The rules for Fan Fiction have been updated: "It is compulsory to mention these parameters either in the summary or in the author's note."

I made a suggestion to India Forums to generate a checklist of triggers in a definite place in each Fan Fiction book's title page, so that authors are aware of the rule and don't have to type in the triggers. Please use the link and give a reaction if you support my suggestion.

After complying with this new rule, I feel breathless to share how many triggers I found in my longest story:

https://www.indiaforums.com/fanfiction/1763

Reader's Age Group : U ; Extent of Trigger Warnings : moderate ; Trigger Warnings : medical illness, mental health issues, trauma, sexual situations, abstract sexual desires, abstract nudity, mild sexual language, forcible marriage, sexually transmitted disease, mentions of nonconsensual obscene photographs, attempted murder, kidnapping, suicide-ideation, self-harm, bullying, drugging, prostitution, domestic violence, battery, and abortion, abstract mentions of drug trafficking, rape or sexual assault, vasectomy, and abusive therapy. Overall, this is a wholesome and innocent story about ideals of family and love.

This could be fun! Please share your trigger warnings, and let's see whose story has the most diverse triggers!

Has anyone else complied with the "compulsory list of triggers" rule yet?

There's one more trigger in my story: religion-based male genital mutilation. However, I don't think I should score a point for it because the text only alludes to it in such a way that the reader has to imagine what the topic is.

Now that the one month grace period for compliance with the trigger warning requirement is over, would anyone like to share the trigger warnings that we have been including?

I specified an "animal slaughter" trigger warning for my latest one-shot because I realized that some readers might find it just as disturbing as "death of a character." Since my story alludes to the myth of mountains losing their wings, I included a "loss of limbs" trigger warning just to be safe. And a "regurgitation" trigger warning because readers might not like to think about how wolves feed their pups.

I wrote a fan fiction on a show that mentioned that the female lead had been spanked by the male lead's aunt eighteen years ago, so I had to include a trigger warning for "child spanking" to avoid the more serious implication of "child abuse."

Is anyone else using a "sexually transmitted disease" trigger warning in addition to "medical illness?" I thought it was best to do this for my romance and my parody featuring an HIV positive character.
