Mrs.Angad Khanna...
Today was wednesday, and offically there were two days until the marriage. Kripa pushed the covers off of herself, and got up to take a shower. Jason was suppose to be here, but his final exam's before he was appointed to his job as a substitute doctor, were going on at the time, and so he couldnt make it.She was really mad at first, but then she knew that this was a once in an life time oppurtunity, and she couldnt let him blow it for her. Today she had to pick up her wedding dress, and go shopping with Emma. Oh and Emma had finally told her what it was she wanted to tell her. Emma was in love. Her own Emma, she had met him at the exhibit of Modern Arts. His name was Sean Brown. He was a lawyer. Made sense. Actually he had been a lawyer for over 3 years now, and hasn't lost one case. She still had to meet him, but Emma told her to wait until she was married, herself, and Kripa had agreed without hesitating once, she was already so busy, with all the different dinners, she had to go with Angad. They came home everynight at around 12, and the whole time she was there she would go bored out of her wits, the people there never talked about anything besides, profit, deals, and what not. She dried her hair, and slipped into a nice spring dress, even though it was late november, and it was raining outside.
She walked into the kitchen preparing some quick toast and coffee while she went to the living room, to wait for Emma's call. It had been fifteen minutes, why wasn't she here? Ok only fifteen minutes, but she had waited 2 whole weeks to see her bridal dress, she couldn't wait any longer, it was being made according to her by the top designers of the city, and she couldnt wait to see how it had turned out. She snapped out of her thoughts, when she heard her phone ring." Hello?...yeah..ok" with that she hung up, and walked out into the patio. It had been Emma, she told her to come outside, as she was only minutes away.
On their way towards the warehouse, Kripa and Emma talked, about many things, they had missed talking like this. It had been days. They had met everyday, but it was at those stinky parties. Emma was with Jay or sometimes with Sean, and Kripa was with Angad. They barely even met at the events.
"Has he told you he loves you yet?" Kripa asked, turning the music down." Yea, he told me the night, after the Abraham's dinner party." "Oh, really. That was the night me and Angad couldnt make it." "Yea I Know, it was awesome, he took me to the beach, and told me the three beautiful words there" she smiled, just telling her about it."Are you sure its love, I mean you guys havent known eachother for more than a month." Kripa chill, I know him, he's really sweet. You could say it was love at first sight, and its not like were getting married or something, were still going to get to know eachother." Kripa sighed observing her friends state. "So, how's life being engaged to the great Angad Khanna" Emma asked, kind of with a naughty tone" Dull, boring and all the other words that go accoring to those, we dont love eachother, it cant be much exciting, and plus the only time's we meat, are at those stupid social events, we cant even talk to eachother an behave like friends." "I see, but it might feel something, afterall he is such a charmer" " That it is" Kripa smiled, and laughed along with her friend.

They had gone shopping, Emma had brought herself a dress for the wedding, and Kripa had picked up her's. It was indeed beautifulm it was hot pink, it had silver and gold, design's on it. They werent sown on, they were attached very nicely so they would come off. There was a part on the dress were there wasn't embroidery except the blouse, which was a plain, blouse, but with proper fabric. It went nicely against her curves and the back of the dress was held up with one ribbon, that was in many complicated hoops and turns, the lengha was gorgeous, and the duppata was the high-light of the whole dress.

Tomorrow was the wedding day, everyone was going crazy. Deciding what they were going to wear, what other's were going to wear, so it would look nice all together. Angad's parents had been over, throughout the whole day, and even yesterday and somewhat even the day before. They had all been going crazy. She had met Piya also the other day, for some reason she hadn't seemed to fond of her brother getting married, or the person he was getting married to. But she let the feeling pass. Otherwise she seemed like a bright girl. Emma was going to sleep over tonight. since tomorrow morning they would leave for the beautician appointment in the morning, straight away together. Emma had helped her out alot, she didn't know what or where she'd be if she didnt have her.Now they were sitting in her bedroom, sipping on cold iced tea, talking about tomorrow.
"So, tomorrow is the big day" Emma remarked while taking a sip out of her iced tea and getting comfortable.sitting infront of Kripa.
"Yup" Kripa had more to think about, besides the fact she was getting married, it wasn't like she had loved Angad. It was a comprimise for the sake of their parents happiness. yea she told her self it was a comprimise, from both ways.
"You dont seem too excited for a soon-to-be bride" Emma noticed her pale face
"Are you alright Kripa, I mean I know you dont want to go through this, but you didnt listen to me, when I told you, not to do this, and you definetly cant back out now"
"Yeah, I know Emma, its just that Im..Im scared" with that the first tear from her eye escaped
Emma cudled up against her bestfriend"Its ok hunny, Angad is a great guy he wont harm you"
They both managed a smile, and continued talking about other things.

The wedding had been a success, everyone was very happy, the rituals had taken place normally like a Indian marriage, and as far as everyone goes; her and Angad's parents were very happy aswell. She had cried, while leaving her house, for the last time as a daughter, now she was married, and her priorities were fore most for her, I mean Angad's family. His family treated her as if she was their own, but things between her and Angad had to straighten up. He had been quiet towards her, from the day he had come to drop off something to her house, as his parents were at her house making preparations and they had forgotten something. So he had come to drop it off, she had end up opening the door for him, and he hadn't even said hi, at that moment. He just handed her the envelope and left. He seemed. depressed, yup that was the right word, and she knew she had to fix it, somehow, as Mrs. Angad Khanna. his wife.
Ok I Know you guys, it was a short part, I apoligize. But still hope you enjoy it! And leave lots of comments!
Love,
Shantelle
