I think I won’t worry about anyone being nasty to Viveka if she has a husband who she can trust and who stands by her in her thick and thin.

Naina deserves to be happy and celebrated too. I just hope she is not up to something to spite Viveka. Viveka only had been good to her. She didn’t chase Ranaav. It was other way around. Infact she broke up coz of Naina. If not for ill health of Satyen, Viveka wouldn’t be married to Ranaav today.

Hope she has sense never to spill the beans to her parents as to why Viveka agreed to marry Ranaav.

Reasons & Ruse

“Congrats Naina” Viveka jumped up giggling ran off to hug her

Naina hugged her too

“I just caved and joined a big construction company that has many projects around Gurgaon”

“Klaus, Schaeffer, Schreiber” she said slowly

“OH WOW” “Those guys” Viveka was in awe

Papa and her had spread out their Sunday Metro insert, it opened up to cover half the living room

Glossy and luxurious

“That’s fantastic” Viveka sighed

“You don’t believe it?” Naina asked winking

“I DO Why would I NOT?” viveka was hurt

“You must have thought YEH TO GAYI, she is so love sick” Viveka giggled

“U might have Veev” Naina started walking toward her room

Viveka tried not to look at Papa her eyes might have betrayed her

He acted as if he was on a call

He gently muted his phone with his thumb in case an errant call came in and busted him

Viveka went after Naina

Naina was going through her closet humming

“Are you excited for the pooja?”

“Of course I am, I went to the parlor to get my face polished” she smiled disarmingly

“Tum abhi bhi mujhse naraaz ho” Viveka said softly

“Raanav will be here shortly I can talk to him and ask him… wh”

“Nahi bilqul nahi… please… and watch him lie thru his teeth? He is a lawyer, they actually teach them such sh—in law school” Naina approached the bathroom

“the outfit is lovely

“You bought it for me Veev when you got that royalty for publishing the article in the Russian journal”

“Oh haan” Viveka smiled with sudden awareness

Naina paused and the girls exchanged a look

Then she walked over to her room

Went through her favorite messy glass cupboard

Went to the balcony and leaned on the rail and read a couple of interesting articles she had written during her MPhil journey…

She saw Parashar kid’s shoes first, he never wore running/tennis shoes except for running

He always wore high end casual shoes

They usually greeted each other in the room with a kiss

“I guess” he leaned on the doorjamb and just looked at her

He looked delectable as always in navy pants and a orange and grey plaid shirt

She was wearing a olive green saree and a fire orange blouse with embroidered eye pattern

“You go first” he muttered

“Kis baat par?”

“Ah… um… 5? Umm.. maybe 4”

“Out of 3?” he chuckled

“Ha”

“My turn” he muttered

“On a scale of?”

“ 3?”

“Chalo”

He laughed

“2” “Because I cant touch you” he said slowly

The apartment was noisy and lively, they gazed at each other with longing

“U can rescore later” she urged

Papa had begun playing Hari Om Sharan Bhajans and Anup Jalota Bhajans from his classic collection

Dadi was yelling at Guddi

“What are you doing here” he quizzed

“Going down memory lane”

“Off the balcony?” he smiled trying to understand why she looked upset

“Funny” she smiled pushing her glasses up

“Am I allowed to make other bossy decisions?” he whispered laughing under his breath

His arms were crossed at his chest.

“Pushing your luck now?” she smiled

“Always” he promised

For now words will have to do, they decided as they looked at each other

Parashar kid can be charmer if he wants to be.

I think naina deserves a silent treatment from viveka!

Viveka is elder amd she is a teacher by herself. She should understand naina is going overboard! Stop being so stupid around naina, pls!

Naina is pushing all the buttons and still this idiot viveka is lovesick about her sister! If she had shown 1/10th of this consideration to raanav, they would heve settled emotionally!

If as readers, we get angry with the way Viveka is looked at or treated at the Parasher home, here Raanav also has no better opinion.

Naina does not have one ounce of respect for her own BIL. Seriously who talks like that about her BIL with her own sister.

And seriously what has Raanav done so wrong to Naina?

He has/had opinions about her and she about him.

Raanav is very perceptive and he sensed viveka was upset and was trying to cheer her. He probably believes he is the only one who can upset her and also use his charm to make her feel better too. But this time will see her through the depth of how viveka is feeling low or let down by her own self because she can’t achieve what she wants? Well I think with Naina issue she has lot of growing up to do.

Viveka misses her sister, the bond they shared so much.. But doesn't Naina care for it?

Is crucifying Viveka for what happened more important? Jealousy? Or is Veev delusional and their relationship has always been one sided?

It's heartening to see that atleast Aakash and Raanav realize Viveka's upset. Particularly Raanav, for he doesn't know what's wrong but still tries to cheer her up! ♥️♥️

It was Jagdeesh Swami's RathYatra today.. it's a special occasion for my family.

So, I just want to wish all of you loads of good health like the three Gods.. I wish we can soon freely leave our homes and travel wherever like them too! 😆

Jai Jagannath🙏🏽. In London, we have Rath yatra too. It starts from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square but this year it was cancelled. The lockdown is easing from 19 July but we are not free of covid. Almost 30,000 people are infected by delta variant every day.
