PART 7

Meanwhile Raj and Naina strolled around the woods.... Naina busy chattering away and raj busy staring at her and getting lost in her sweet voice.... her deep beautiful eyes....
DHAM! The next moment Raj was flat on the ground. he had tripped over a huge protruding root of a huge tree and had fallen face first on the ground. Naina knelt down as he was getting up, extremely worried.
Naina- sir, aap theek ho na... oh mu god...
raj- relax naina, im fine...
in reality he had hurt his knee but the concern in Naina's voice had made him numb to all pain.... she cared for him....
Raj (murmuring)- stupid tree
Naina- yes, its quite a peculiar tree, the roots are so high and branches so low.
and true enough, one of the branches was so low that it was blocking their path, Raj moved it to reveal a spectacle Naina would have not even seen in her wildest dream.... Ali and Pooja were sitting in one of those low branches in each others arms, Ali passionately kissing her cheeks........
Raj and Naina looked at each other horrified.... raj quickly lowered the branch, not disturbing the couple and taking a different route. there was a slight uncomfortable silence between them which Raj soon broke.
Raj- soooo.... we are not the only people awake, are we?
Naina giggled but seddunly screemed and ran behind raj hugging him. raj saw why. there was a huge snake in their path. He clutched nainas hand and pulled her away in a different path.
she was shivering out of fear. raj smiled.
Raj- tum bahut dar gayee na?
Naina- haan.... magar itna nahin (she held his hand tenderly) aakhir aap jo mere saath ho... hamesha... always with me

they stopped in their tracks and looked into each others eyes and came closer to each other.... and closer..... and closer.....
