She is safe nothing happened don't even think about what could have happened because that's only going make you mad. You will yell and she is drunk so she'll cry, oh no she'll cry, definitely no yelling. She is safe and that's all that matters.
With his eyes closed and hands fisted Arnav turned his face to the side to let out an angry sigh wishing for all the negative thoughts to leave his mind.
Not a second later after turning he felt the softest kiss drop on his cheek. He had done plenty of sexual things with other women before after all he was a hormone driven unattached young guy with a high sex drive but never in a million years had he imagined that a single kiss on the cheek would leave such a lasting sensation and a warmth in him.
While his eyes opened up in delight, Khushi's eyes snapped open when she realized that her lips had not made contact with his soft ones but instead his rough subtle. One look at Arnav's face made it clear that he was completely clueless as to Khushi's intention and her feeble attempt at stealing a kiss.
Think woman, think! He is looking at you so you better say something. SPEAK!
"Thank you. Khuhsi managed to blurt out, her voice barely audible.

"For driving all the way here to make sure I was okay and looking out for me and my friends. I meant it Arnav, thank you.
"God woman since when did you started thanking me for doing my job. Hell must have frozen over. He finished off making both of them laugh.
He himself did not know where he found the courage to do what followed especially considering she was the one with tequila in her Arnav leaned down to plant a warm kiss on her forehead.
Finding it hard to move away from her he lowered his head even more to kiss her cheek... just a little too close to her lips.
Standing up straight he looked her right in the eyes searching for any signs of hesitation or even worse disgust but he was ecstatic to be welcomed by nothing more than a beautiful blush.
"You know I'll always be there Khushi you never have to thank me.
He shrugged his jacket off and wrapped it around her shoulders, rubbing them slightly before reluctantly stepping back to put some distance, "shall we? He smiled.

If anyone were to look inside Arnav's car they may be a little concerned seeing two people sitting side by side with giant smiles plastered on their faces.

"What's wrong Khushi? Why do you look so worried?
Oh man that concerned voice of his always has me dead. "Arnav I am so sorry, but.. well.. us girls were planning on staying at payal's tonight so I left my stuff at her house and well...
"Oh just say it!
"My keys are in that stuff at Payal's apartment and Payal is still at the club. I am sorry but you'll have to drop me back to the girls.
"That won't be a problem. Arnav spoke nonchalantly.
"What do you meant that won't be a problem? Did you not hear what I said?

"And?
"And what Arnav turn the car around we have to go back to the club.
"Like I said no need. We are going to my house you can sleep there and I will drop you off early morning at Payal's. There was no way in hell he was dumb enough to pass down such an amazing opportunity to spend some alone time with Khushi.

"Yes.
