Well, I don't really have a clue of where to begin at the first place. May be I will start with a big thank you for the amazing response you people gave for Pyaar Hi Dha. You were all so supportive and I can't thank you all enough for that.
Of late I started receiving a lot of pms asking me to make an index of the FF as it is spread over different threads and hundred chapters. So I'm just putting it up here, well after editing it to remove the typos and errors I have made in the original. For all those who would like to reread, you're all welcome

PLOT

Roli Dwivedi falls in love with her boss Siddhant Bharadwaj and soon get married to him. Her life is as blissful as a fairytale but one fine day, her world turns upside down as an unexpected truth unveils. Pain and hurdles follows, but at the end their love wins.

CHAPTER 1


An early morning. The sunrays were hitting the room even out of the curtains illuminating it slightly. A girl was asleep on her bed with the warm covers tucked up to her shoulders. Her eyes were tightly closed to resist the sweltering sunlight. Her lips had a little smile and face was serene. Soon the door opened and a handsome guy in late twenties entered with a cup of coffee. He reached the girl and smiled seeing her cutely asleep. He sat next to her and keeping the coffee mug on the side table, softly shook her by her shoulders. "Roli...Baby...get up..." said him. Roli's eyelashes fluttered like the wings of a butterfly as she stirred up. She opened her eyes slowly and looked at the guy sitting next to her. "Good morning Bhaiyya..." she said in a lazy tone. "Good morning princess..." replied Rithik. Rithik was Roli's elder brother who was her only family. They had lost their parents back when Roli was 15and since then he was the one who had always cared for her, always stayed by her. She was his very life and she too loved him to the infinity. "Baby...you've slept too long today...you got to go for work right?" asked Rithik. Roli was working in the foreign relations department of a famous corporate company based on London. "What's the time Bhaiyya?" asked Roli lazily, still wanting to sleep more. "It's eight child..." said Rithik. "Oh no...I have slept this long..." said Roli as she got up and rushed to the bathroom taking her towel. Rithik smiled and arranged her bed neatly folding the blanket and keeping the pillows in position. Then he rushed to the kitchen for preparing the breakfast. He never let Roli work in kitchen on working days, he didn't want her to stress. Soon he was back in her bedroom with a plate of hot roti and curry. Roli came back from the bathroom now, rubbing her long hair. Rithik smiled at her and got the towel from her. He rubbed her hairs as she sat on the stool before her dressing table. After having finished with her hair, he took the plate and started feeding her. Roli continued doing her light make up whilst he fed her lovingly. "Enough Bhaiyya...' she said as he tried to feed her little more. "Baby...have some more...you will have a really long day..." said him. Roli obeyed him and finished with the plate. "Bhaiyya...you don't have duty today?' asked Roli. "No baby...weekly off...need to rest for a while.." said Rithik. "Achha...rest or Bhabhi...which is gonna happen?" teased Roli. "Roli...keep it low...i will give you chance to counter my words..." said Rithik smiling. "Okay then Bhaiyya...let me change...that ill tempered guy is gonna eat me up if I get late..." complained Roli. "Oh ho...that guy and you...leave it...you're not ready to quit the job too...so no use of telling you... so now start..." said Rithik stepping out. Roli smiled at Rithik and started changing.




About half an hour later, Rithik dropped Roli at the parking area of her office. Before leaving Roli didn't forget her regulars; yes, a kiss on her brother's cheeks and a hug. Rithik smiled and hugged her back waving bye to her. Roli stepped in to the office as she saw Rithik turning the car to go out. She smiled and entered the lift to reach her workplace. Soon she entered the 5th floor where her workstation was. She reached the foreign relations department where her friend Akhil was already in to work. A guy in mid twenties with a serious look and knitted brow contrary to his friendly nature. "hey Akhi...it's just 9:15...you got in early?" asked Roli. "Yeah girl...things are turning upside down..the new guy is here..." said him. New guy??? Who's new???' asked a baffled Roli. "Areyy...you didn't know...well...there is a cat in the hell chance that you'd know...means everything was so fast..."said Akhi. "Akhi can you tell me what the real matter is without playing around?" asked Roli irritated. "darling...it's nothing...it's that forty year old boring boss of ours is replaced by a steaming hot and handsome guy.." said Asmitha, another colleague of hers. She sat on one of the chairs with her legs crossed. Roli looked amazed; she had not foreseen this, not even in her rarest dreams. "What???seriously? Are you guys fooling on me? Come on...it's not April fool...don't joke..." said her. "Oh ho darling...it's true...we don't know why but Ashok had got in to an argument with the chief it seems, so he's fired...even the compensation is settled...And the chief had directed one of his most efficient acquaintances to the post..And see...The guy is right here..." said Abhi, another colleague of hers. "Oh ho...my head is spinning... what's happening god!!!" said Roli as she settled on one of the chairs. "Baby...your head will automatically spin if you see him...OMG...His height, look, torso, face, eyes, nose and everything...they are just running me nutty...i got a boat service in my mouth already..." said Asmitha. "oh no...Asmi...keep it low...he's our boss..." said Nishfa, a more reserved one. "So all you guys are serious..."said Roli. "Or else do you think we were joking?' asked the team all in a voice. "Yeyyy..." Roli bounced like a little kid. "OMG...I'm so happy..." she cried in the air when the main cabin's door opened knocking Roli's wits out of her.

