As soon as Khushi nodded his eyes turned red in rage and before anyone can understand, Arnav was standing in front of Shyam who looked visibly scared and punched right on his face making everyone gasp and Anjali screamed.

Arnav : "Bas***d! How dare you? How dare you to eye my wife? he screamed holding Shyam from his collar.
Anjali: "Chotte Stop! Don't forget he is your jija ji (brother-in-law) she screamed trying to stop him by holding his hand.
Arnav: "You stay out of it Di. I know what I am doing, I just wish I have got to know it earlier I would have killed this filth long ago. He answered throwing more punches at Shyam instead of stopping.
Anjali(crying): Please stop Chotte, you're angry right now and don't know what you are doing. He is my husband Chotte, please leave him. She cried trying to stop him looking at the blood on Shyam's face.
Khushi looked at everything stunned, she didn't know how one-moment Arnav ji was standing close to her, holding her and next moment he is beating Shyam. Her heart felt relief looking at Shyam's state and Arnav's trust on her but Anjali's pleadings pulled her out of her thoughts and she saw how Arnav almost pushed her behind in his rage as he continued to beat Shyam. Looking at crying Anjali, holding her tummy and pleading him to stop she herself ran to stop Arnav.
Khushi: "Arnav ji please ruk jaiye, bas kijiye. (Please stop, it's enough) at least look at Di. She spoke holding his hands as she came in front of him. Though he first ignored her but stopped at her soothing touch and turned to look back at Anjali.
Arnav: Di... Interrupted by Anjali.
Anjali: "Enough! I don't want to hear anything, you have shown how much you trust and care for me. She limped towards Shyam hugging him leaving Arnav shocked.
Arnav: Di what are you doing? Didn't you hear what this bas***d have been doing?
Anjali: Stop calling him that. Don't forget he is my husband and yes I heard everything but I believe my husband, I have myself seen the true face of your so called wife.
Akash: But Di, what Payal and Khushi are saying we can't ignore that either. I really think we should look deep into this matter before coming to any conclusion because just like bhai (brother) said Khushi is not like this and even Payal is saying this.
Anjali: "Wow! Both sisters have my brothers dancing on their fingers. So I don't think my words will matter anything but let me tell you I wouldn't bear anyone saying anything wrong about my husband and don't even think of raising a single finger on him. She completed looking at Arnav.
Arnav (angrily): I'll bloody kill him.
Nani: Enough you two! Don't forget your elders are still alive and I haven't raised my children with so much love to see them standing against each other.
Anjali: But Nani, look at Chotte how he has raised his hand on my husband. How can he forget he is elder to him and son-in-law of this family.
Payal: Just like you forgot that Khushi is also his wife and daughter-in-law of this family when you raised your hand on her and was badmouthing her.
Anjali: She deserves that.
Payal: And so is your husband, in fact, more than that.
Nani: Don't start again.
Arnav: But Payal is right Nani.
Arnav: Nani I have myself experienced the change in Khushi from the day of our marriage, she had started staying lost and scared. First I ignored thinking it is because of coming into a new family but we all know that Khushi has been here even before marriage so it shouldn't have taken her so much time to be comfortable. But she didn't in fact when I didn't use to be at home she used to stay in our room locking it or tagging around with Payal. I have asked her but she denied and told me that she'll tell everything when right time come and now hearing Payal everything makes sense.
Anjali: Wow so this drama was going from a long time now.
Nani: Stop it Anjali! Payal and Arnav are right. I don't know who is saying truth or who is lying but one thing is true Arnav and Akash is not wrong either, they are just supporting their wives just like you're supporting your husband.
Anjali: Nani you're also supporting them? I am the daughter of this house and my family is trusting and supporting outsider who have hardly entered in our family a few months ago.
Arnav (angrily): Khushi and Payal aren't outsiders, they are family.
Nani: Exactly! You're disappointing me Anjali, I haven't raised you with these values. When Arnav and Akash got married we have promised Gupta's that their daughters will be our daughters from now on. They came here leaving their family and accepted our family and their own, you can't call them outsiders. In fact, they have more right than you on this home now.
Anjali (shocked): Nani! Are you comparing me to them?
Nani: No I am telling you that now you, Khushi and Payal are equal in this family. Therefore I can't judge them over few words. Akash is right we need to look deep into this matter before taking any decision. We know damad ji from years but I have also seen enough in this life to judge that Khushi bitiya is also not like you're saying.

