Chapter 6

Piya comes out of the washroom and throws a glare at Aryansh who winks at her in return. She picks the cushion from the sofa and throws it at him in annoyance

Ouch

Aryansh gives a painful cry as if the cushion was badly hit on his wound worsening the situation. Piya gets panicked and runs to him to check if he is hurt.

Oh my god, I'm soo sorry baby

The next second, she realized that his right arm was injured whereas the cushion hit his left arm. She sees a smiling Aryansh when raised her eyes. He is making a fool out of her. She gives him I'll kill you look for doping me and yells at him

How dare you?

He takes her in a hug and kisses her hair. She tries to come out of his strong arms but the hold is too strong for her. She hits on his chest in frustration and when there's no change in his embrace, she wraps her hands around him while murmuring

You are so bad

You didn't give me a proper proposal. Who asks someone to marry while making love. I know why you did all this?

Piya is angry at him for not giving her proper proposal by taking her to dinner. She thought that he would give her a cute and surprising proposal with flowers and chocolates but what he did is a primate style but not a gentleman's style. Her wish of getting a fancy proposal remains unfulfilled.

And why?

Aryansh's expression changes so tensed on hearing that she knew the reason. He thinks, had she realized why he did earlier.

Because you are a miser. You don't want to spend money in arranging a proposal so you used the shortcut. You already cut my one-day salary due to one harmless lie. What will you do with this much money, tell me.

Aryansh cracked up on hearing her accusations. Those words sound very funny to him. He is surprised and thinks about how she gets such ideas. His proposal at the time of their intimate moment was spontaneous. He didn't plan to propose to her in that way but when he was with her, in her, he couldn't control himself. He wanted her words that she will be with him forever and being a smart ass man he struck the iron when it was hot and got the wishful answer.

Later, Piya goes back to her house in the evening after meeting with his family. And, Aryansh said in the office that she will be doing work from his home due to the injury.

Once Piya leaves, Aryansh's family asks him about her parents'decision during the dinner. Had her parents said anything about the proposal but he said that he didn't ask her yet. His family understands that Piya's parents need time to comprehend the situation as they were not aware of these two relationships unlike them. He agrees and goes back to his room.

Aryansh receives a call on his phone when he's working on a report.

We have relocated that man to a different city and the case is closed now. There will be no further investigation and no legal issue will come up.

Great. You can check your account now, Aryansh replies while transferring the heavy amount to the caller from his personal account.

Once the call is cut, Aryansh thinks about how he planned things from the beginning.

When he came to know from Piya that her father doesn't like him, he charged her father in a false bribery case so that he could play a good boy role and impress her parents. He didn't see any other way to impress them. He decided to impress them with generosity and selflessness and her family got impressed.

Yesterday, he realized that her mother is impressed with him but her father is making his life difficult. He sensed her father might have brainwashed her so he planned his own accident.

He crashed his car to a tree shocking the guards who rushed to save him. Due to the air bags, he didn't get injured much but the car's condition became worse. He was sure regardless of what her family says if she comes to know that he's injured then she will forget everything and come to him and the same thing happened in the morning. Her stand on their relationship is strengthened now.

Everything is going according to the plan and there will not be any issue unaware that he created a hell hole for himself by doing his own accident.

What he reads on the internet is surprising to him. His heart gets calmed down seeing the answers on various websites for his negative questions.





He is more interested to read what if the horoscopes do not match. In that case, he needs to do something to save his love life. He reads that there are remedies to overcome various bad omens.

His head spins to see how people believe the superstition and its remedies. How can someone tell about the other's future. This document is generated through an algorithm which is developed by a human. How can that be trusted? Algorithms can go wrong due to the glitch but who will make the orthodox thinking folks understand that.

Sometimes, not everything has logic especially when the matter is of beliefs. It's the beliefs which give a person identity and purpose to live. For Aryansh, his belief is hard work and writing own destiny and Piya's parents' belief is to trust in the star's alignment.

He comes out of the cabin to go for an outside meeting and sees his girlfriend sitting beside Simran. They are sharing the chocolate and laughing while chit-chatting. Aryansh shakes his head and thinks that he's worrying about their future and this girl is having the time of her life without any worry.

He is not liking that she is not thinking what will happen if their stars don't align or their horoscopes don't match though that's not possible considering his ways of dealing the things.

According to him, the stars must align at any cost because he can't lose her due to the mood-swings of stars and their positions. Who will make this stubborn head understand that no one can win over fate and destiny.

In the Shekhawat Mansion, Aryansh's mother, Sneha Shekhawat, is waiting for the call from Piya's mother to share the news about the horoscopes. She thought to have that done from her end as well but it may not look good as they took the initiative. If they don't give her a positive response then she may get a second opinion from their priest.

Excited Aryansh replies in a happy tone but Piya doesn't like his answer. How can he be happy when she's not coming. He should be sad, right? Whereas Aryansh is happy to know that there will not be any hurdles now.
