Prithvi hugs Ria and tears flow down his cheeks, he then picks up Tia and holds Ria's hand, he goes past Suhana

P - main apne bachon ko yahan se le jaa raha hoon.....tum befikaar yeh shaadi karlo

~*~Part 16~*~

Prithvi began walking towards the door with his kids, Suhana stood there with tears in her eyes, finally Kripa spoke up

K - Angad! usse roko!

A - Prithvi! kahan jaa raha hai bachon ko lekar?

P - main is shaadi mein koi rukavat nahin dalna chahta....lekin main apne bachon ko iske saath rehne nahin doonga

Angad is about to argue with him when Sujal puts his hand on his shoulder

S - Angad tu yahan sab kuch samal, main Prithvi ko mere ghar le chalta hoon

A - teek hai

S - chal Prithvi

Prithvi follows Sujal, Kashish and their kids outside, Suhana faints and Angad takes her to her room

K - ab kya hoga?

A - pata nahin Kripa.......pehle yeh pata lagana hai ke Prithvi kahan tha......aur aise barthav kyun kar raha tha

Meanwhile Sujal is sitting with Prithvi in the living room of the Garewal Mansion, Prithvi has Tia in his laps

S - kya hua tha us raat?

P - main Nihaal ke paas gaya tha....

S - haan aur usne kaha ke tune usse maaf kiya aur tujhe ek zaroori phonecall aya, phir pata lag gaya ke jis gaadi mein tu tha us gaadi ka accident hogaya.....ek laash vahan mili aur hum sab ne socha ke voh tum....

P - yeh jhoot hai......sach tho yeh hai....

Prithvi begins telling Sujal everything that happened that night, Sujal gets out his phone

P - kisse phone kar raha hai?

S - the police...Nihaal ko arrest karne ke liye

P - nahin.....agar main chata tho vahan sab kuch kehta.....please kuch mat karna

Sujal puts the phone down

S - tho phir kya hua?

P - .......jab mujhe hosh aaya tho main gaadi ke bahar tha, gaadi ko poori tara se aag lagi thi aur ek aadmi vahan para tha......lagta jab gaadi neeche giri tho usko lag gayi hogi......main jald se vahan bhaagna chaha lekin meri taange chal nahin paaye

**flashback**

Prithvi is lying by the ruins of the car and tries getting up but his legs don't move, he shouts out for help, soon a car stops and two guys get out and help him into the car and take him to the hospital where the doctor does his check up

D - I'm sorry sir lekin aapke taangon mein temporary paralysis hai

P - paralysis? kab tak?

D - shahid kuch hafton...ya mahino.....kuch kaha nahin ja sakta

Prithvi is disheartened, the doctor arranges for him to be taken to Goa where his treatment could take place, Prithvi spends 7 months in Goa and finally gets better

P - ab main ghar jaa sakta hoon

Prithvi is happy and comes back to Mumbai, he is outside the Khanna Mansion and sees Suhana, his heart wants to run and take her into his arms but right behind her he sees Nihaal holding Tia. Prithvi hides behind a wall watching them get into a car together and drive off. Prithvi is again hurt and goes back to the two guys that helped him Soham and Shaurya

So - tho Prithvi, kya hua? tum ghar gaye?

P - kyun gaya main.....Suhana tho mujhe bhool gayi hai....

Sh - himat mat haar Prithvi...sab kuch teek hojayega

Prithvi continues to stay with Soham and Shaurya until one day when he is in the town center and sees Suhana and Kripa looking for a bridal dress and realises Suhana is about to marry Nihaal

**present**

P - isliye main yahan aa gaya....main nahin chahta ke mere bache us rakshak ke sayee mein pare.....agar Suhana uske saath rehna chahti tho voh uski marzi

Ka - tum pagal ho gaye o! Suhana tumhe kabhi nahin bhooli! voh hum sab ne uspe zor laya ke voh Nihaal se shaadi kar le bachon ki katir! voh tho maanti nahin thi, ke rahi thi ke ab bhi tumse pyaar karti hai! agar humhe pata hota ke Nihaal ne tumhe.....tho hum kabhi aisa nahin karte....humhe laga ke Nihal sudar gaya hai

P - voh ab bhi mujhe pyaar karti hai?

S - haan

Ria stands up and sits on Prithvi's lap

R - papa

P - yes beta?

R - maine aapki tasveer dheki thi

P - kahan?

R - mama ki cupboard mein......jab voh roz ut thi hai tho usse dhekti hai, aur raat ko jab voh sothi hai tab usse apne paas lekar sothi hai

Prithvi kisses Ria's forehead, picks up Tia and stands up

P - tho main ghar jaoon?

S - jaa!

Prithvi hugs Sujal and Kashish then leaves with his kids. Sujal phones Angad and tells him everything, when Prithvi arrives at the Khanna Mansion he sees Suhana slapping Nihaal and the police taking him away, Prithvi puts the kids down and stops in front of him

P - mujhe apna bhai maanta tha? khoob nibaya yeh rishta.....agar aaj ke baad tum mere gahr ke aas paas dhike tho maar daaloon ga tumhe

The police takes Nihaal away and Prithvi goes towards the enterance to the Khanna Mansion, Kripa stops him

P - kya hua Kripa?

K - ....aarti kiye bina andhar nahin ah sakte

Prithvi smiles, Kripa gets the aarti tray and does his aarti, Prithvi enters, the kids run to Suhana and she walks towards Prithvi with a sindoor box and her mangal sutar in her hand, Prithvi smiles and takes the mangal sutar off her and puts it around her neck then fills her maang with sindoor, Suhana then hugs him

Suh - ab kahin mat jaana....vaada karo

P - vaada karta hoon

Angad and Kripa watch happily.
