From four sons to three. Whatever circumstances , to loose one forever is very tough. Senior vaidya is going to Have a sitting with Avantika. I think it's going to be a icebreaker of sorts

Lakshmi is worried about her son not smiling, lady please worry about your grandson more-the only thing left of your 3rd son. Your son is an adult and can handle himself, your grandson is still a kid and dependent on the adults in his life making the right choices.😕

Teeku should have made sure Chandan apologizes. There is really no excuse for it.

Harit also should have apologized, there is no excuse for his words either.

Kala I thought Lakshmi meant avantika doesn't have a smile on her face

If senior vaidya gives Avantika an ear to her challenges and the uphill battle , in the state of mind she in now, teeku coukd thaw a bit and get working on chandu to apologize to the girls . All she needs is someone for her to hear her out

Chandan ka paalna evam palna

"Chandu aur aapka sambandh nirala hai Sita Ram sat in his tall over stuff stately chair in his chamber downstairs, hands linked fingers drumming on each other, he smiled genuinely

"Aap us din jab tadapkar aayin, who baat hamey shaayad kabhi nahi bhoolegi beta he smiled his eyes sparkling

She nodded unconvinced

Being in the judge's chambers gave her the heebie jeebies. It reminded her of hanging on to that child in the immediate months after Srishti's passing.

The most recent event of how he was taken from her and how she waited in this very lobby hoping to get a glimpse of him

"Beta aap hamari ek baat maanengi?

She nodded slowly

"Ya aap salah dein hamey ya humse lein jaise bhi

She nodded again

"Chandu ko abhi aur waqt lagega he sighed, cleared his throat fighting tears when he realized that subconsciously the kid will forever be in a "waiting mode

Waiting for his parents

Waiting for things to be as they were before

A portion of his mind probably still clung to that last day when he spent with them

Just like he himself clung to that last moment when he saw Hemant get in that car, under the shadu peepal outside, pausing for a second to check a scrape on his thumb... then sitting down and the door shutting

"Umm.. Baujee? she mumbled

His eyes were brimming with tears

"I am sorry she nodded beginning to weep herself

"Kya kahen aapse? Batayen? Do saal pal mein nikal gaye, aur ab dekhen to he sniffled

She nodded confused

"Kya kehte hain Chandu aapse? Man mein koi dukh hai? he choked unable to speak, imagining the child telling Teeku that he missed his parents dearly

She shook her head crying... tear drops flying in every direction

"Umm... kya baat unko sata rahi hai beta? Sita Ram leaned back on his red velvet upholstered over stuffed high back chair

"Umm... who shaayad dar gaye... jab yaha aaye pehli baar Teeku explained

"Unko Dilli se yaha nahi laana chahiye tha? Sita Ram looked shocked

Teeku assumed he was accusing her of some wrong doing

"Hum... aise... hum hum...

"Beta... Harit bahut determined hain... Kya kehte hain? Resolute hain he smiled gently

She nodded trying to care

"He has a sharp mind Sita Ram beamed

"And a sharp tongue? Teeku thought

"Kya? Sita Ram probed

She shook her head

"Kahen beta

"Who Chandan ke har harqat ki... he believes I am responsible she said softly

"Aap to Ma hain Sita Ram nodded with pride

She stared at him wondering how she would explain to him that Harit was accusing her of being a rich spoilt brat...

"Hum laad mein zaroor paley hain par kabhi kisi se badtameezi nahi ki

Sita Ram cringed unable to defend his son any better, he explained

"Beta He was seeing his mother... Hamari missus... he smiled sheepishly "Aapki Ma he chuckled at the missus reference "She became very ill. BP was high, she had to be admitted, she has a pacemaker now

He lowered his gaze

In Teeku's mind it still did not justify taking that child away like that

"Unke hisaab se... aap do saal Chandu ke ... Chandu ko paal chukin... to ab yahan unko lane mein aapko koi aapatti nahi honi chahiye Sita Ram himself did not believe in the logic he had presented

"Aisa sochkar laaye who Chandu ko Bareilly Sita Ram grunted and spoke again when she stayed silent, trying to urge her to respond. "Ek taraf Ma ki haalat... doosri taraf... Bus Chandu hain Hemant Sita Ram choked up again

"Chandu ko paalna is ghar ki zimmedari sochkar... "Matlab do saal Hemant ke baad... uske pehle 3 saal... Ma to dekhin nahi

"Chandu hamare hain... Hisaab nahin... hisaab kaise karenge hum Teeku looked at him clearly and spoke reverentially trying to describe the mysterious attachment she felt for that kid

According to me that is all the more reason for them that they should not have taken chandu away the way he took.

He is kid who didn't know anyone apart from Tikku for those two years and suddenly he was displaced. I am not sure how much he was hurt after losing his parents but this has had big impact on him.

And Good one Tikku. He is her kid and not hisaab.

Very touching update between Sita Ram and Teeku...I feel really bad for Chandu 😭
I find it interesting that Sita Ram was the one who wanted to break the ice and wanted to clear the air. It wasn't Harit, who instigated the action, nor was it Lakshmi, who was in a health decline before Chandu was brought to the Vaidyas.

I don't understand - why do the Vaidyas think Teeku agreed to raise Chandu? Like what was her motivation to basically become a single mom (and have all these comments and snide remarks made about her), even though it wasn't her child or her responsibility? Did they try to even think about her side of the story or what circumstances may have lead her to take on Chandu?

Also, Hemant Vaidya staying away for 3 years, even after the birth of his first child leads me to wonder what happened to break up his relationship with his family?

Also do they think that a kid won't be traumatized by these actions? Suddenly you pull him away from the life that he has known for 2 years after losing his parents-wont there be a consequence to it? did they think Teeku was so inept that the kid would be much happier with their family?

UP Brahmin family disown their kid incase of inter caste marriage.
