"I TRUST YOU DI"

Khushi felt dizzy with the few words.

"ArnavJi doesn't believe her either? Has she lost everything within few moments? His Love, his care and HIS TRUST?"

Every moment spent together played in front of her: his confession, his promises, their marriage, him understanding her fears, her wishes and Loving her more and more with each passing day.

She knows she shouldn't have tried to hide everything from her but she was scared. Scared to lose his love, care and everything they have but it seems like today her biggest nightmare is coming true. He doesn't trust her, she lost him.

Arnav's eyes widened as he saw her sway and before she can hit the floor he caught her in his arms. "Khushi! Khushi Look at me.

Her eyebrows knitted together as she tried to keep her eyes open and her eyes met his concerned one who was looking at her frantically. His one hand holding her from the waist and other on her cheek trying to keep her awake.

Arnav: "Tum theek ho?" ("Are you fine?")

Anjali: "Chotte! What are you doing? Leave her! It's her another drama to trap you."

Arnav: "Di Please! "

Anjali: "Chotte? You just said you trust me."

Arnav: "Yes. I said I trust you but let me complete.

"I trust you Di, but I ALSO TRUST KHUSHI.

He completed looking at Khushi's teary eyes caressing her cheeks. He helped her to stand on her feet and encircled his arm around her shoulder to support her.

Anjali: "What do you mean Chotte? You either trust me or her. How can you trust her if you trust me? I am telling you what I have been experiencing from a long time now and still, you're saying you trust her?"

Arnav "Yes Di, I said I trust HER. She is my wife Di, I love her and from how much I know her, I can't believe she can ever do something so cheap that you and Jija Ji are accusing of.

Anjali: "You mean I am lying?"

Arnav: "I am just saying Khushi can't do something like that, I trust her."

Anjali: "It's the same thing!"

The family looked at them shocked, Arnav has always followed Anjali's every word and today both siblings are fighting with each other. Nani tried to intervene, she can't see her grandchildren fighting like this but Mama ji stopped her. Though he is also shocked by the turn of events, he doesn't want to judge anyone.

Arnav: "Di please try to understand the situation, we all know how Khushi is. I am sure Jija ji and you are having some misunderstanding. Let us sit and talk, we should also hear what Khushi has to say."

All the time Khushi kept looking at him, "He is actually supporting her? And what did he say he TRUST her?' she felt elated nothing matters anymore to her.

Anjali: "No Chotte, there is no misunderstanding. I have witnessed her true colours with my own eyes. Now you need to decide if you believe me or not."

Arnav gulped as he looked away before looking at Khushi who was also looking at him, hopefully.

"No Di, I am ready to believe anything you say but not this. I wouldn't do the same mistake I have done when we met. I have always wronged her, always taunted her but now we have come a long way Di and I trust my wife, she can never do something so disgusting.

Anjali looked at him with wide eyes.

" You're doing wrong Chotte, she doesn't deserve this. She was trying to trap Shyam Ji, to think once I have considered as a sister. I feel disgusted. She is just a lying bit*h."

"Yes Anjali Ji, you are right."

They all looked at Payal who was standing with Akash looking angry. Payal and Akash have just reached RM after Akash picked Payal from Gupta House when they heard what Anjali was saying. Payal walked inside and looked at Khushi who was looking so broken and Arnav who was supporting her before she turned to face Anjali.

Payal: "You're right Anjali ji. Khushi was lying."

Everyone looked at her shocked, Khushi's eyes finally moved away from Arnav when she heard her Jiji (sister) speaking, Arnav looked at her surprised. "What is she saying?"

Anjali smiled, "Thank you Payal ji, I knew I am right. Look Chotte even your dear wife's sister is saying that she was lying. I told you everything was a facade, she was just trying to trap us."

Payal: "Exactly Anjali ji, everything was a facade. Her happiness, her smiling face, everything was a facade which she was carrying to hide her pain for everyone's happiness. I told her! I told her to tell everything to everyone but you know what My sister is a fool. She stayed quiet all the time so you can stay happy in your dream world, so Arnav ji can stay happy and because this family can stay happy."