CHAPTER 2




Roli stood as if she's rooted to the floor as a tall, handsome guy stood halfway by the door of the cabin. He looked like a lighthouse almost. His face fresh and sparkling. His eyes piercing and deep. He was dressed in cleanly ironed crisp formals but those first three buttons left unhooked made his look hot. He smiled at Roli in a teasing way. Roli almost looked like spaced out. He had seen her bouncing stupidly at the very first day of his entry. She must have looked like a daft lass to him. As for Asmitha, the boat service of which she had already begun was almost stopped due to flooding of saliva. The Nishfa looked him with respect whilst the look from the boys undoubtedly had envy in it. "Meeting guys...come in to the conference hall..." he said in a most alluring voice. Roli and the other members walked in to conference hall as if hypnotized and took their seats. "So guys...I know you're all bit confused right now...So much that you can't even stand on the floor..." he looked Roli with the corner of his eyes which made her embarrassed. "So...where were we? Yeah...Confused...means...This was very swift, even to me because I got the call from your chief to be a part of this company at the late night...But nevertheless, I'm very happy about it...before going to all that, let me introduce myself...I'm Siddhant Bharadwaj, the head of foreign relations department from now on...you guys can call me Siddhant...Now..." he took a file from the table and looked intently in to it. Roli wasn't in a position to look up; his charm has definitely affected her badly. " So you five...Akhil Vasudev, Abhi Mehra, Asmitha Banerjee, Nishfa Khan and Roli Dwivedi...you guys are the team of foreign relations...Amongst this...Who's Roli Dwivedi?" asked him raising his eyebrows. Something blocked Roli's throat at the very moment, she wasn't able to push words out of her mouth. With great difficulty she rose from her chair. "Oh...so you're Miss Dwivedi...So Miss. Dwivedi you've assisted your previous boss and you'd do the same with me...okay..." asked him. "Ye...yess sir..." she said. "Ehh..." Sid said raising his eyebrows. "Sorry...yes. Siddhant..." said Roli looking down. "That's the right one...So guys...We would discuss more whenever necessary...till that, you can get back to your works...Miss. Dwivedi...you please come with me...Others...You can go..." said Sid. The team except for Roli left the conference hall. Asmitha turned back several times to see what's with Sid and Roli now. "Come..." said Sid as he walked in to his cabin. Roli watched him and followed him silently. Sid opened the door for Roli and closed it as she entered. He settled on his chair and gestured her to sit. "So Miss Dwivedi...how are you feeling?" asked Sid as he turned a pen between his fingers. Roli was obviously surprised by his question. "I'm good..."said her in a low voice. "oh come on girl...leave your breathe...why're you so tensed..seems that your previous boss had affected you pretty badly..." said Sid. Roli smiled lightly yet uncomfortably. "But Miss Dwivedi...I'm neithera monster nor a rapist...and I don't eat human flesh...So you can be free with me..." he said. A smile appeared on Roli's face as he heard him. "This would work here Miss Dwivedi..." said Sid chuckling good naturedly. Roli smiled even more and looked doubtedly at Sid. "Something to say?' asked Sid. "Yeah...it would be better if you call me Roli..I'm lil' uncomfortable with this Miss Dwivedi..."she said hesitantly. "oh just that..Okay then Miss..Sorry...Roli..." said Sid. "So...what I came to tell you is that we got to deal with some files today itself...I've spotted some really erroneous files...i wonder I think old guy never saw through it...so we should correct it at the fastest..."said Sid. Roli listened intently. The embarrassment and shy was no longer seen. "So can you help me with it?' asked him. "Of course..."said Roli. "Good then...just sit..we'll see some selected files..."said Sid. Roli nodded and they started working together.


