Jai Jagannath🙏🏽. In London, we have Rath yatra too. It starts from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square but this year it was cancelled. The lockdown is easing from 19 July but we are not free of covid. Almost 30,000 people are infected by delta variant every day.

I have been following that.. it's very worrisome. Moreover, football has made people irrational like faith does in India! Euro 2020 has been what Kumbh was or Rath Yatra or grand marriages are going to be here.. 😒

Duniya Dadi ki

He sat through the puja without complaining once, did every ritual the panditji was making everyone do, Naina was a little miffed that the pooja to celebrate her job turned out to be a “Naye poti ki pooja” for Harshu and Varshu and

“Naye dulhe dulhan” ki pooja for Vi and raanav

Satyen arrived promptly at 7 without Smrita

Rakshit and Lekha showed up at 8 when pooja was almost over

“There might be a surprise for u” Rakshit muttered to Raanav as the brothers sat side by side in the large living room emptied out (furniture placed in the hallway outside)

“mere liye?” Viveka smiled

“Nah… he needs to take care of that” Rakshit winked

“Kanjoos” Viveka said with a smile

Anu watched the dynamic between Lekha and Viveka and was disappointed

Lekha didn’t talk with Varsha nor Viveka

Dadi insinuated herself between every thing

“Hamare Harsha ka bhaag achha hai, tabhi ek aur showroom khulega batao” she told Raanav

He nodded amused

“Jab Savi ke do do bete hue mujhe achha nahi laga Lakshmi honi chahiye na?” Dadi was being pretentious

Anu looked like she would lunge and punch Dadi in the eyes

Akash held her hand tightly and sighed

“Ma jiske chaar chaar betiyan hui waha tumhe BETE chahiye the” Akash said with a chuckle

“Ek beta to jaroor hona tha, aage ka bhi to socho… nahi? Batao!” Dadi looked at Satyen

“Ek baat hai Amma mere 4 bete hotey main aapki charo potiyon ko apni beti banal eta, beton ka kya kaam” he flicked his hand disdainfully

Savi was shocked, she stared at him in admiration

Anu smiled with amusement

“You wont have any variety in samdhis you wll have to keep coming to our house and listen to all of Akash’s bad jokes”

“Shaadi ke 30 saal baad HUM bhi bad jokes bhi bad….( theatrically raising his arms)

Papa had a fantastic voice and was quite tuneful, he sang two lines as Ma blushed

Dadi huffed in a corner

Dadu laughed

Panditji interrupted loudly

Dadi reached touched felt and peered at the necklace in the first hour

Smrita was ready to punch Dadi was not giving her space

“DUNIYA MEIN NAHI HAI?” Dadi was shocked

“Nahi Dilli mein”

Viveka and twins were rolling on the floor

Dadi is irrepressible 😂 And it’s particularly satisfying when her lack of filter stokes Smrita!

Nisha, I love how you have brought out the intrinsic character of each of the Guptas and the Parashars in this chapter in the way you have them either speak, or think, or behave, or react.

Dadi is the best opponent for Smrita 😂😂😂

Kanjoos, Ranaav, Viveka just accused you of being Kanjoos. Prove her wrong.

Dadi might be despicable when she deals with Anu but is hilarious when she is dealing with Smrita.

One can love Dadi or hate her. But none can ignore her. 😆

Viveka and the twins were in charge of warming the subzis and pouring it out from the giant industrial tiffin carrier and bringing it with male cousins’ help to the dining table

The elderly sat in chairs along the wall

Dadu was feasting unnoticed

Dadi was busy gossiping with Garima Chachi’s cousin from east Delhi

“Sure… I can pack ur prashad” Anu said politely

“Aap yahi ruk jaayen subah Savi kachauri talne waalin hain” Anu smiled

“Savi ruk rahi hai?” Akash was giddy with happiness

“Chaliye mujhe balcony mein thodi jagah de dein” Satyen laughed

“Zaroor” Anu laughed

Smrita was furious

The light hearted flirting between Anu and him was making her real mad real fast

“Main raat ko 2 baje bhi chai pee sakti hoon agar aap jagey rahe to ban jaayega” Anu smiled

“Ab to koi chance nahi hai Anu ji I wont go I wont sleep”

“Ek gaana yaad aaya” Akash offered

Anu left………..

Viveka walked tentatively to where Naina and Raanav were

Naina’s expression changed

“Raanav do u want to eat?” Viveka checked

“umm sure…” he nodded

“Excuse me” Naina left

What exactly is Naina's problem?

Seems she has problem only with Viveka and will bad mouth Ranaav otherwise and when he is there along with her she will behave like a saint, Really?

I hope Ranaav gets that. He has been around girls. He knows who is attention seeker. But even if he knows he will have keep his mouth shut as Viveka would side with her sister.

Naina seems vindictive towards Viveka for no reason.

Viveka already has lot on her plate and if she is going to be taunted by mother in law for bond (not bond exactly) which Naina shares with Ranaav that would hurt Viveka no end.

Rannav take her to London permanently.

Viveka seems to have a low esteem of herself. She feels jealous of Naina talking to Raanav and it is so obvious to Smrita. Viveka herself gives ammunition to Smrita to make her look unsuitable to Raanav. She should be happy and proud that Raanav chose her and he is very happy with her.
