Smrita is getting severe heart burn listening to Veev getting offers from Rakshit and Satyen. A milder heart burn for Raanav.

his Dad accused him of mistreating Viveka and her family, Raanav feels if Viveka gives in and agrees to the proposal it will seem like his father respects the Mathur girls more than he ever did. Which is actually true... he sees it as a spiteful action by Satyen

If Viveka declines then he could win the ego clash match

If she accepts then Dad wins

In a way Satyen is scoring a point here by offering her a job, if she accepts then Raanav sees himself in worst light, he knows his Dad will insinuate the same at some point.

It is a fact that Raanav believed the Mathur girls were worthless

If Viveka accepts the job then it would mean the head of PEI does not believe they are worthless

Jale par namak ( irony is though Raanav feel in love with her sharp brains first)

His opinion of Mathurs is going to haunt Raanav for a while. He is not completely reformed either, like I said before, he is making an exception for Viveka. He has not completely changed his opinion

He's obviously not thinking on Smrita's lines.. so is he mad because Satyen is involving his wife while keeping him out of it? But then, why set off on her?

Oh well, as someone pointed out earlier.. if Viveka is involved with their company, it's just going to help Raanav in a way, I guess!

That makes sense..I didn’t realize the guy is even holding ego and clashing with his dad. I thought he was just feeling horrible and wanted to make up with his dad but it seems like they both are trying to score points with each other and poor Viveka. Hope she realizes what’s happening and looks out for herself. Satyen’s intentions might be good but putting Raanav down in the process may not be favorable for viveka or raanav’s relationship.

It was an old fashioned mangowood dresser with lights on the side and a nice tall carved mirror frame

It had many drawers and a pull out tray where hair accessories could be placed as the lady of the house got ready… the wood was curved into bowl shape for holding jasmine flower strings

“Secondly, In a state society, under government mandate we are often governed by rules we did not consent to, there are goddamn laws about everything, what we put in our bodies, how we conduct ourselves, whom we love

She wondered how his mere presence in the room could have a far more devastating effect on her senses than anything else

She took a long shaky breath and stumbled back leaning on the wall

He aroused her more quickly and intensely just by approaching her so purposefully

The sharp spine tingling sensation, as she realized her whole body was reacting to him not only in delight but also in mindless desire