Outside the cabin, Asmitha fidgeted her fingers tensely as she threw frequent glances at Sid's cabin. "What happened to you?" asked Nishfa as she continued working. "Nothing...I'm just wondering if Roli has an eye on our new boss..." she said. But not only that she didn't get the required attention of the gang, all started laughing at her. "Roli??? Are you serious? She eyeing a guy???in fact everyone in the office had eyed her...But she didn't fell(experience says it all right?)...I think even this new man has got an eye on her...Its him..Not her..."said Abhi. "Oh...i don't think so..." said Asmitha as she thought intently on it. Nishfa and the guys just shoved the matter off as they know that Asmitha is bit nosey.


Inside the cabin, Sid and Roli were working so close to each other. "Roli...what is this name????Pradyumnavard...Ha Ha...Pradyumnavardan Raj Singh...so simple name right?" said Sid laughing. Roli joined him in his laugh too. "Actually you know what Siddhant...Ashok sir was such an earthquake that I never used to get something to laugh when I was inside this cabin. This was one of the most haunted places for me..." said Roli. "That's funny..."said Sid. "Okay Roli...got some work...maybe it will take me till afternoon to finish off ...So you sit here and deal the files...Any problem...Here is my number, ring me up...okay..Bye..." said him as he stepped out of the cabin smiling at her. "Bye..."she too replied before he stirred out. She was in fact feeling so relieved. Unlike Ashok who used to eat her brains at every instant, this guy is really a big relief...he's dealing everything so coolly, thought her. That was when Asmitha entered the cabin. "Roli...what're you doing?" asked her. "Obviously working..." said Roli as she continued with the files. "Oh...so how's the man?" asked her. "Which man?" asked Roli concentrating on the file. "Siddhant..." said Asmitha as a matter of a fact. "Oh him???He's such a nice chap...Too good...too romantic as well...he's so steamy...he talks so nicely..."said Roli realizing the real motive of Asmitha's question. Asmitha rolled her eyes in awe. Roli laughed aloud now. "Oh come on Asmi...he's definitely a nice guy...nothing else...but big relief for me as I got rid of that idiot Ashok...that's all..." said Roli. "Oh..." said Asmitha as she smiled uncomfortably and stepped out of the cabin whilst Roli continued her work with a smile.

CHAPTER 3



Around 4 in the evening. Roli was still dealing with the files when Sid entered the cabin looking visibly upset. Roli stood up seeing him and could sense that something was definitely wrong. "Hi..." Sid said yet. "Hi..." Roli wished him back. Sid sat on his chair and wiped off the sweat that was formed on his forehead with a hanky. Roli was hesitant to ask him, so she just looked down at the file though her mind was not in to it. "Roli..." Sid begun. "Yes..." Roli answered. "Like...we got a little problem...Actually that file no. 894...relating to the contract with Anston international, London, I have seen that Ashok hadn't done it properly...Every single thing is completely wrong...So we'll have to redo it from scratch...But the problem is...the delegates from the company are coming tomorrow noon...So we'll have to finish it fast..." said Sid bit tensely. "But Siddhant.it needs three days at the minimum..."replied Roli worriedly. "Ya I know...never expected I would bump with such issue right on the first day, but leave it...I can manage...tell me can you stay back here till it's over..i mean, I know it's wrong to ask...yet...if you're okay with it, can you? I need help with it..." said Sid hesitantly. Roli thought for a while. "Siddhant...can you give me 2 minutes?" asked her. "Yeah of course..."said him. Roli moved to the farthest end of the cabin and took her phone. She dialed up Rithik. "Hey..Why at this time dear? Any problem?" asked Rithik as he attended her call. "Bhaiyya...Actually we have some really important file to be ready for tomorrow, so I think I need to stay back till it's over..."She said. "till it's over? Roli..Are you serious...work till it's over...that too with that mad guy Ashok...No way..." said Rithik. "Bhaiyya listen...Ashok sir is no longer my boss, actually he got fired yesterday. Will tell you everything in detail...The new guy is really friendly and he asked me so politely...so I think I have to do it..." said her in pleasing tone "this absolutely miracle...Ashok fired and the new guy entered...all in few hours...may be the chap is good, but baby...till the work's over, I mean we don't know how he's." said Rithik concerned. "Bhaiyya...as far as I know, he's really nice...and even if some problem happen, or I feel like it I will ring you up..Okay...Please agree..." pleaded her. "Okay...Take care...Don't let my heart burn...call me every hour...' said Rithik. "of course Bhaiyya...thank you...i love you...muaaahh..."she said smiling. "Okay princess, bye...Take care..." said Rithik as he hung up the call.



