Part 16(A):-
It had been 3 weeks since that fateful day. She had lost him - Her senior, her colleague and the last sole link to her mother?s existence. She recollected the time when she had finally found her voice and had protested against his body being taken away. But out of know where Josh had appeared and took her away from him. Before leaving he had managed to flick the wallet and all identity measures of Angad - being Angad. The mission had to be completed at any cost. The culprits had to be exposed and caught red handed. Only then the CIA?s job would be completed.
Kripa had gone into a weird trance at the so called day of his demise. Now she was better. How could the death of one senior officer affect her so much! She had left the suite and was now in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where one of the vital suspects was supposed to be residing temporarily. The Australian scenario of the case had been transferred to another batch of officers. All essential information was exchanged. She herself had opted for such a transfer. The reason she was yet alien to. But the little did she know destiny had its own mysteries and alias that would come to light and be revealed with time.
Kripa was broken out of her thoughts as the next customer in line placed their order. Working in the local pizza hut joint was the perfect cover, she thought as she wiped her hands onto the apron. Moreover, the residence of the suspect was in the vicinity. Her sources had informed her that there was going to be a major breakthrough in the case the next day. Her curiosity having attained their peaks made her tingle with anticipation.
The next day:-
Armed, and dressed in a plain pale yellow top and black skirt, thereby acquiring the look of a local tourist; she waited at the bus stop for the bus to Gentling. She had an intuition that there she might find clues of the sinister plot. Suddenly, everything happened in a blurry. Finding herself whisked away in red BMW by a couple of masked mobsters , she struggled furiously but all her efforts were doomed when she realized quite late that she had inhaled chloroform from the musty cloth which had earlier been placed beneath her nostrils. The last word she heard was ?get there fast? before sinking into unconsciousness.
She couldn?t open her eyes as she felt her head would explode with even a little effort. She felt too dizzy and exhausted. In moments, she was drenched as a jug of water had been thrown over her face. Opening her eyes waveringly, ignoring the sharp blinding pain searing through her head, she looked about. She was trapped in a dungeon with rocky walls and sparse lighting.
"Where's the cash?"
Looking towards the source of the voice, she found herself glaring into a pair of deadly cold, black eyes. She couldn't help a tremor run up her spine.
"Huh??" was all she managed. Boy, the chemical must have been quite strong.
"Where are the bucks, god d***it??"
Money? "I don't know what you are talking about. And who are you??"
"That doesn't matter. Do not waste time and quickly answer us or we might have to use quite not so decent and painlful methods of making you spill out the truth." piped up another harsh voice.
Kripa was confused. What money were they talking about?
"Looks like you are not going to answer, well we have our own means and measures to make you own, baby?"
Slicing open the knife the ruthless, black eyed man moved threateningly towards her.
Kripa gasped aloud with fear as she felt the cold, raw and sharp edge of the metal graze her sleek neck.
Suddenly, a strong voice rang around the room "Leave her to me. I know how to handle this situation." Kripa wasn't sure whether she was hallucinating or not. Angad Khanna was back!!!!
