U really do know how to make a persons day…… sorry for disappointing you diya…… actually I was rushing for my pals birthday party and I was there the whole day, but I could not help but update a lil b4 leaving…. It was just too tempting. But I will keep in mind and try not to have too tiny parts and not to disappoint you and the others in the future. But thanx n e way for the gr8 responses all of you. PART 9
Naina was shocked beyond belief. She felt as though everything was over…. The world had crashed….. history was repeating itself and what happened to Naveen was happening to Raj too. She sat down on the ground, numb with shock. But raj did not waste any time. He quickly went and woke up aalekh and Yudi who were still asleep. Ali and pooja came back at the same time and all the cadets were rounded by Raj.
Raj- cadets hum par ek bahut hi badi problem aa tooti hai. Mein net um sab ko yeh nahin bataya ki hum yahan nuclear triggers ko deposit karne aaye hai jo hum .3620 par deposit karenge. Yehi humara mission hai. Lekin humare bahut saare dushman hai jinhe yeh triggers kisi bhi haalat mein chaahiye. Mein un triggers ko mere saath mere room mein rakh raha tha. Lekin aaj jab mein walk se waapas aaya to mein ne dekha ki who triggers mere tent se chura liye gaye hai.
He went on to describe the box in which the triggers were kept. Huda went pale with shock, disbelief and fright. This was the same box he had stolen….. OH NO! he sprinted towards the hiding place and dug the location which he had clearly marked out. NOTHING WAS THERE! He dug and searched like mad. But nothing. He then thought of everything. That weird man who had turned out of no where….. he had not even seen his face properly and nor did he remember any girl called Saloni (who that man had mentioned as his sis) in KMA. He had blindly followed that mans instructions without thinking of the consequences. He had thought that the box would have some personal belongings of Raj…… but his tiny little mistake bcoz of his stupidity, jealousy and obsession of naina had put his dear country in trouble. He fell down on the ground and started sobbing uncontrollably. But he got up abruptly. He knew this was no time to cry over spilt milk. He ran back to the camp and told Raj everything, whatever he had done. Naina was besides herself with rage and gave him one tight slap across his face. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS" she screamed angrily " TUMHARI BEWAKOOFI KI SAZA AB SIR KO LENI HOGI. I HATE YOU. MEIN TUMHE HAMESHA OVER-CONFIDENT MAGAR SMART SAMAJHTI THI. MAGAR TUM TO……" but raj put his hand on naina's shoulder calming her.
Raj- don't shout at him naina. Use uski kiye ki saza milgayi hai. He has been punished enough by his guilt and conscience. He has realized his mistake
Naina turned to him with tear filled eyes. "magar sir" she whispered painfully…. But to her surprise he was smiling. He quietly walked towards the food carton and pulled out a huge packet of rice. "anyone hungry?" he asked to the 6 stunned cadets. He cut open the packet and pulled out, along with a handful of rice, the trigger. Naina and all the others gasped with surprise. He laughed, looking at their astonishment.
Raj- I knew that the spies would try to manipulate one of you to get the triggers for them. That's why I tricked and misled you and them to thinking that the triggers were in that box. I knew it that one of you would try to steel it. Now the spies have fake triggers. Of course, they will realize soon, but by the we should reach .3620 and hide the triggers there. But the question on your minds must be "why did I create such a hungama if the triggers were safe?" well, I wanted to know who amongst you was their spy. And the answer is a poor, misled, cadet huda.
Huda looked very guilty.
Huda- sir, mein ne aap par kitni baar shak kiya hai, kitni baar dhoka diya hai, magar aap ne hamesha mera saath diya hai. Aur aaj…… sir mujhe KMA chod na hai
Raj- don't be stupid cadet. Galtiyaan to sab se hoti hai, magar apni galti ko maana hi samajhdaari hoti hai. After all hum humari galtiyon se hi to seekhte hai na.
Huda- magar sir….
Raj- enough cadet. Ab hum sab ki is bare mein koi discussion nahin hogi. That's final. But just remember all of you that we all have to protect these triggers no matter what.
Naina was overjoyed. She went up to him. Her eyes said it all.
Naina- you are brilliant……..
Raj- (winking) I know!
After this the mood in the camp lightened considerably. The moved ahead the whole day but now laughing and talking. When the night fell they had their dinner and went to bed soon after setting up their tents. It had been a very tiring day. They would reach .3620 the next day before noon.
They all went to their tents. But naina was not sleapy. The whole day had been so action packed that she was too excited to sleep. She heard raj's voice talking on the phone and went out. But what she heard took the wind out of her
Raj- (to the person on the phone) Of course I miss you too. I will come as soon as possible. Don't worry sweety. Love you lots. Bye!
Naina looked as though some one slapped her.
Raj- naina…..
But naina was in no mood to listen. She marched upto him and snatched away the phone from his hands, her eyes brimming in tears.
Naina- kisse baat kar rahe the?
Raj- naina….
Naina- KAUN THI WHO? How can you tell her I love you (tears rolling down her eyes) ? how can you do this to me? Don you realize THAT I LOVE YOU???
Raj was stunned at this. He pulled naina into his arms but she was fighting him off.
Raj- naina meri baat to suno….
Naina- never…. You cheat….. dokhebaaz….
Raj- Naina listen… I love you too….
Naina- no…. pehle us phone waali ko I love you bolte ho…. Phir mujhe….
Raj- naina listen (he shakes her firmly) that was my sister Naina! My sister!
Naina- (stunned) your sister…..
Raj- yes naina my sister…. I have never told you much about my family, have i?
Naina- no….. that means…..
Raj- yes naina I love only you
Naina's anger turned to stunned joy…. He loved her….. and raj was also at cloud No.9 . she also loved him……
They looked at each other with eyes filled with love….. and fell into each others arms in a long hug which felt like eternity…..
