Shiva threw away all the candles and removed the balloons in frustration.he sat down on the floor exhausted.he was attracted to her.who was he kidding?he has always loved her. Her smile lighted up his world.her tears pierced his heart.he had accepted the fact that she didn't feel anything for him, but somewhere he had a hope.everytime she said she loved dev something in him broke but he masked it.today would have been the best day of his life had it been real.he drifted to sleep on the cold floor of the storeroom

Raavi woke up, her head feeling heavy due to all the crying.her eyes were red.she freshened up and took out a white full sleeved salwar and paired with a blue dupatta with silver work.she tied up her hair in a messed up ponytail and headed to pandya niwas.she had some unfinished business there.

" Tu kaha tha puri raat shiva? Pata hai mai kitni pareshaan thi.ek phone to kar sakta tha na" dhara said

" Sorry bhabi.woh store mai bahut kaam tha, mai thak gaya tha to wohi so gaya " shiva said not meeting her eyes.

" Maine bola that shiva store mai hi so gaya hoga.ab woh bada ho gaya hai.tu uski chinta karna chod de " gombi said. He knew something was up and shiva needed some space.

" Bacche jitne bhi bade ho jaye par maa unki chintaa karna nahi chodti.ab tu jaa aur haath muh dho le.mai nashta lagati hu " dhara said

Shiva nodded and freshened up.dev,shiva, Krish and gombi sat to have breakfast.dhara was having her tea.just them raavi came in.

" Dhara dii.mujhe aap se bahut zaroori baat karni hai " she said

" Kya hua raavi? Sab thik hai na? " Dhara asked her.

" Mujhe dev se shaadi nahi karni " she said firmly.

Shiva looked at her surprised.

" Yeh tu kya keh rahi hai raavi? Tum dono ke beech kuch jhagda hua hai kya? Jhagde kis rishte Mai nahi hote? Iska matlab yeh to nahi ki rishta hi tod do " dhara said

" Jhagda to tab hoga na dhara di jab koi rishta ho.dev aur mai ek dusre se pyar nahi karte " she said

Dev was relieved to hear that.he never had the courage to say this in front of the family.now that raavi said this he joined her.

" Raavi thik keh rahi hai bhabi.hum dono ke beech aisa kuch bhi nahi hai " dev said

" yeh Kya mazaak laga rakha hai tum dono ne? Tu bachpan se pure somnath Mai dhindora peeti aa rahi hai ki tu dev se pyar karti hai.aur dev tu? Ghar mai kitni baar teri aur raavi ki shaadi ki baat hui hai par tune kabhi kuch nahi kaha " dhara said angrily.

"Thik hai na dhara.acha hua inn logo ne abhi bata diya.ab yeh dono ek dusre se pyar hu nahi karte to shaadi to nahi ho sakti na " gombi said

Shiva felt happy.he could never have seen her as his bhabi.he felt a huge burden being lifted off his chest.so she was speaking the truth when she said she didn't love dev? But why did she say she loved him all of a sudden? He was confused now.

He had to talk to her.did he misunderstand something?

" Thik hai.ab jo ho gaya so ho gaya.aaja hamare saath nabshta kar le " dhara said

" Nahi dhara di.aise accha nahi lagta. Pehle mere liye yeh ghar mera hone wala sasural tha.par ab mera iss Ghar se koi rishta hi nahi hai. " She said looking at shiva who was looking intently at her.

" Yeh tu kya keh rahi hai raavi? Teri dev se shaadi ho ya na ho, par tu hamesha iss Ghar ki bacchi rahegi.chup chap baith aur khaana kha le " gombi said to her.

Raavi opened her mouth to protest but dhara held her hand and made her sit next to shiva and served her breakfast.

Raavi avoided looking at shiva and concentrated on her food.

Suddenly she coughed.

Shiva quickly gave her a glass of water and patted her back.she drank the water and stopped coughing.

" tu thik hai " shiva asked

Raavi looked at her and shook her head in a no.she had to leave from here before she cried.she got up hastily.

" Dhara di mujhe college ke liye late ho raha hai.mai chalti hu" she said and went away.

" Are ruk, tujhe shiva chod dega..." Dhara said but she was already gone.

"Raavi ko aaj kya ho gaya hai? Kitni badli badli si lag rahi thi " dhara said

Alag to lag rahi thi.

Shiva thought.

" Mai bahut khush hu raavi ki tune us manhoos parivaar se apne saare rishte tod diye.ab dekhna teri maasi tere liye ekdum top class ladka dhundegi " Prafulla was very happy.

Raavi just sat on her bed not reacting to her maasi.anita noticed her sadness.

After maasi went, anita came to raavi and sat in front of her.

" Kya baat hai raavi? Tu mujhe bata sakti hai.kisine kuch kaha kya? Dev ne? Shiva ne? " She asked

Raavi couldn't control her tears and hugged anita.she told her everything sobbing.

Anita consoled her patting her head.she always knew shiva held a special place in raavi's life.

" Woh aisaa kaise keh sakta hai anita di? Mere baare mai itni ghatiya soch? " Raavi said

Anita broke the hug and wiped her tears .

" Shiva ne jo kiya bahut galat kiya.par tu use bachpan se jaanti hai na raavi? Usne tere saath kitne jhagde kiye hai, kitni baar gussa kiya hai par kya usne kabhi bhi tujhe humilate kiya hai? " Anita asked

She shook her head.

" To phir aisa kya hua jo usne apni hadd paar kar di? Mujhe galat mat samajh, mai uski side nahi le rahi hu.usne jo kiya woh galat tha, tu use maaf karegi ya nahi yeh tera faisla hai.par agar uske behaviour ke peeche ki wajah janegi to tere mann ko sukoon milega " anita said

Anita made her sleep caressing her head.raavi thought about what anita di said.