Shyam composed himself who was struggling after getting badly hurt by Arnav's punches and looked shocked how things have been turning worse. He instantly jumped to do the damage control, the idea already forming in his mind.
Shyam: You're right Nani ji! This is not where Rani Sahiba rightfully belongs and it's my mistake I shouldn't have heard your request to stay here instantly but that time I didn't think of anything but happiness of my Rani Sahiba who didn't want to stay alone without a family and I also got selfish thinking I'll also get a family to call my own but I never thought a day like this will come.
Anjali (with teary eyes): Shyam ji..
Shyam: "No Rani Sahiba let me complete! You also don't, believe me, that's fine but at least don't hurt Rani Sahiba in this condition he said looking at her stomach.

Arnav looked at her helplessly and then Khushi who took a step back urging him to choose Anjali and closed his eyes before uttering those few words he knew will shock everyone. "Then I wouldn't stop you Di, like Nani, said now this is Khushi's home also and I can't tell her to leave knowing she is innocent and your husband's beside you to take care of you so how can I leave my life alone?
"Therefore if you feel you should go with your husband I wouldn't stop you. maybe we were wrong at the first place in forcing you and your husband to stay here instead of his home but now I wouldn't do the same mistake. You are free to decide what you want but Khushi wouldn't go anywhere.

Khushi looked at Arnav's back, after entering inside their room he left her hand and left for poolside closing the sliding door behind him. She badly wanted to go behind him and ask for forgiveness for hiding about Shyam and also thank him for standing up for him but sadly she have no courage to face him now. Above all she knows he is badly hurt because of Anjali Di's decision and words and it must have been very difficult for him to go against his Di but he have to do this because of her today.
Arnav looked at the dark sky, today he is close to loose his mother again. He didn't even try to wipe his tears Anjali has been a mother figure in his life from always and after the demise of their mother. Now if his Di decided to leave him he'll again lose his mother but what could he possibly do he badly wanted to support Anjali, console her and stop her from even thinking about going away but one look at Khushi's face and he knew he can't leave her alone either. She was looking so broken and eager to prove her innocence, so scared about his answer like her whole life depends on it, like his one answer can prove the questions raised on her character right or wrong.
He sighed wiping his tears when his phone beeped indicating a new message. He frowned looking at Akash's name and opened it "Bhai! Di is leaving. His eyes widened and he instantly walked outside with a confused and nervous Khushi following him. He stopped not walking downstairs and clutched the railing helplessly looking at his family trying to stop Anjali and make her understand in fact now even tht bas***d husband of hers but she is not ready to hear anything.
Shyam cursed himself for even saying about leaving the house, he thought Arnav would never let his sister go away. In fact he have expected him to leave Khushi the moment he will see his sister's tears but the plan backfired. He really thought that the family wouldn't let them leave but Arnav again surprised him telling Anjali that she can leave if she wants. In room while Anjali was packing he tried his best to make her stop telling how he don't want her to go away from her family and chotte and blab la but suddenly the self respect of this women have been awaken and she decided to not stay where her husband is insulted.
Mami: Anjali my dear please stop, don't take Arnav's word on heart. You know how much he loves you.
Anjali: That he have proved by choosing his wife over me Mami. Now when he have decided to support his wife then I think it's good if I also stand for my husband and his respect.
Nani: I don't understand why are you not ready to understand others POV, it's possible that may be this all is a misunderstanding. But no you don't want to hear anything and just dropped the bomb on Arnav to choose between you and Khushi.
Anjali: there I no misunderstanding and I have already told this but Chotte (Arnav) didn't hear me and went on standing on his wife's side. And Nani, you also told me that now I don't have right on this house.
Nani: I never said that! I just told what is truth and now Khushi and Payal holds equal rights on this house which you need to accept.
Anjali: Yea right everyone is saying truth and supporting right even without witnessing and knowing everything whereas I am the only wrong here even after saying that I have witnessed everything.
Shyam: Rani Sahiba! Think again, I know you can't stay away from Arnav, yes I know today you are badly hurt because of him but I guess Nani ji is right, it must have been too much for him to take.
Anjali: You are very good Shyam ji , you are still thinking about us but I don't think I can take what happened here today. We should leave now.
Nani: But ... interrupted by Arnav.

