After a few days, I already had a routine at work and I was satisfied. My dad gave me news from my hometown and my company visited me once to see where I was and how I was doing. They were sad because of my decision, but in the end they realized that it might be better for me. Zoran was not mentioned, although Jana said that she met Dragan and that he greeted me. After that, I called Dragan and told him that I had moved and that I could call him from time to time and talk if he wanted, but not to mention my brother. He understood me because Zoran told him what we talked about.

I continued my life without Zoran, because I thought I was better off that way. I couldn't forgive him for the humiliation I had experienced. My pride wouldn't let me forgive him. Jana told me that he was looking for me and my dad also said that he was coming home to ask about me. Dad told him not to look for me because I had moved and that I didn't want to see him. Honestly, I was sorry that I asked my father for that, but it simply had to be that way. Zoran tried to reach me through Dragan, but Dragan also proved to be a true friend and didn't tell him where I was. And so I lived my life, actually I tried to live my life. I showed myself well at work and I had more and more clients and I was happy about that.

Time passed quickly because I worked almost all day. I didn't have time to think about Zoran and my problems. Jana came to me on weekends and was with me over the weekend. Nemanja came a few times to see me and go out for dinner or lunch with him. Saša and the others rarely came because they had a lot of work commitments. Everyone was busy and everyone had their own life outside of work. I was the only one who decided to just work. hahahha, that sounds cruel, but that's how it was.

I also started going out with my work friends. There was a young lawyer I liked right away. His name was Vlada. Vlada tried to ask me out a few times but I refused. In the end, I agreed and we had a great time at dinner. He kissed me goodbye and said see you tomorrow. I liked his kiss, I have to admit, I started to relax and enjoy his company. We saw each other at work but in the evenings we went out and had a great time. Little by little I was getting more and more into Vlada and I barely remembered Zoran. One day Vlada suggested that we go somewhere for the weekend, just the two of us. I was a little scared that weekend because we knew what that meant.

I was also embarrassed because Vlada and I had been dating for a month but we hadn't gone any further since the kiss. He saw that something was bothering me and didn't insist on anything more. I was grateful to him for that. That's why the decision to go with him for the weekend was still impossible for me. A year has passed since I moved here and as for Zoran, I've said my piece. I will never be with him.

But now I have to make a decision about Vlada. Uhhh, it was a difficult decision for me. Jana laughed about it. She offered to trade me hahaha. She liked Vlada. I like him too, but a part of me just couldn't relax. The fear of being humiliated again and the fear of rejection was always present with me. Still, I decided to go with Vlada to the seaside for a weekend.

The agreement was to go to the sea, if possible, in his car on Friday after work. And to stay until Monday. I had days off, but I only took one day because I was collecting the other days to go somewhere with my company on vacation. We left on Friday afternoon and arrived at the sea late in the evening. Vlada was a gentleman, so he reserved two rooms. How glad I was about that. I entered the room and lay down to sleep after showering. In the morning we met for breakfast and then we went to the beach. I wore a beautiful bathing suit and had a scarf over my body. The big hat looked great on me.

We headed for the sunbeds when I dug myself into place again. Dragan and none other than Zoran on the beach. I was left with my eyes and mouth open when Dragan looked at me and shouted, "Are you here too?" I approached slowly and then I saw that something was wrong. Zoran was in a wheelchair. He was in terrible condition. Vlada came with me and hugged me, as was normal under normal conditions. And I only saw Zoran. My Zoran in a wheelchair. I moved away from Vlada and crouched next to Zoran.

- What happened??? Zoran watched me for a long time and I was uncomfortable with his look. Dragan answered for him. He had another accident and hurt his spine again, but now his condition is a little more difficult. That injury was not fully healed and now this new injury has only made it worse. Zoran pushed me away from him and turned to Dragan and rudely told him: Let's get out of here. I stood up and didn't know what to do or how to behave. Zoran, please - I said.

Don't come near me_he said.

Vlada was a silent observer of all this, but he managed to say to Zoran - There is no need to be rude to my girlfriend. Zoran flinched at that sentence and just looked at him sharply. If looks could kill, Vlada would already be dead.

And again I was in the wrong place at the wrong time or I was in the right place at the right time. Now I didn't know for sure what was right. Dragan looked at me and said I'll look for you later and now I have to take my brother to therapy. He left with Zoran and I stayed where I was. I stood there and cried for a long time and Vlada, who was standing next to me, managed to move and just tell me now I understand why you're in a spasm towards me. Vlada was a very good guy but I was also aware now that I would never be able to forget Zoran. Vlada turned to me and told me something that was clear to me. I came here to be with you but now I see that I have no chance next to him
