I got up from the armchair and reached out to put the coffee cup on the table. He looked at me for a long time and asked, perhaps a little painfully:

Sara, aren't you going to tell me anything?

I looked at him and said:

I'm sorry Zoran for humiliating you at the airport, but that's all I have to tell you. It's not like I have to chase you and beg you anymore, and I've never done that. I've suffered a lot because of you, and that's enough for me. I went to this meeting just to listen to you, because I deserve to know everything, but what you've told me now, you could have done much earlier, and now, Zoran, it's too late for you and me. Please, come and take me home. My dad is alone and I don't want him to worry too much. Thank you again for your honesty, but I think you were honest even then when you said you'd never be with me. That's the only truth that matters now. Neither you nor I have anything more to say to each other.
