angad tried to avoid her looks and took Prithvi to meet some of his colleagues. Kripa walked to Suryaban 'yeh kya hai papa! Prithvi humarey company sey gaya nahin? Issey yahan kisney bulaya?" Suryaban sincerely replied as if he didn't know anything. She walked to Naina to clear her doubts. Naina also worried 'mujhey pata nahin, Kripa! Mein to soch rahi thi ki tum aur Angad ney ussey bulaya hoga. Mein Damini ko toh invitation di thi magar unhoney saaf inkaar kardi thi."
Kripa didn't get any chance to ask Angad about Prithvi's attendance. She directly asked Prithvi when he walked to her with Sur in her arms. "I'm sorry, Prithvi! If I were wrong, I apologise for it but I want to know who invited you here." Prithvi startled and covered himself immediately "kyon, Kripa! You don't like to see me here? I invited you, but you refused my invitation. I sincerely wanted to build up some rapport from you. Don't you see any change in me? I'm changed, Kripa! Please forget everything happened between us. I just wanted to forget it also. Let's be friends for genuine reason." Kripa stopped him reluctantly "I don't see any necessity of recouping our relation, Prithvi! I don't need you in my life in any form. Angad might have invited you for curtsey but please stop this relations here itself. Stay in your world away from me."
Prithvi's face reflected the disappointment clearly as he left Sur with Kripa. Kripa noticed Angad enjoying with his employees where Prithvi also participated. She tried to talk to Angad but couldn't do much about it.
Kripa tired and most of the guests took leave from Khannas. Angad was still hanging around with some of his friends and employees and Prithvi too. Kripa retired and slept along with Sur after refreshing themselves. Kripa left a note for Angad before going to bed "Why did you invite Prithvi?"
Angad came into the room around 1 after winding everything in the party place. Kripa and Sur occupied most of the bed and he smiled affectionately at them. He took a quick shower and changed into pajamas. While combing his hair he saw Kripa's note stuck on the mirror. He read and smiled at her. He walked around the bed and softly kissed her lips. He checked where he could accommodate himself on the bed and twisted his lips as he has no place to lay himself. He walked to the couch and slept in no time as he tired since five days with the arrangements..
Morning Kripa went to drop Sur in the school before Angad woke up. He left for work before she reached home. He called Kripa several times on mobile but she didn't answer him. Angad realised her anger and decided to pacify her in the evening. He stuck with some important meetings till 9 and came home late after having dinner outside with his customers.
This went for two days and Angad and Kripa couldn't talk on subject. Kripa went to her parent's house without telling Angad when Sur got three days holidays from school. Naina went to Anittah's house to help her for these days as she has no more responsibility of Kripa. Dadi went to south India tour to visit the pilgrimage.
Angad felt alone in the house and called Kripa from his office. Kripa atlast answered his call in the evening around 4. "Kripa! What is this? bina batay tum maayka gayi, maa Anittah ke paas, Dadi south tour, yeh sab achanak kya ho raha hai? When are you coming back. Aakhir gayi kyon?"
Kripa rolled her eyes with anger and spilled it in her voice too "tumhara kaam sey aur naya friends sey fursat miley toh bataoongi na? Sur ko three days holidays tha aur maa bhi aaney ko pooch rahi thi. Acutally I thought to come here immediately after godhbharai but mom stopped me to take rest for two days. Aur baaki sab ka plans apney marzi par hai. Ussi sey hi pooch lena."
Angad felt the cold reply and realized the sarcasm in Kripa's voice "who are the new friends? And I was busy with work as I was out of work for last week because of your godhbharai." Kripa interrupted him "it's okey, Angad! tum tumhara kaam sambhalo aur mein yahan araam leloongi. Phir delivery ke liye toh yahin aana tha. Delivery ke baad wapas aajaaoongi. Sur school yahin sey jaayegi."Angad shocked for her decision "WHAT? Another two months? NOWAY. I cannot live without you for a moment, and you are talking about two months? You are planning to stay till delivery? Kya huva hai tujhey?"
Kripa kept silent whether to raise Prithvi's topic and Angad understood her silence. He realized he didn't reply her note yet. "I just invited Prithvi for curtsey and he came to keep my respect. Ismein galati kya hai? He is genuinely changed. I can feel it. Ek baar ghar aagay toh kya hojaata hai? Uska apna pariwar hai aur tumhey protect karney ke liye mein hoon. Phir darr kis baat ki?"
Kripa reverted "darr nahin, hatred. I don't want to see his face in my life. Tujhey kya pata mein kaisi pal gujri thi uskey saat? I don't want to remember any of those. I don't want him in my life even for a moment. Aur mujhey batay bina ussey invite karna mujhey theek baat nahin lagi."
Angad sighed "okey, I don't keep any relations with him, okey? Kush? Abb batao kabb aarahi hai?"
Kripa "I din't change my mind." Angad startled "Kripa! I swear, I don't keep any relations with him. Iski itna bada saza mut do." Kripa tried to stop her smile "saza nahin, Sur ke liye aayi hoon. Let her have sometime with mama papa. I will come after a week. Okey?" Angad disappointed as he expected her comes back immediately "kya mein tumhari paas aasakta hoon?" Kripa laughed "why not? I'll be waiting for you." Angad gave a kiss to her through phone and decided to reach Sarma's home for dinner.