Everyone turned to look at Arnav who was now walking downstairs and stopped few steps away from where all are standing. "We have done this mistake earlier by forcing Di to stay with us rather then her husband's place and I think it's high time we stop interfering.
Nani: "But I know you don't want it yourself she cried.
Arnav (smiling painfully): It doesn't matter! It doesn't matter when the sister whom I have always considered as my mother is ready to turn her back on me just because I decided to support my wife. It doesn't matter when she have clearly forgot that throughout this life after mother's death I have only lived for her, thinking about her comfort, her happiness but she can only see her husband. It doesn't matter when she is not ready to trust my judgment, my belief even when she knows I can never deliberately think of hurting her. Therefore if she thinks moving out with her husband is best decision for her then who are we to stop when I have always thought about her happiness and granted her every wish then let her do this also.
Anjali wiped her tears and looked at him, she looked at everyone when her eyes fell on Khushi and her fears and insecurities returned. So ignoring Nani's helpless look and Mami's request to stop she turned and taking Shyam's hand left with him. Looking at everything from above Khushi whimpered feeling the pain behind those words said by Arnav, she knew it was his last try to indirectly stop Anjali but she failed him.
Arnav took his car keys and instantly left for a drive and slowly everyone disappeared into their rooms, sad over the turn of events and departure of their beloved daughter. No one noticed her standing and crying behind the pillar except Payal and she instantly hugged her sister thanking her for her support.
Payal took her inside the room and made her sit before handling her water to drink. Khushi kept crying blaming herself for everything even after Payal tried hard to make her understand that it wasn't her fault. But Arnav's broken face and pain in his voice coming back to her again and again making her fragile heart feel guilty. Payal herself cried caressing her little sister to sleep and then left the room, closing the door behind her.
Somewhere in middle of night screeching of tires broke Khushi's sleep and she realized that Arnav is back. Sighing in relief she composed herself and walked outside unknown of what is awaiting for her. Unknown that her fragile hearts have to bear the more pain of distance and ignorance.

Arnav straightly entered the room without answering her anything and started taking out his clothes to change from the wardrobe. Khushi gulped her tears looking at his indifference but gathering some courage she started again
"Arnav ji I know you're hurt but trust me I never wanted to hurt Di. I know how much hurt you are because of Di's decision but...She got cut off by Arnav.
Arnav turned towards her angrily "But what? And what did you just say you know how hurt I am? liar! And I should trust you? why?
Khushi (sobbing): Arnav ji!!
Arnav (clutching her from shoulders): Tell me why Khushi? Why should I trust you? So you can again hide things from me as you like?
Arnav left her with a jerk as his expressions turned painful "I did everything. Everything from the night I confessed my Love for you, everything because of which you can get comfortable with me, everything by which I can make you trust me. I have even gone ahead marrying you all of a sudden because I thought you need an assurance that this, between us, my feelings are not any ploy but serious and for always.
Arnav chuckles as he continued "But look it seems I failed in it, I failed in it very bad.
Khushi: No Arnav ji... cut off by him.
Arnav: No! you have proved it yourself that I have failed otherwise why would my wife hide from me that someone is trying to molest her under my nose? Why will she hide that there's a snake living among my family, with my sister?

