She woke up wanting to throw up, and almost fell over the dog when she got off bed, yelping in fear
He was in the living room on his laptop
Toast growled wanting to be cuddled by her
She ran into the bathroom retched... A designer architecture digest bathroom... she lamented
She stepped out her face buried in a towel and lay down
He was leaning on the door
Toast climbed over the bed and sniffed her, she squeaked and scrambled across the bed
Getting tangled in sheets, Avyaan didn't do the warning whistle like he usually did, the dog sniffed her to his heart's content
she collapsed on her belly panting in fear exposing the telltale bulge in her lower belly
"Oh! Whatever... I don't care... maul me she groaned exhausted covering her eyes with the crook of her arm
"He needs to wait his turn"... not so fast!! Dont offer yourself up" "You owe me a mauling"
he exclaimed silkily
She scooted back and sat up slowly "What do u mean?" she scowled
Not looking at him, but at the large windows overlooking the dense foliage/ trees around the property
"Umm.. never mind"
"Hungry? he asked blandly
"No she said shaking her head and looking at him
"Of course not he murmured
"Ive eaten here all the time she said primly
"How are u feeling?
"Like shit she whimpered...
"I am sorry he said softly
He didn't sound like it
"You probably think I deserve it she said turning towards him
"Uh... uh... ah... not so fasttt he said tauntingly
"Whatt?
"I get to accuse first he said "Remember? I go first today
She turned red...
The dog had decided to curl up by her upper body... stiffening even if she made a slight movement
"Can he go down? she begged
"Samidha... he wont hurt you
"Did u see what he just did?
"He was sniffing... he knows somethin's different
She blushed...
"Atleast someone here knows he mocked
"Umm
"I am waiting...
"I wasn't in hiding... or running away she blurted
"I hope not...
"We know this was just a casual thing. We both agreed we would keep it that way
"Yes... all true... until one of us got pregnant"
She looked at him when he mocked
"You said YOU were taking care of it"
she blushed
"I did... name one time... one time he removed his right hand from his cargo pant pocket and raised one finger... "I didn't use protection
She hung her head
"We hooked up like 50 times? 60? Name one time?"
he growled
She shook her head staring at the rapidly rising and falling furry body of the gentle giant laying by her
"I believed I was infertile she said softly
"You are NOT he said bluntly
"Lets eat he said firmly
The dog understood that, got off the bed, and panted
T: C'mon Samidha, lets go... Food time... Yumm... Cmon...
Avyaan waited until she got off the bed
She went to the kitchen to see if anything needs to be brought to the dining table
He had already... there was khichri... it smelled great
"Have u had khichri before? he asked politely
She nodded "Its called Pongal my ajji makes yummy Pongal
His lips twitched at her childish attempt to sound worldly
He served himself some, and handed her the ladle
"I am just going to throw up she told him wisely "I am sorry she said
"Oh u have plenty to be sorry about he said gobbling the food

"No its not spicy
She unenthusiastically served herself a ladle and played around with it
Toast looked glum
T:You guys... What about friend chicken and, and lamb?
He handed Toast a slice of banana bread on the center from breakfast
T: This is kinda OK but me want meat boy!
A: So were you ever going to tell me? Or just have the baby in anonymity?
Her chest pounded rapidly
"I didn't know if you wanted the baby"
"You've been making every decision about this relation ship Samidha"
he said unhappily
"You wanted that too"
"No I did not... you have been calling the shots"
"U said we were not going to expect anything"
"that was two freaking months after hooking up 100 times"
"Umm.."
"What?"
"Its OK if u don't want the baby"
He stared dumb founded "Umm.. WHATT? what I even say?"😡
"I am having her"
"IT'S A GIRL? he asked stunned
"Well... I don't know yet... wont... its unlawful" she said smugly
"Hang on... I am confused... you made up ur mind not to tell me?
"Nooo"
Why did you not tell me then?
"I was not trying to trap you"
"Did I say that? WHEN did I say that Samidha?"
he was hopping mad
She had no answer...
"Just eat!!"
he blew fire from his nostril
She ate what was on her plate and began rinsing dishes in the sink to load the dishwasher
"Do u have clothes to wear for the night?
He asked appearing in the kitchen doorway
"Can I go home... to my house?"
"NO"
he said firmly, leaving her with the faucet running
T: I was going to suggest that... I mean... how crazy is she huh? Huh? I mean... U did the right thing pal "Good job😆
He followed her wagging his tail as she chased him
"Avi... I have to go"
"I am sorry "Nope"
"You know now... why cant I go?"😡
"I don't trust you. I am certain you will vanish and I will never see my child
"she is MINE
"Snowflakes in hell she is not"
he hissed
