Tears are rolling down from Angad's eyes.
He went to a bar straight from Kripa's house and spent his night till 1. He walked straight into his room without having dinner. Anittah understood his status and didn't disturb him. Song from neighboring apartment or somewhere was increasing his pain. He was remembering his days with Kripa, her first meeting, his passion for her, his obsession to have her, their first intimate moment, her return after four years, Sur, everything making him cry more. He was recollecting past and remembering every moment so far, thinking and suspecting Naina might be the cause of the present situation.
Next morning at 7, Anittah gave coffee to Angad as he walked into dining area, and asked hesitantly after watching his red swollen eyes "yeh kya hai bhaiyya? Kya huva tha Kripa ki ghar mein? Wo log puja mein aye kyon nahin? Kuch huva tha kya humarey ghar mein? Kissi ne,… mama ney kuch kahan Kripa ko?"
Angad filled his eyes with tears "Pata nahin, shayad mama ney hi kuch kiya hoga. Wo mujhsey baat kiye tab toh samajh mein aati. Sarmaji ney kahan divorce honey tak wo humsey door rehna chahtey hai. Mein bhi kahan ussey force kar raha tha? Baat karney sey bhi darti hai. Pata nahin kiss janam ki paap bhugat raha hoon. I have everything but failing to own my love. Ek mahina guzarna bhi itna mushkil ho raha hai."
Anittah pressed his shoulders "Don't worry bhai! I will talk to Kripa. Mein uski ghar jaaoongi aur ussey convince karungi. She will be alright, I have confidence. Tum aisi muh phulakey mat bhaito. I can't see you like this. Please."
Angad took her hand in his and kissed "ThanQ Anittah! I'm really obliged to you. I wish every brother has a sister like you."
Anittah smiled and relieved after seeing Angad talking normal.
Other hand, Kripa was seriously searching classifieds while having her first coffee. Gayatri noticed but didn't want to stop her now. They had decided to support their daughter in every step now onwards. Suryaban asked if he could try a job for her in Khanna industries. Kripa warned him as she didn't want to depend on Khannas at this moment. She didn't want Angad to know about her job search. If he knew he never allows her to do job, she was sure about this. She took a quick shower and hit the road to attend some walk-in interviews.
She was tired by evening after attending four interviews spread in four corners of the city. She skipped her regular lunch except grabbing a light sandwich as she had no time for anything else. She realised she had a drawback of no proper education. She discontinued her graduation due to her marriage. She could never pursue studies further as her life drawn to downfall. Now for every small job, atleast a graduation degree was required. She felt like cry loudly but she couldn't do as she stood in a bus stop.
Suryaban yelled at her after seeing her fallen face. "Kyon apni aap ko itna punishment de rahi hai? Jab tak mein jinda hoon tab tak tumhey fikar karney ki koyi jaroorat nahin. We are living for you and whatever we earn everything is for you only. Humey aur koyi aulad bhi nahin hai. Abb chahey toh padhayi shuru karo aur ek degree hasil karo. Then if your life still stays the same you can go for a job. Let's hope good for you after this case." He sounded positive approach in her life. Gayatri seconded his opinion. Kripa felt ashamed to depend on her parents at this age and cursed herself for taking wrong decisions in wrong time. She had decided to go on Suryaban's opinion as she had left with no other option.
Next day Kripa went out to get some applications for distance education. She walked into a restaurant to have some snack after getting the applications. She was waiting for her order to come and took a seat in a corner. She felt someone gazing at her while she was going through her application. She lifted her head and saw Angad standing near her table. She stood unintentionally thinking "yeh yahan kya kar raha hai?" Nishant came behind him with two plates of mirchi baaji and bhel puri. "Hai, Kripa! Tum yahan? How are you doing?" Nishant noticed the tight tension between them and initiated for conversation.
Kripa smiled for curtsey and "just came on an important work" she tried to hide her application and put in the envelope. Angad's eyes fell on it and pulled from her hand authoritatively without taking any permission from her. Nishant was watching them silently after seating in his chair "Kripa! Hope you don't mind us sharing the table, bahut bheed hai yahan." Kripa smiled reluctantly and giving side glance to Angad and seated back in her chair. Angad took his chair "So, you pursuing your studies now? Good, keep yourself busy. Sur kaisi hai?" he was sulking inside as Kripa was not responding his phone call since two days. Kripa rubbed her back of ear and bit her inside wall of mouth. Both locked their looks and trying to study each other's feelings. Angad felt a strong urge to elope her from there. Kripa was thinking for ways to escape from the scene.
