Part -8:

Soon the queue began to move forward slowly and they also walked along. Yash and Aarti are now afraid to talk again with eachother after what happened between them moments ago.

Soon they were inside the first gate of the temple and now the queue was moving pretty quickly towards the inner most building of the shrine.

One look of deity Srikrishna made Aarti feel ecstatic.

There was a real feel of holiness inside that temple and one could feel so euphoric. She prayed with all her heart to lord Guruvayoorappan, to give all the happiness in this world to her Amma.

She felt a drop of tear run down her cheek as she finished praying.

After finishing the circumambulation around the inner temple they all got outside into the outer temple. They had the darshan of the holy deities of Lord Ganapati, Lord Ayyappan and Goddess Durga and Maa Bhagbati.

They all had prasadam and Chandanam and some holy water from a counter. Aarti glanced secretly at Yash who applied the tilak of Chandan on his forehead and on his chest. Just then Sobha took some Chandanam and and applied it on Aarti's forehead and below her neck. A smile crept upon Yash's face as he witnessed the scene.

Aarti loved the taste of Kheer and butter from prasad counter.

It was almost afternoon and they all were feeling hungry.

They took all their things from the counter. Yash wore his shirt and they all had lunch in a restaurant.

Yash and Aarti are talking casually as their family is around.

Afterwards they started their journey back from their in the car. Every one of them was tired.All the ladies fall asleep soon. Yash took a glance of the mirror and saw the sleeping beauty. " There is something about her which keeps me drawing towards her, but this is wrong."

Just then Aarti opened her eyes and automatically gazed at Yash through the mirror. Their eyes met for 2-3 seconds and Yash averted his gaze feeling like a kid caught while stealing toffees. Aarti blushed as she thought about their intimate moments they shared while standing in the queue.

But then she thought " And I can't deny the fact that I am attracted to him, I have never felt this way towards any man in my life.." She leaned her forehead on the window still and gazed at him dreamily and admired his handsome face.

The evening breeze caressed her face and she was feeling an ethereal bliss. She took her mobile and connected the earphone. She played her favourite love songs and slowly she drifted into sleep again.

They all woke up when the car finally came to a halt in front of Yash's home. It was almost night time and they all got down. Aarti was feeling bad now. It was time to part with Yash. She looked at Yash.

Radha: Sobha, we shall all have dinner together here at our home. There is no need to go home and cook alone now. All are tired already. Together we both shall prepare a simple meal and you both sleep here itself.

Sobha: Oh.... That will be fine then, Come Chinnu....

Yash somehow felt elated when he saw that Aarti and Sobha Amma were not leaving tonight. But this feeling was quite unknown to him and he realised that he was enjoying this feeling a lot.

Aarti was delighted by the chance she got to be around Yash for some more time. They all walked into the house. Yash went upstairs to his room to change clothes.

Pari: Di... You can wear one of my suits for the night. Come with me.

Pari took Aarti upstairs to her room. They walked past Yash's room and reached Pari's room which is next to his.

Both changed their clothes and came down. As they are walking down the stairs, Aarti realised that she had forgotten her mobile in the room.

Aarti: Oh no... I forgot my mobile... Pari.. you go.. I will get my mobile and come.

She climbed up the stairs and hurriedly walked along the corridor when she collided onto something.

Aarti: Ouch....

And she looked up to see Yash who was dressed in a white T-shirt and white mundu. Their eyes met again.

Aarti gazed into his eyes with a gentle smile.

Both : I - - - I am sorry....

Aarti: ( feeling awkward) I - - I just c- came back to t- take my m--mobile...

And she left quickly from there and went hastily towards Pari's room. Yash didn't wait for her and walked down the staircase as soon as possible.

He just couldn't guess what was happening to him when she is around.

Aarti went to Pari's room and clutched her chest with one hand.

She thought: " This attraction is really strong... I am sure he also feels the same the way as me..."

Loved both chapters...too beautiful...loved their moments in the temple..I really liked your style of writing..so simple yet so beautiful, along with matching images...waiting for the next chapter.
