Mahi woke up and blushed to see herself engulfed in Shabd's arms and slowly pulled away without disturbing him. She stared a moment at him and tried hard to control the desire to caress his wide forehead, sharp nose and thin lips and thick hair. She turned to get down of the bed and stopped as Shabd grabbed her wrist. She startled and turned to him with a shyly smile.
Shabd wished "Goodmorning Rani! Promise me you wake me up every morning like this." She shook head with shy. "Ek kiss bhi miley toh!!"
She smiled and kissed on his cheek "Aur aagey kuch mat maangna" she ran into bathroom. She caressed his cheek affectionately and kissed his hand and closed his eyes "Waqt aaney per sab mangoonga MahiRani!"
Mahi went to college after her daily routine work. She felt amazingly happy the whole day and finished all her work fast. "Aaj lag raha hai ki mujhey bahut takat mili hai. Yeh kya Shabd ki jadoo hai/ Ya Uskey saat rehna, ussey chuna, ussey baat karna sab kuch bahut acha lagney lagi hai. Aaj mera padhayi per dhyan bahut acha huva tha. Mujhey ab tak yeh lag raha tha ki shadi padhyai ki barbaadi hai magar aaj kyon uski nazdeek rehna meri dhyan ko badhayi hai?"
She came home with excitement to see Shabd. Shabd also felt like he is in seventh heaven thinking Mahi's inclining behavior towards him. "She must be growing feelings towards me. Last night she was so comfortable in my arms. I hope she comes closer to me and believe shadi kissi ki barbaad nahin hai magar do dilon ka Milan hai. I'm succeeding in winning her heart. Let me spend more time with her now. Just this wait lasts soon in a year." He sighed and finished work early to meet Mahi in the evening soon.
"How are you, MahiRani?" Shabd came with a tea mug and sat besides her. Mahi put the magazine aside and greeted him "Aap chai lekar bhi agaya? Mein lay aati thi. Aakhir aap aya kab?"
"Jab aap kissi aur duniya mein ghoom rahey they" he winked at her making her blush. "I'm reading this article about 'reliance group of industries and its apparel and accessories.' Shabd nodded his head with appreciating looks. He dropped his hand around her shoulder and pulled her close. Mahi blushed and rested her head on his shoulder.
Mahi suddenly lifted her face "Shabd! Aap ek help kar saktey hai? Next year beginning sey humey internship karna hai. Aur kuch stdents abhi sey applications bharna shuru kardiyay thay. And one of my friends Raj Sahani wants to join our company. Can you please help him?"
Shabd wondered if Mahi has boyfriends "Sure, why not. Tell him to leave an application at font desk then I'll look into the matter. And tell him to leave your name with that too."
Mahi is excited and ran to call her friend immediately. She explained to Raj what to do and how to approach her company. They both talked for a while forgetting Shabd in the room. Shabd felt jealous but again consoled himself as he is her co-student.
Night again she slept close to him and Shabd couldn't stop himself asking her about Raj Sahani. Mahi surprised and looked into his eyes by resting her chin on his chest "Jalan horaha hai kya?" He smiled "haan, kahin meri raani ko koyi churakar legaya toh?"
"Aapki rani humesha aapki hi rahegi." She bit her tongue after realising what she said and moved away from him to hide her face under pillow. Shabd laughed and rested his head on her back "ThanQ"
He didn't force her to turn and she didn't move from the position. But both enjoyed each other's companion for that night.
Mahi kissed Shabd's forehead and greeted "Goodmorning" and Shabd opened eyes with surprise. She blushed, "Aap har subah mujh sey yahi chahtay haina?"
A crazy and naughty thought came into Shabd's mind "Mein aur bhi chahta hoon, dogi?" Mahi blushed for inner meaning in Shabd's statement "Aur intezaar karna padega." She ran into bathroom before Shabd say something further. Shabd smiled and closed his eyes again.
Mahi is enjoying her life in the college as her third year is ending and new projects and internship are starting soon. She recommended some more students into Shabd's company. Suhani decided to train those students with latest technologies and requested Shabd to bring Mahi into office once the college ends.
Mahi is excited to work with Shabd and waiting for the summer vacation.
Since the year is ending and next year all college students are anticipated to spend internship in different companies, all students planned a camping in Lonawala for a week.
Shabd is going out of town to Delhi and gave permission to Mahi to go for the trip.
Mahi is excited to go on trip as she never been out of the house alone. This time she has no parents, no sisters, not even Shabd with her. She has only her classmates, Dipti, Raj Sahani, and four of other.
They reached Lonawala by evening and settled in respective rooms. Raj Sahani arranged a lodge with his father's help. All friends went to see Lonawala dame, Busy dam, Buddhist caves, Forts, Lohagad, Rajmachi fort, Tung fort. They spent a day in trekking. Mahi and Dipti enjoyed the bhajias and others liked chikkies.
Mahi missed Shabd in the nights as she got used to sleep in his arms. She thought she will fulfill her missing nights with him as soon as she reaches Mumbai.
Shabd called couple of times to find out her whereabouts and she explained about her trip with excitement. Most of the time she talked about Dipti and Raj.
Shabd felt jealous about her friends especially about Raj. "Kya hai iss ladkey mein Mahi itni excitingly baat karti hai? Let me find out if there is something between them. Is this right I suspect her? May be I'm feeling insecure? No, I shouldn't." Shabd spent whole week with these confused feelings and eagerly waiting to meet Mahi in Mumbai.
After long waiting, as they felt, Shabd and Mahi headed to their house after a week separation. Mahi missed Shabd more this time than last time she went to Kashmir with her family. Shabd also felt the same way as he compared to the last trip to abroad.