Roli turned with a smile to Sid who was looking at her reaction, but looked away as he felt she may misunderstand him. "Yes Siddhant... I can stay back...no worries..." said Roli smiling. "Oh that's really great...Thank you..."said Sid sighing in relief. "It's okay...No mention..." said Roli. "Okay then...Let's begin..."said Sid. They smiled at each other and started with the gargantuan size work that was lying flat before them.



At 5:30, Asmitha, slightly opened the door of Sid's cabin and peeped in. Siddhant noticed her and with a mesmerizing smile asked "Excuse me...you need something?" Roli too saw and Asmitha and guessing what must be going on in her head, tried to suppress her laughter. Asmitha felt wobbly as Sid's question hit her. "Woh...woh Siddhant...i just came to ask if Roli isn't joining us...i mean its 5:30..." she said trying to be hesitant. "Oh...it's that???Sorry miss Banerjee...Myself and Roli got to deal with an important project and so we are not leaving anytime soon...So you guys can leave..." he said offhandedly. Asmitha's eyes looked like gooseberries and she stared at Roli. Roli nodded and with an uncomfortable smile, Asmitha closed the door. "The girl is bit curious?" asked Sid. "Yeah...a bit..."said Roli smiling and getting back to her work. Outside, Asmitha was really confused. Abhi...she's staying back for working..." said Asmitha. "Who??" asked Abhi as he was busy tapping on his phone. "Areyy Roli...and know what? Siddhant is with her..." said Asmitha. "So what????that's completely okay..." said Akhil. "Akhi...have you lost your brains...everyone in the office would leave by 6...So what if they stay back alone after that..." she asked tensely. "What if they stay? Nothing will happen...Roli isn't like you and Siddhant seems descent..."said Nishfa. "It as good if things would remain the same..." sighed Asmitha. Others shoved off her talks and all of them started back home.

CHAPTER 4


Time was flying. It took no time for the whole office to submerge in total solitude. Roli and Sid were still working like hell. Rithik had asked Roli to call every hour, but he himself was calling every half an hour to make sure that his sister is safe and sound. Roli was little embarrassed by Rithik's gesture, though it made her feel so special and warm. Sid was smiling as Roli's phone beeped each time and as Roli mumbled "I'm fine..don't worry..." and hung the call. Around 7, they still had a really long way to go with the project. Roli had just received another call from Rithik. She said her usual dialogue and hung the call. "Mom???" asked Sid. "No bro..." said Roli as she smiled. "Maybe he feels that I will eat you up..." said Sid chucking. "Not that... I'm his only sister and he loves me so much...so just concerned..." said Roli as an explanation. Sid feeling that he has annoyed Roli said "Sorry sorry...i didn't mean that...i was just kidding..." "It's okay..." said Roli as she smiled. Sid wiped his face with the hanky again. "It's damn hot in Mumbai...i can't survive with this blazer anymore..." saying this he just removed his blazer and kept it on his chair. Roli was little embarrassed as he was looking a bit too hot to handle. His rugged torso made her pretty sure that he was of the kind who works out regularly. Sid wasn't drooling at Roli, but he lazily passed his eye through her features and a smile spread on his lips. There was silence for a while. "Let me a get a cup of coffee Roli...it's high time to have something..." said Sid as he moved to the coffeemaker in the cabin. Roli watched with a smile as he returned with two cups of steaming hot coffee. "Here..." he passed a cup to Roli. Roli brought it with a smile and just fidgeted on the table. "The coffee is to drink...not to see..." he teased her. "it's not to see; I agree.." by then Sid had already sipped a bit from the coffee and backed as it was too hot. "this will happen if you don't sit and wait..."said Roli with a playful smile. "Okay...getting back to work..." said Sid closing his eyes in embarrassment. Roli bit her lips and tried to hide her smile seeing his flushed face. Soon they were again engrossed in to work. "So tell me about your family..." begun Sid. "My Bhaiyya..." said Roli. "Bhaiyya..." Sid asked as if to continue. "Bhaiyya...that's all...He's my only family..." said Roli with a smile. "Oh...I'm sorry..." said Sid as if apologizing "So..What's your bro doing?' Asked Sid amongst his job. "Advocate...Rithik Dwivedi...he's well known here..." said Roli. "Oh that's good..." they ended up the conversation for a while and continued with the work.