Khushi: "Arnav ji! What are you saying? I never wished for Di to take this step. I thought you trust me, you trust me and therefore you supported me. She cried in shock.
Arnav: "I did! I did trust you otherwise why would I let my sister leave this house. But like I said you didn't trust me enough. I failed otherwise you would have confided in me, you would have told me the truth.
"I always tried to understand you, understand behind your silence and that led me to ask you those questions that night. I asked you, I asked you if there's anything I should know but you stayed quiet. I told you that I never want a day to come where I have to choose between Di and you but look it happened today.
"We could have fought together, tried together, I could have handled it in my way than may be what happened today could be avoided.
"Yes! I trusted you. I trusted you so much to go against my mother like sister but you! You failed me Khushi. You failed me as a husband, as a brother.
"Today my sister denied to believe my decisions, and I don't blame her you know because she just supported her partner. The partner who told her what he is feeling, the partner who made his points clear in front of her, truth or lie doesn't matter but he at least told her, who had given him reasons to trust him unlike my wife who didn't found me this much capable of sharing her feelings with me, to share her fears with me, to seek my support.
Khushi was crying badly till now, she always thought she is doing all this to save everyone from pain but she never knew one day it'll cause them more pain, especially Arnav. He has not failed, neither he had failed her but she somewhere failed him as a wife. She didn't even try to tell him anything in her fears, she somewhere got selfish, selfish that she'll lose him that she failed to understand his Love for her. She would have at least tried to tell him everything he would have supported her and even if he didn't, at least she wouldn't be having any regrets for hiding something so crucial from him.

Arnav keeps his head on door hearing her knocking and asking him to open the door. Throwing his clothes away he fisted his hands on his sides trying his best to not open the door and take her into his arms to stop her from crying but he was way too much hurt today because of the two women who meant the world for him but both have disappointed him today. He has always tried to support them, loved them but they still didn't trust him enough. One showed her did trust by not sharing her fears and pain so other thought that he is being selfish in his love to ignore his brotherly love for his sister.

Note: Those who thinks, Arnav is being absurd or jerk because he is ignoring Khushi after supporting her then sorry guys I don't find him wrong, he is too much hurt. He is completely right in his place, it is not necessary to declare him jerk also.

