"Why would she do that?" Parul sobbed

"I don;t think she meant for him to come after me" Tapan said grimly

Gagan's parents were shaken up in all the commotion they wanted to leave immediately

The shouting and name calling didnt stop much to Parul's embarrassment

Manik could be heard all the way across the parking lot as Vyas ushered them to the car

Gagan and Tapan were standing in the balcony going over what had happened for an hourish

Shubhra claimed her Dad had asked her where she was and she had told him she was at Khan Market

Parul was suspecting Shubhra wanted the show down

Because she had told Parul briefly by the car before Tapan and her headed out for wine that her "Dad had asked her to really think about it"

Parul in that moment had taken it to mean "I am OK with the choice you have made. I will reluctantly agree to marry you off to Tapan"

But within the next hour when Manik created a ruckus Parul began questioning the whole thing

Her conclusion was Shubhra was already fully brain washed and she was there so her Dad could join later and blast Tapan and maybe even hurt him

"This is SO not OK" she warned Tapan tearfully

"I am sorry" he hugged her

"He shoved me almost physically back on to the hood of the Mercedes parked behind me, license plate mein mera dupatta phat gaya" she wept softly

Tapan closed his eyes cringing

"I dont know about this whole thing anymore"

"Did YOU tell her we are at Khan Market?"

"She and I had a fight remember because I wouldnt go drop her off at Mehrauli"

"Hmm.. even if her bumping into was coincidental WHY would she tell her Dad we were there"

"Koi baat nahi, chal mujhe de de dhakka" Gagan tried to make light of it

"All those people... Godd!!" Parul risned a saucepan and stopped and pulled her pony tail back and let her face turn red closing her eyes

More than maniks action, parul got more hurt by the fact that shubhra chose her father over them

Parul has reached her saturation point. It was actually too much for a simple person like her to have to deal with this. I think she is so right in her place to think the way she is right now about Shubhra. Can’t even blame her.

Shubhra wtf are you thinking? Even after everything if you choose to side with Manik... then good luck girl... leave Tapan and go find yourself another Pawan because your family is shit!

Maybe Shubhra left with Manik to cool things down. I just hope that is what she was thinking. Manik shoving Parul was the ultimate proof how nasty Manik is. Doing that to a woman? Come on man. She is not one of your goons.

I would like it if Shbhra left with Manik to give him a showdown of her own at home. She needs to take a stand and now. Otherwise she is doomed.

I can't agree with Parul that Shubhra wanted the showdown to happen. What makes her think that? Just the fact that she left with her father? Fear, anger, wanting to sideline the situation can be some reasons why she would go with him. Her disappointment is understandable that she didn't come with them.

Parul's shaken up lots. First the two run - ins with Gagan in his car, the recent last one getting him hospitalized for treatment. Now this violence and the public humiliation of their middle class aukaat in eyeing a so called price catch in loaded shubhra ( sadly that's a farce) and the double embarrassment of not only getting her in laws stuck in the clash, all the dirty mud slinging out in the open. Parul's in laws had no great idea of the history between these two and now they will know.

Tapan's stuck batting for his fiancé having to defend her position and he wouldn't have imagined doing it against a wavering parul of all the people.

For once we have a 'no saint 'parul. 😅

She caled Parul

Morning was spent in a daze, Amma made breakfast

"Tapan... is everything OK?"

"Yes it is" he said after staring at the text for a while

"I am caling you"

She called again

He answered

"What is going on?"

"Nothing just busy getting Arya to the bus stop"

"I am sorry I had to leave like that last night"

He didnt answer

"Why are you not responding"

"I am trying to weave my way thru traffic" he mumbled

Of her two parents she did love her Dad