Much later, around 9. "Roli...i don't know when it will finish...it's already nine..." said Sid. "Ya...I'm too thinking that...but be positive...i think we can complete it soon..." said Roli inspiring him. "Hmmm..Let me order for dinner for both of us...what do you eat? I mean, veg or non veg?" enquired Sid. "veg...Pure veg..."said Roli. "Oh...Okay then I'm too veg for the time being..." Sid said letting a chuckle out of his lips. He called and ordered for lunch. Roli was trying for network in her phone but strangely it was nil. "What the...no network here!!!" said Roli cantankerously. "That happens...Here...try with my phone..."Said Sid giving her his phone. "no...It's..." began Roli. "It's not okay...here take and call your bro..." he must be worried..."said Sid. Roli with a smile took his phone. The wallpaper was a quite cute baby. "Your baby?"enquired Roli admiring the kid. Sid seemed surprised at the question. He rested his chin over his arms and nodded no. "Not yet found a mommy for the kid..." said him making Roli look elsewhere. "Means...you can see that I'm not married...if I was married I would have been exactly similar to Ashok..." said Sid playfully. Roli was amazed at this. "Why???' she asked. "Areyy see...Girls like you, I mean, jumping to conclusions after seeing a matter..If someone like that comes in, it would be a real trouble to maintain her...So my mood will also be cranky enough...'s aid Sid. Roli rolled her eyes in anger whilst Sid laughed and let the matter go. "I was joking...you're not that bad..." said Sid. "Not so funny..." complained Roli. They heard a knock on the door and found their order arrived. Sid asked the guy to leave paying him. Roli tried her best to pay for the food, but Sid is Sid, his decision is final. "Now leave the work Roli...my stomach is crying..."said Sid. They walked to the small table in the corner of the cabin with the food and started their dinner. They could get a clear view of Mumbai city at night. "Wow...it's so beautiful.. ." said Roli. "ya..it is..." supported Sid as he helped himself with the food. They finished the food with similar jolly talks.


Soon they were back to the work, but a new problem encountered them, the power went off. "What the..." said Sid tempered. "Oh no!!! Now how we'll work?" asked Roli. "They don't have an inverter here?" asked Sid. "Yeah...but it's in the other side of the lobby, next floor..." said Roli. "Oh shit...well..Let's go and see..."said Sid. "Okay...we'll..."said Roli. They reached the stairs as lifts won't be working. "Roli...be careful...the torchlight is dim...don't trip..." warmed Sid. Roli nodded. They walked down the stairs. But Roli felt something against her leg and lost her balance falling directly in to Sid's arms clutching his shirt tightly.

CHAPTER 5




"After dark she walked by the canal, along a sheltered path lighted only in the glare of the lamps from the wharf across the water and the unceasing drone of the city was muffled and distant...it was a perfect place, she had always thought so, for a meeting of this kind." ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Roli strangely remembered these lines of A.R Barton that she had once quoted in a speech on love. The condition was like that... She was in his arms, she didn't know if she was fantasizing like the heroine of Barton's story did. She remembered about the heroin who fantasized about her date with an Irish football player. But he isn't an Irish genius about whom the heroin fantasized. Instead he was a common man, a man whom she just met today. But this was so special, even in the dim light she could see his deep and piercing eyes. His hold on her waist was protective, saving from falling down. Her hands clutched his shirt tightly touching his exposed chest. Their eyes locked as if there was no tomorrow. He studied every feature of her face. It seemed that he was enjoying each of those features just by his eyes. Maybe he's equally lost on her as she's lost on him. His hold on her waist was sending cold signals to her spine, her heart beat profusely. She could feel that his heart was also pounding hard. The contact was so magical that she felt that she was in fact fantasizing. He looked in to her eyes, not a usual mere look, but a look that had a lot of emotions in it. A look that could dissolve all the sanity in Miss. Roli Dwivedi in to it. How could she not feel that she's fantasizing?