Next day Khushi woke up with great difficulty with a headache and body ache because she fell asleep near poolside in front of the closed door. As soon as she remembered the happenings of last night her eyes opened wide, she looked around to find herself in bed and then she saw Arnav who was already in his three-piece suit and now making his hairs standing in front of the mirror.
She smiled thinking that Arnav must have brought her inside the room and he is also here in their room. She comes out of bed and walks towards Arnav " Arnav ji! Are you ready? Why didn't you wake me up? Wait I'll bring your coffee right away and also your breakfast.
She turned to go but Arnav's voice stopped her "You don't need to do that, I'll have something in office.
Khushi "But Arnav ji I'll make it in few minutes, please don't go without having breakfast.
Arnav gulped hearing her, the sadness in her voice made his heart clench painfully "Khushi I am here because I don't want the family to make any assumptions or point at our relationship. No one should know that I slept in another room and there's some problem between us. Already there's so much going on, we don't need to add something new. So cut the formalities and get ready for your classes, I'll drop you on my way.
Saying this he left the room leaving Khushi in tears. She composed herself willing to do everything to make Arnav forgive her and bring the happiness of this family back. She knew somewhere she has done wrong by hiding Shyam's truth from this family, if not Anjali then she could have told this truth to anyone in the family. She was no one to decide what is good for this family and what is not. Even after knowing Shaym's truth she has kind of risked Anjali's and his family's life by not telling his true colours to the. What if, something wrong would have happened with anyone, who would have been responsible.
And then her second mistake, even after getting married to Arnav and experiencing his Love, care and trust she still didn't tell him about Shyam. She for once turned selfish unlike her selfless nature, she feared to lose Arnav, she feared to lose the Love he was bestowing on her and she stayed quiet thinking if he didn't believe her she'll lose it all.
Arnav's anger and disappointment, however much hurt her right now but she knows he is not wrong and now it's her turn to make it up to him. She'll try her best to earn his trust and Love again and she'll do that. She knows he is just angry and disappointed, he still loves her and trusts her with the way he has supported her and this is enough reason for her to fight for his love and gain that same love and trust back.
When Khushi walked downstairs Arnav was sitting on the dining table with Nani ji and feeding her, himself. She understood why he is on breakfast table when he wasn't even willing to have coffee. He is just trying to make family come out of the shock of the happenings of yesterday. Khushi was also going to walk towards them but fearing about family's reaction to her she stepped back but Arnav has already noticed her, he was silently waiting for her to join but when he saw her taking steps back, he called her and asked her to have her breakfast.
With slow and nervous steps she walks towards them and sits on the chair beside Arnav. She looks at others who were having their breakfast silently or should say playing with it. With a sigh, she served herself a little and looked at Arnav who was asking Nani to complete her breakfast then take her medicines while himself biting on his sandwich but the silence was broken by Manorama.
Manorma "I can't believe the daughter of this house has left this house and we don't know where she is and here the reason behind it sitting among us and acting like nothing has happened. She snorted looking at Khushi in anger and disgust and Khushi cringed looking at the disgust in her eyes for her. Her spoon fell from her hand and she tried to get up, gulping her tears before they can fall down when Arnav held her hand asking her to sit back and complete her breakfast.
Arnav "Mami I know you're worried about Di and we all are but I have told it yesterday also that I believe in Khushi and Shyam was the lying. About where is Di, well wherever she is, she is with her husband whom she trusted more than her own brother. So I don't think you need to worry too much about her if you think her decision was right.
Mami looked away unable to reply him back but Arnav still continued, "And I don't want anyone, and I mean it anyone from this family treating Khushi and Payal bad in any way. They did what they thought will be best for the family, so let's finish it here only.
After that, no one said anything and completing their breakfast Arnav took Nani ji to her room and asked Khushi to wait in the car. Payal also looked at Akash who have just like his brother have shown his disappointment in her last night and talking with her only when necessary and her Mother-in-law have just got an another excuse to taunt her, ignore her but she'll try her best. Arnav was sitting in his cabin, though in front of him laptop was open with lots of files around but he was lost. His mind was lost in thinking about the sudden changes in their life, just few days ago he was feeling a luckiest man. He had everything but after Khushi came in his life she filled the emptiness of his heart also and then Di was also pregnant, just when he thought everything is going perfect in their life, this storm hit them hard.
He looked at Akash who entered inside after knocking the door and they started discussing about some deal. After that there was silence as both brothers were feeling it difficult to talk their heart out but still wanted to talk.
Akash (clearing his throat): How are you feeling Bhai (Brother)?
Arnav: "Fine! Why do you ask? he asked confused.
Akash: Because I know how whatever happened yesterday must have hurt you.
Arnav nodded before silence prevailed again and this time Arnav started "Do you.. Do you have any idea about any of this before?
Akash "I wish I had.
Arnav: Ohhh
Arnav: I am glad you supported Payal and Khushi.
Akash: I had to! From what I know them they are kind souls and can never think something so cheap they were excused off.
Arnav: So you're not angry with Payal?
Akash (sighs): I am! But I guess more then angry I am just simply disappointed that she choose to hide this truth from me instead of confiding in me.
Arnav(lost in his thoughts): "This is where I am stuck! Why? Why she stayed quiet all along instead of letting me know? he spoke asking questions from himself rather then Akash.
Akash: "I know it's disappointing bhai (bro) but now if I think from their POV, I think they were not wrong either. Though we have been married but from how long we guys know each other? How much we know about each other's life or past. We all have our share of fears and insecurities and I guess they also choose to hide it for their fears otherwise we both know how innocent and selfless both sisters are. They stayed quiet even after that bas***d was trying to get his dirty hands on Khushi ji is enough proof of how much they cared for Di and family then themselves.