Anjali: "What do you want to say? What's this new drama?"

Payal: "I want to say what you're hearing, Khushi lied for everyone's happiness.She lied because you are too weak to accept the truth, she lied because of your pregnancy. My sister started living in fear every moment under this roof because of the cheap advances of your husband but she never told anyone because of this family's happiness."

Anjali: "Wow Payal ji, great story! How can I expect you to support me after all Khushi is your sister. You're anyway going to support her, doesn't matter if she is right or wrong. "

Payal: "I don't want to explain you anything when you have already decided what you want to believe. But yeah, I wouldn't hear anything against my sister. She hasn't sacrificed so much to hear that "She is a lying bit*h. If anyone is the culprit here then it is your husband, so don't you dare accuse my sister."

Everyone was shocked with this new avatar of Payal, who looked ready to fight with anyone if they tried to hurt her sister, just like a protective mother.

Arnav looked stunned, so many things have been happening around him and he like a fool thought that it is some misunderstanding which will be solved soon. Something clicked in his mind hearing Payal and he turned to Khushi, holding her chin he made her look at him "Tell me something Khushi and I want to hear only truth." Khushi nodded.

Arnav: "That night when I asked you about your fear and changed behaviour and you told that there's something and you'll tell me when the time comes, this was the reason?"

Khushi looked at him as she remembered how she was unable to tell him everything that night.

Flashback (Part 21)

Arnav nodded thinking deeply before he asked the next question nagging him badly. "Why do you stay so scared these days? Khushi looked at him startled.

Khushi (stammering): "I... I... scared? What are you saying Arnav ji?"

Arnav:" Oh please! I just said, I am not blind who can't see the obvious, that too when it is related to my wife."

Arnav: "Khushi don't deny, from the night of marriage I can see the fear lurking in your eyes. You have turned very silent and aloof, this wasn't the Khushi I knew and fell in love with. Initially, I thought it is because of our sudden marriage and new family things have turned awkward for you but I can't believe that even now you feel awkward and scared with the same family you used to spent almost all of the day with before our marriage."

"I am not a fool who can't see how Payal tags around you almost everywhere when I am not around or even sometimes before me like there is some danger for you. I didn't miss the way you lock up yourself in our when I get late to return from office. I didn't miss the way you sigh in relief looking at me and snuggle to me like hiding yourself from someone or something. And at the end, I don't think all this is my imagination and there is nothing."

Arnav completed looking at Khushi who was looking down and he can see the drops of tears falling in her lap. It hurts him but he wants to know what is bothering her, so he turned her to look at him but instead she hugged him, pushing herself to him as much as possible, his arms went around her naturally and rubbed her back as she cried bitterly.

Khushi: "I am sorry! I am so sorry Arnav ji. You're right I am hiding something, you're right I do feel scared."

Arnav: "What is it Khushi? Please tell me!"

Khushi: "I'll tell you everything, everything but not now. Please, Arnav ji don't ask anything for now. "

Arnav: "But Khushi I... "Khushi interrupted in between."

Khushi: "Please trust me Arnav ji, whatever I am doing is for everyone's happiness. Few things are better hidden if they can spoil happiness of others. All I want is some time. I'll then myself come and tell you everything but till then please just trust me. Whatever I am hiding is for everyone's happiness. I have tried earlier to tell you everything on the night when you gifted me my muh dikhayi's gift but at that time you stopped me and now I don't have it me, When the right time comes I'll tell you everything. But please trust me, please, I need you, I need you to believe me, I need your support to go on and fight with my fear, please believe me, please trust me Arnav Ji, please..."

Flashback ends

As soon as Khushi nodded his eyes turned red in rage and before anyone can understand, Arnav was standing in front of Shyam who looked visibly scared and punched right on his face making everyone gasp and Anjali screamed.

"Chotte..."
