[SIZE=7]PART 32:
Tanya hurriedly sat in her car, without paying attention to either the driver or where he was taking her. After about 20 minutes into the drive, she realized that they were on a dark, poorly lit street and nowhere near familiar neighborhoods.
"Driver! Kahan jaa rahe ho? Yeh raasta galat hai…."
Angad stayed quiet and continued to drive.
"Kaun ho tum?" Tanya leaned forward and tapped the driver's shoulders.
The car swerved to a side street and before Tanya could realize where they were, her door was pulled open, and a pair of legs stood there urging her to step outside the car.
A fearful Tanya came out and saw Angad standing with his hand holding the car door for her.
Tanya's eyes were burning with rage, "yeh kya zabardasti hai Mr Angad?"
Angad shut the door to the car and pinned Tanya to the car, his arms on either side; his face inches away from hers. He whispered in her ears, "Kripa….yeh zabardasti nahin hai….main tumhey bas kuch samjhana chahta hoon…..kyon mere saath saath apne aap ko bhi saza de rahi ho?"
Tanya turned her face away, trying to get away from his warm heavy breathes, "Please leave me Angad….warna main police ko bula doongi….," she clenched her teeth in anger.
"Police? Kripa main tumharey liye har saza bhugatney ko tayyar hoon…..bas ek baar yeh keh do ki tum abhi bhi mujhsey pyaar karti ho…," his face brushed against her hair.
Tanya gave out a groan, but took control of herself, "Pyaar? Main aapko jaanti bhi nahin tho pyaar ka tho sawaal hi nahin hota…"
"Apne dil se poocho Kripa….kya tumhare dil bhi yahi kehta hai ki tum mujhsey pyaar nahin karti?" he kissed her ear lightly, sending chills along Tanya's spine.
Tanya pushed Angad away and started running along the dark and deserted street.
Angad followed her, "Kripa! Kripa!…please meri baat suno…..you can't do this to yourself and to me!" Angad was tempted to bring the subject of Prateek, but resisted, as he knew she would misconstrue all his efforts as bribery to get his son!
Tanya kept walking without paying any heed to Angad's pleads.
Angad ran and caught up with her. He grabbed her elbow and pulled her towards him, "Kripa…I am losing my patience…itna guroor kyon? Kya meri sazaa yahi hai ki maine tumhey apni jaan se bhi zyada pyaar kiya hai? Tumharey pyaar mein main pagal ho gaya hoon…bilkul diwana ho gaya hoon…..kya tum itni patthar dil ho gayi ho ki apne Angad ka dard bhi nahin mahsoos kar sakti?" he had tears in his eyes.
Tanya pulled her arm out of his grip and finally looked into his eyes, "Mr Angad….aapko meri zaroorat nahin…ek doctor ki hai….you are a crazy man! Aap ko koyi aisa sadma pahuncha hai ki aap pagal ho gaye hain…..main aapko kitni baar kahoongi ki main Kripa nahin hoon…I am Tanya damn it! Please leave me alone…..if you really want to see me happy, then stop chasing me!" she walked away, leaving Angad heart broken and full of tears in his eyes.

Angad walked back to the car and followed Tanya. He stopped the car next to her, "TANYA!….please gaadi mein baith jao….main tumhey drop kar doonga…..this place is not safe for a woman to walk alone…."
Tanya just gave him a cold look, "yeh sadak tumharey saath se tho zyada safe hogi….."
She just walked off as Angad kept driving behind her.
A few yards ahead, a truck was parked at a corner. There was a group of men sitting by a fire and playing cards and drinking booze. They saw a young woman walking alone on the deserted street. The men got up and surrounded Tanya, "kahan jaa rahi hai itni raat ko? Kiski kismet jagaaney jaa rahi hai?"
Tanya was scared, but tried to put up a brave face. In her heart she was glad, that Angad was just a few yards behind her. No matter what happened, she knew that Angad would not let anyone harm her.
Angad stayed in his car and watched the goons trying to harass Kripa. He rolled his window down so he could hear what was going on.
The goons started getting closer to Tanya and messing with her clothes and touching her body.
Tanya turned around and saw Angad's car parked at a distance, but she saw no signs of Angad. She started shivering with fear and tried to defend herself. She tried to runaway, but the men grabbed her waist and pulled her towards them.
Angad clenched his fists and got out of the car. His eyes were burning in anger; he could no longer see his Kripa being harassed like that. He ran towards the goons and extended his hand for Kripa to grab.
Tanya was relieved to see Angad and held onto Angad's hand, as he pulled her out of one of the goon's clutches.
Tanya screamed, "Angad…please bachaa lo mujhey!"
Angad took care of the goons and shooed them away.
His hand's and lips were bleeding after the altercation. He turned around and saw Kripa shivering in a corner, looking at him with grateful eyes.
Angad walked to her and said coldly, "you can decide whether you still want to drive with this crazy man, or walk all alone……don't expect me to follow you this time……mujhey koyi shauk nahin hai tumhey chase karne ka!"
Tanya's ego prevented her from saying anything nice. She just said a curt, 'thanks!" and sat inside the car, but in the front passenger seat this time. Angad smiled and thought, "Kripa….tum ab theek jagah baithi ho……"
Angad started the car and winced as his left hand felt sore from the gash he had just received. Tanya looked at the blood flowing from the hand resting on the gear. She remembered the last incident when Angad had cut his hand and she had been sprayed with his blood on her face and her "maang." Tanya took out her handkerchief from her purse and gave it to Angad, "yeh baandh lo Angad…."
Angad gave her a cold stare and ignored her, "no thanks Miss Tanya! Apne ghaav mein khud bhar loonga…..," and drove off.