Arnav started speaking again trying hard to control his anger "You're right Akash! They are innocent and had their own insecurities of being judged wrongly in their new family. Payal was trying to handle everything along with safeguarding her sister. After a pause "Excuse me Akash I need to go somewhere, see you later. With that he stormed outside leaving Akash alone to think what he should do and himself giving instructions on phone to someone.
In a secluded area Arnav was leaning on his car when his gaze turned towards the car which stopped just beside him. He looked sharply as two men pulled a shocked Shaym Manohar Jha from inside and pushed him towards him.
Shaym: Saale-e-Sahab (Brother-in-law)! What are you doing here? And these men? Have they brought me here... Arnav cuts him off.
Arnav: On my instructions!
Shyam: But why?
Arnav: To complete which I left in between because of my sister whom you are using amazingly.
Shyam: What are you... again Arnav interrupts him in between.
Arnav: Can we just cut this crap? You and I, both are aware of your real face, so now stop pretending. Right now even Di is not here to watch your drama and fall into your traps.
Shyam suddenly smirked evilly and looked at him with smile "That's great! Saves me from another round of drama. So tell me why you brought me here? What do you want?
Arnav: What do I want? All I want is to kill you right here, right now for even eyeing my wife.
Shyam: "You can't blame me here after all she is so adorable and sexy unknown to even herself. There is something in her that pulls me to her and make her min... " his words left hanging as a punch landed on his face.
Arnav: "How dare you? how dare you talk about my wife in this way? Yesterday Di saved you but today I'll kill you. he spoke all the while thrashing him. He would have actually killed him if that bast**d haven't opened his mouth.
Shyam: "Kill me if you want but think about your dear sister. She's pregnant! Do you think she'll be able to take this? You have yourself seen how she reacted yesterday, she even left you for me.
His words hurt him badly but he knew he is speaking truth, so he left her with a jerk and Shyam wiped blood from his face. Shyam somehow managed to stand on his feet and looked at Arnav with mocking smile "I pity you Saale Sahaab. I really do! Both the women in your life don't trust you but me. Both finds solace In my arms'. He almost whispered those words coming close to him.
Arnav glared at him and he smirked in return before continuing "Don't tell me that you believe that nothing happened between Khushi ji and me. You know Khushi ji is so sweet, she can do anything for her family and their happiness even if she have to sacrifice herself in return. So it was not really difficult for me to get what I want but now when truth is out I really felt bad for you.
Arnav looked at him in shock, his words playing with the remaining piece of his mind and before he knew he smacked him so hard this time that Shyam lost his conscious. He tried to control his irregular breaths as the same men who brought Shyam dragged him back inside the car and left on Arnav's order.
Arnav felt like vomiting even with the thought of Shyam's words turning true, he keeps his one palm in his mouth to stop himself from crying out loud but failed miserably. All he can hear is Shyam's words floating in air around him, slamming his both hands on his ears to stop the voices he screamed loudly before falling on his knees.
Khushi keeps looking at the dark sky, sitting on poolside. Her heart is twisting in pain, indicating that the other half of it is in pain. She looked towards the door again in hope that Arnav will walk inside any moment but he didn't. She again tried to call him but same response, he is not answering. Dejected she started walking downstairs thinking to wait for him in living room as everyone is already retired to their rooms.
She was just on the stairs when the main door opened and he walked inside, their eyes met and she almost fell looking into his bloodshot eyes. She clutched the railings for support looking into his eyes which were screaming of the pain, dejection and helplessness. She wanted to run into his arms and console her but somewhere she her ability to speak and move leaving her and before she can even compose herself to face him he was already walking pass by her side.