Angad got another urgent call from the previous project where Prithvi and he were replaced. The project was running problems with current project managers and Dilip requested to look into the matter. Prithvi also ascertained from other side and both got to deal with the problem. Angad called Kripa for his urgent work without telling about Prithvi and cancel his visit to her parent's house.
Meanwhile Kripa went for shopping around 6 with Gayatri and Sur stayed home with Suryaban. Harshini called Kripa from behind while she was paying her bills in a boutique shop. Kripa surprised and greeted her for her son. Harshini didn't reciprocate and frowned with anguish. Kripa looked at Gayatri as she felt something wrong. Gayatri walked both of them to a canteen area inside the mall where not much people around them.
"Harshini! Kya huva, why are you so angry?" Harshini filled tears "aunty! Jo beeta wo bhuljana hi acha hai. Kripa abb Prithvi ke jindagi mein na rahi aur mein bahut kush thi Prithvi ke saat. Magar pata nahin kaun kisko instigate kar raha hai, abb Prithvi iski peechey pada hai." She turned to Kripa "All the time he talks about you and Sur, as if he shared very beautiful moments with you. Such kya hai mein jaanti hoon. Why are you coming back into his life?"
Kripa got angry "mein Prithvi ko instigate kar rahi hoon? Who said that? Why are you blaming me after you know what Prithvi did to me? He only started talking to me. Haan, I greeted you first when I saw you pregnant, but I don't have any plans to recoup any relationships with you people."
Harshini sniffed, "Why Angad has to entertain Prithvi? Why he brought him into his project? Kya humdardi jatana chahta hai? Wo pehley uski mangetar ko cheena aur abb uski jindagi sey mujhey bhi nikalna chahta hai? Why does he trying to built relationship between Prithvi and you?"
Kripa was startled for her accuse as stand still untill she finished spilling her anger and left them dumbstruck. Gayatri brought Kripa home and advised to talk to Angad before taking any decision. Kripa didn't respond Angad's phone in the night and gave instructions to her parents not to bother her when Angad calls. Suryaban asked for the explanations when Angad called in the morning at breakfast time. Angad was surprised for sudden change and promised to meet them in the evening. He tried several times from office to speak with Kripa but Kripa refused to come on line.
Angad finished his hectic schedule and went to Sarma house in the night around 10. Kripa was reading a book for Sur before bed time. Suryaban welcomed Angad and Gayatri served food for him. Kripa didn't bother to greet him anytime. Angad heard the whole incident from Gayatri and assured them to take care of things well.
He walked into Kripa's bedroom after dinner. Kripa gave a look at him and Sur waved her hand as she was immersed in reading the story along with Kripa. Angad tried to distract Kripa but she didn't encourage him anytime. Angad loosened his shirt and lay besides her facing opposite side near her feet. He softly caressed her feet with his forefinger while Kripa was seriously reading the story. She gave sharp looks at him and moved her feet away from him. He turned face down and looked mischievously at her. He blew air on her feet and Kripa realized Sur distracted from story reading. She covered Sur's face with the book as she could focus on the story. Angad smiled at Kripa's reaction and wet her little toe with his lips. Kripa curled her toes but didn't move her feet as not to distract Sur. He wet her toes with his tongue and lips slowly one by one which made Kripa gasp silently. She folded her legs and asked Sur to go to bed.
At the same time Gayatri came to take Sur to her room. Angad got up as soon as he saw her entering the room. Angad confirmed her leaving the room and slowly locked the door behind Gayatri and Sur wishing 'goodnight' to Sur. He winked at Kripa who was watching him with open mouth. She blushed but pretended anger and turned her face otherside. He removed his shirt and under vest and lay beside her.
She gave sharp looks at him though her eyes admiring his broad bare chest.
Angad noticed the blush in her cheeks and cupped her cheeks in his left hand as dropping his right hand around her shoulders. "door nahin rehjaati hai phir bhi koshish karti ho?" she became red at his touch and lowered her eyes to stop tears in her eyes. He lifted her face and kissed her eyelids. "I thought you should have no anguish, hatred in your mind when you are in pregnancy. That's the reason I tried to bring you both in good terms. But I didn't realize Harshini also getting insecure along with your anger. I hurt two women at the same time thinking about Prithvi. I will talk to him to keep the distance forever. I will ask him to leave our company, this project too. I will do something seriously this time.okey?"
Kripa interrupted "he is not worth getting such attention, Angad! I don't want to have any kind of relation with his whole family. I thought atleast Harshini understands him." Angad shook his head and wiped her tears. She smiled and leaned on him caressing his bare chest. He groaned happily and slid down to give her more chance to caress him. She smiled and rubbed his chest and kissed his chin and lips. She moved her lips before he intensify his passion "Sur ki saamney yeh kya mischief tha?" she caressed her feet with his. He rolled partly on her "you should have sent her immediately after seeing me. I don't want to wait until you finish reading the whole book. Waisey bhi, your toes are as soft as your lips. I don't know how I forgot to love them."
She blushed and pressed his head to her chest. He slowly removed her kurta and kissed her bare stomach. "it's already a week, I couldn't speak to my son." She smiled and allowed him to pamper his son as she was slowly stroking his hair. She slept before he finished his pampering her. He kissed her lips and cheeks without disturbing her much. He held her in his arms whole night and had nice sleep after a week hard separation.
