Chapter 1
Sitting there staring out the window at the pouring rain she could not help but relive all their memories together. Every time they went to the club for one of their friend's parties where she would get just a little too tipsy, he would come up and stand right in front of her shake is head in disproval making his chiseled jaw all the more irresistible, laugh and then call her silly. Each time would fail she would feel a strong warm feeling at the pit of her stomach and all she wanted to do was nuzzle up her face in his warm perfect neck.
She knew just how well he remembered all the little details about her, nothing that she ever said or did around him went unnoticed it was as if his life solely dependent on observing her and he was might good at it. He would completely throw her off for a loop every time he interrupted her just to remind her of something she had said she would need to do or get.
He was closed off that's for sure like most guys he had never been so comfortable about expressing his true emotions and buried down his trouble deep within for the sake of his "manly" pride. Despite that no matter how hard he tried to push her off she would always find her way back to him. She taught him how to confide in her, how to trust a friend without the dreaded fear of being abounded or being betrayal and so he trusted her and she never let him down.
She couldn't help but smile thinking how every time she was upset or being hormonal or frustrated or stressed, basically any other emotion except from being happy, he was there without default with a box full of her favorite chocolates.
She had fallen for that boyish grin, that amazing smell of his cologne and not to mention his perfect Harvey Specter looks.
Now that they were graduating from university soon she had been hoping that hopefully soon the day would come when he would just stride right up to her and confess his unwavering lasting feelings for her because if there is one thing all these clichd romantic movies have taught a girl to believe is that no matter what, in the end, the guy always ends up making a huge romantic gesture and expresses his love to the girl next door.
"f**k these stereotypical ass movies." She sniffed.
If the girl was always suppose to get her dream guy, then why the hell had she found Arnav making out with that good for nothing Sheetal in the university parking lot.
She had been dropping hints as to how she felt for days now, until now she just assumed that Arnav had been oblivious to them, could it be that he had simply been ignoring them?
Or could it be that he never felt the same way, after all a guy like him couldn't fall for a girl like her.
If you guys want me to continue let me know 😊There is no point of keep writing if people just read it and ignore it ðŸ˜
Chapter 2
She couldn't really blame now or could she? Grabbing her coffee mug and her giant Aritzia blanket scarf she plopped down on her bed and instantly turned on Netflix as a habit and obviously Friends was playing.
She tried to focus -focus hard on Ross, Rachel, Phoebe and even Joey but all she could dwell on was Chandler and Monica's relationship. Fictional Characters maybe but how were they able to turn their friendship into something more while she couldn't even say for certain whether or not Arnav was even attracted. "Stupid Sheetal," she groaned randomly trying to cheer herself up. She should have known to choose a different show rather than the one she has already seen a billion times to distract herself from this situation.
Flipping through the homepage trying to find a suitable alternative she again found her thoughts drifting towards him. Why didn't he like her? She very well understood that everyone had the right to decide whom they liked but why couldn't it have been. Yeah, maybe she wasn't the most attractive girl out there she knew that but she carried herself lightly with grace. She might be skinny as hell and barely have any curves but she was still a woman.
She knew him better than he knew himself, clich maybe but this is in fact always the case with best friends, is it not? The other person seems to realize how you feel before you can ever figure out for your own-self. She loved him, she cared for him, she understood him, she was nice and most importantly he trusted her. So why can't he be in love with her rather than just love her?
"Riverdale" she explained! This should do it she thought. She had yet to watch the latest episode and this was relatively new show, she couldn't possibly get distracted watching this.Or so she thought up. Then there was Betty confessing her feelings to her long-time best friend, Archie, only to get shot-down by him for being too perfect'. Could Arnav possibly think that? That maybe she was too perfect for him, in his mind and that's why he never really made a moved.
"Ugh," she groaned, "who am I kidding, if anything the reason Arnav doesn't feel the same way about me is because he thinks that he can get someone better than me minus the anxiety and annoyingly hyper-active personality."
"Isn't there a single tv show that a girl can watch without dwelling on the idea of romantic relationship between two people. Girls are capable of enjoying things without a sappy love track being wedged into the story." Hopelessly giving up on finding a decent show to watch she leaned over to the side grabbing her phone from the nightstand she sent a quick text and waited for a reply.