Angad stretched his legs to lock her legs and Kripa tried to release them but failed coz of his strong grip. She didn't want to struggle hard as Nishant was also there. But Nishant noticed them and thought of giving some privacy to them. He settled his throat and brought the two into the world. Both lowered their eyes after swallowing but were stealing glances from each other. Nishant smiled at them "Yeh donon toh gaye kaam sey," he thought and excused himself "tum log batein karo aur mein abhi aaye."
As soon as Nishant left Kripa ordered Angad under teeth "chodo meri paaon. What is this nonsense?"
Angad sarcastically smiled at her "nonsense!! Wohi mein poochna chahta toh? Why are you trying to avoid me? You know I'm not going to leave you anytime. Koyi tumsey kuch kahay aur punishment mujhey miley? If I did anything wrong let me know it. Yeh khamoshi ka kya matlab hai? Why are you doing this to me? Aur yeh application ki kya matlab hai? Now, you are thinking of studying? Padhkey kya karogi? Job? Kyon mein jinda hoon na? Why are you doing this? I want to know the answer dam* it!" he pressed her right wrist with his left hand. Kripa frowned "Angad! You are hurting me."
"Not more than you!" he held her other hand with his right. "Batao, kya bat huva tha? Did mom say anything to you? Or anyone else? Sur sey bhi baat nahin kar paa raha hoon. Aakhir ho kya raha hai?"
"I don't want to keep any relation until I cut off my relation with my existing one. I want to live on my own. Waisey bhi I don't have to give any explanations to you about my life. Tum kaun hotay ho mujhey poochney wala?" she tried to release her hands but Angad tightened his grip.
"Phir sey kahon, mein kaun hota hoon? Poocho apney dil se, samajh mein ayega main kaun hoon. I have every right to know about you now. Jab tak tum tumhara pati ke saat tha wo mera jimmedari nahin tha, mein waisa samajhta tha coz I thought you were happily settled in your life. But now I want to know everything about you and Sur. I feel it's my right and responsibility."
"Sur ki responsibility tumhey leney ki koyi jaroorat nahin hai. I'm alive to take care of her. Waisey bhi wo meri beti hai. Unless I tell, you don't even know about her." Kripa bluntly answered him.
Angad shocked at her regressive reply and released her hands. His eyes moistened and realized someone strongly had hurt her. Kripa noticed his eyes wet and lowered her eyes trying to stop her tears at the corner of eyes. Angad clinched his teeth and wiped his tears by rubbing his face with his palms. He hid his face in his palms for a second and heaved his sigh out removing his hands from face.
"So, kisney poocha Sur ki paternity ki proof ko?" his voice cracked as he couldn't digest the hurt feeling in Kripa. He pressed kripa's hand "Learn to value me and ignore others." She pulled her hand from his and turned her face away to hide her tears. Angad's thought went on Naina and he instantly decided to settle scores with her. He got up and walked out without saying any more. Kripa wiped her tears gasping her heave. Angad turned back to see her wiping tears and promised in his mind to look into matter.
Nishant who was observing them from far approached Kripa after confirming Angad's exit. He settled his throat to bring Kripa into his attention. "So, what's going on, Kripa? Your divorce was filed and you might get them within a week, as per Kanan's information, but still I see sorrow in your eyes.. Now, what was the problem between you both? Why did Angad leave in anger? Was there anything I could help you in your matter?" Kripa kept silent and turned her face. Nishant pushed the plates in front of her "do you need any job?"
Kripa looked into his eyes with tearful and hopeful eyes. Nishant smiled and started eating his share of snack. Kripa also got her order and both shared them. He explained about a small job in his office. Kripa thanked him and promised to join immediately. Nishant gave the address to contact and dropped her home.
He immediately called Angad and asked for the situation and noticed the tension because of Angad's family. He informed about Kripa's job and advised not to bother her till she gets her divorce "She loves you a lot but give her some space to decide her priorities. Take her home with dignity. For this you have to wait till she gets relief from Prithvi. Let her do this job and get some relief."
Angad reassured Nishant for keeping distance from Kripa and drove to Khanna house.
