Oh he's so good RG. Music was standout. It was our first live stand up comedy. It was sold out and we were pleasantly surprised. There's another stand up comedian Amit Tandon coming to our part of town. This one is in Hindi and English . He's also good. Got the tickets to watch this as well.

at least Sita ram ji isn't convinced by his own argument. thanks goodness for that because his son certainly left no stone unturned in uprooting that little kid who had already been uprooted once. children are resilient but how can harit not understand that chandu could have been traumatized by the experience of having been suddenly taken away from school by a strange man he has probably never seen in his life and whisked to a city, a house full of strange people. acting out and behaving he way he does is perhaps his way of expressing anger. he might need counselling. scolding him too much or disciplining him like normal children wont help here. he is angry, upset, scared and trying his best to vent through his actions because he can't explain his feelings.

Teeku giggled as she imagined her lanky husband wearing the gaon ki dhoti crouched under the village tree, in front of a man who used one of those coarse old fashioned brushes, Harit holding a old cracked mirror, as the man used a shiny old blade to wipe off the foam from his cheek

"Alka aapse naraaz nahi hai beta Lakshmi said softly

Teeku stiffened

"Umm... hum bhi nahi she said primly

"Aap dekho, Gauri ko chot lagi, phir bhi maafi maangi na unhoney? Aap Chandu se bhi mangwaayein... mwah mwah Lakshmi coaxed

"Chandu bahut pareshaan hain... unse hum zabardasti kuch karwa nahi paate Teeku bristled

Lakshmi sighed

She was going to ask Teeku to apologize to Alka for implying Gauri deserved to be struck

But considering how the young girl went on the defensive Lakshmi aborted the plan

"Aap laa paayenge? she insisted to Harit

"Aap kitne baje jaatin hain? he asked gruffly

"1:45 ko release hai, hum 1:30 taq chale jaate hain she said softly

"Aur kuch? he asked politely

"Jee... aur kuch nahi she said softly trying to hang up until she heard her name on his lips after a week

"Umm..Avantika... aap neeche aa jaayengi? Hamey 2:15 ek defendant ke saath meeting hai

"Jee she nodded

They both hung up aching

the more I read about teeku, the more I like her. she's got grit, determination, and she is well mannered and knows how to behave and adjust.

And the best is she loves Chandu unconditionally..., which speaks volume of her character!!
It's not easy to become a single mother to your friends child at 24 years of age... and forget everything else and revolve your life around the child only