Minutes later her phone beeped. Walking over to her closet she grabbed her bag plus her car keys and stormed out of the house ignoring the blinking red dot on her answering machine.
Give it some love and let me know what you guys think 😳
Chapter 3
Driving in the pouring rain while Ed Sheeran played in the background wasn't going to do much to improve her mood but that wouldn't be an issue for too long. Her girls were out right now drinking it up, dancing and just having fun. Initially, she didn't feel like joining them cause in her mind right about now Arnav and her would have confessed their feelings for each other and would probably be spending the night together. But since that clearly did not go her way she messaged her friends asking if they were still at the bar and one yes was all it took for her to march out of the door.
All of sudden a loud ringing surrounded her car interrupting the song abruptly.
"Hey guys I am on my way. Don't worry I didn't change my mind for the third time but I just left my house so I is going to take a bit to drive down there. Until I get there but you guys keep doing you till I am there." She finished off into the blue-tooth of her car laughing.
"Where are you headed Khushi?" came the reply in a deep husky voice she instantly recognized.
"Oh Arnav," she spoke softly "I thought it was Haley guys who called I am meeting them over right now at Mclarens." She finished off with a nervous laugh as she tried to ignore the flashing images of Arnav and Sheetal making out in the back seat of his car.
"Figured as much but I was referring to the fact that I thought we had plans today to meet up study for a test and grab dinner or are you just flaking on me girl." He teased.
Oh so he could take his tongue out of Sheetal's mouth long enough to realize that she was missing. How lucky am I? Khushi thought as she rolled her eyes.
"I am so sorry Arnav I completely forgot about that and to be really honest I am not exactly in the mood to study right now. I just need to let off some steam then I'll be fine." She knew damn well she was lying through her teeth but she couldn't exactly say that she showed up an hour early just to be with him but he was a little too busy with someone else.
"Fine, you are off the hook this one time. Just know that next time you plan on cancelling on me at least do it a few hours in advance. I am a very popular guy you see, girls can't get enough of me so I have to budget my time fairly." He laughed at his own joke but little did he know Khushi took his words straight to her heart. She blinked rapidly to stop the tears that had formed in her eyes from falling into her lap.
"Oh and Khushi," spoke Arnav his voicing turned strangely serious all of sudden, "since you are clearly planning on drinking you better not drink and drive. Get a ride from someone will you? Better yet call me if you need me, you know I won't mind." The sincerity in his voice didn't help the tears in her eyes.
Why did have to be so nice to her? Couldn't he just be a big jerk so at least of all she would not have a legitimate reason to like him? But no he just had to look after her and care for her.
"Don't worry Arnav," she tried her best to cover the lump in her throat, "I will call you if I need you."
"Now that's like my girl. Stay safe will ya"bye!"
The small beep later, there it was again the song she had been listening to. His warm comforting voice was gone and despite the loud music her car suddenly felt so quite and lonely.
She couldn't wait to start having fun with her girls cause only god knows how badly she craved someone's company. With that she speed up to go see her girls to spend the night, which would soon turn into one of the most amazing nights in her life.

Chapter 4
Another empty tequila glass slammed down right on the another.
"Another, wailed Khushi loudly in the waiter's direction just as she felt a cluster form around her.
"There you are Khushi, spoke Payal struggling to catch her breath "we have been looking for you everywhere for the past 30 minutes you should know better to wonder off alone in a club in this state.
"Oh Payali, relax! replied Khushi dragging her words with a small stutter.
"We all came here together so I obviously would not have gone anywhere without my girls. I came to party and partying I was. Khushi finished off dropping her voice to a whisper as she staggered just a bit losing her balance as her ankle twisted on her heel. She felt herself slowly slipping away to the side. Fully expecting to land in Haley's arms, who had moved closer to help her from possibly hitting the side of the bar, Khushi was definitely shocked as she felt herself being pushed back into a strong hold.
Before she could even turn around to face the man who had the audacity to grab her, a husky and all too familiar voice filled her ear.
"I see that you have found her.
Her eyes landed on his face which was looked far from happy. The last thing she knew with one nod to her friends he had her whole body turned around and before she realized she was walking out of the club with her body still glued to his. His long angry strides only came to a halt once he was sure that he had successfully dragged her away from the crowd and there they stood, Khushi leaned on with her back to his car and Arnav towering down on her with his hands on her waist.
"We need to talk.