Roli and Sid was so lost in each other and the posture went on for quite long. But ending their award movie, power came hitting their faces. They were brought back to the reality. Sid looked at Roli whilst Roli realized that it was not a dream. She felt a chill knowing that. But knowing her condition she gestured him to wake up from his trance. He didn't understand what she was saying initially but her further actions made him come back to the real world. He swiftly made her stand straight. Both looked everywhere except each other, Sid corrected his shirt that was disturbed due to Roli's tight hold. "I'm sorry...i don't...'began Roli. "It's okay..Happens...can we get back to our work?' he asked her. She nodded yes and they climbed back to their workplace.


For the next few minutes, it was pin drop silence in the workplace. Roli was yet to come out of the excitement of the happenings. But soon her phone beeped waking her from her apparent trance. She remembered that she hadn't called Rithik for a good while though she took Sid's phone to do so. She quickly lifted the call and informed him that she was fine and it was network problem. "Any problem Roli?' asked Rithik as he felt a change in his sister's tone. But no, Roli excused him that it was just due to the work and she'd need to continue it. She hung up the call only to see Sid looking at her. "Typical siblings..." he said with a smile. "he loves me a lot...'she said. "I can see it..."said Sid.




After a while. Sid had gone to the library for seeing some files, it took him pretty long to see through them. By the time he returned he saw Roli sleeping leaning on the table. He got a smile seeing her and he glanced his watch 11:30. Quite obvious that she slept. He looked at the file, it was almost complete, just entering the data to the system was left now. So he sat and did that gazing Roli whose hairs were felling on her face. Sid moved his hand to her adjusting the ringlets behind her ears. "She's beautiful...' he thought with a smile. But soon he sat back and completed the work.


"Roli..." Sid called as her cleared the table and took his bag and blazer. She was still sleeping. "Roli..." he called her again slightly tapping on her shoulders. Roli was shocked by the sudden touch that she woke up all of a sudden. Too panicky, she looked around and saw Sid standing in front of her with a smile. It took a few seconds for her to perceive the happenings and she regretted that she had slept. "I'm sorry Siddhant..i..." she tried to explain. "It's okay Roli...it's just 15 minutes...you had worked a lot...it's obvious...I do understand...in fact I should thank you...this would work would never have become complete in your absence...thank you..." he said with a smile. Roli felt so happy, so contented. "Thank you..." she said with a smile. "Okay..it's over now...let's leave...it's 11:45..." said him. Roli smiled and took her phone. "What are you gonna do?" asked Sid. "Call my bro...He'll come to fetch me..." said her. "I understand that your bro is concerned of you...so you should be concerned of him as well...besides, it would take more time if you call your bro, he comes and pick you...instead let's do it, I'll drop you...trust me, I'm not that bad..." said Sid. "Okay..." said Roli with a smile. She fetched her bag and stuff. "Are you done?" he asked. "Yeah..." she replied. "Okay then...Let's go..." they switched off the lights and entered the lift to reach down.


Roli sat comfortably in Sid's car as he occupied the driving seat. "Long day..." said him. "Really long day.." she said with a smile. "But it was nice...working all day...thanks girl...you gave me nice company...'said Sid. "Same here...Thanks for coming and saving me from Ashok the monster" said Roli. Sid chuckled and Roli joined him. The journey was pleasant. Seeing all the beauty of Midnight Mumbai. "Siddhant..okay..it's here..."said Roli as Sid reached near her home. "Okay fine...bye...see you tomorrow..." said Sid. "Ya bye..see you too..."said Roli as she took her bag and stepped out. "Thanks..." she said as she gave him a sweet smile and closed the door. She walked in to the gate, making Sid to stare at her for a moment or two and then start again.

CHAPTER 6



It was nearly 12:10 when Roli finally rang the doorbell of their house. The door opened so suddenly as if it was waiting for the bell. Rithik stood at the doorstep trying to make a serious expression. Roli know that he would pull one of his regular tactics. So she gave him the sweetest smile ever and said "I'm tired Bhaiyya..." Rithik melted at this and led her in. Closing the door he reached her with a well expected question. "What was the need to work this long dear?" asked Rithik as he noticed her sleepy eyes and disturbed hair. "Bhaiyya...it was an important file...the meeting is tomorrow..Sorry...today noon...So..." she excused. "You had anything? " asked Rithik to end her list of excuses. "Yeah...we had our dinner at 9..." said Roli. "Oh,...then go sleep...you got to go to office tomorrow morning..." said Rithik as he tried to walk away. But Roli held his hands preventing him from moving any further. "I will sleep...but after having something with my Bhaiyya...i know you haven't eaten anything without me..." said her. Rithik looked her lovingly. How his sister understood him so well? "Okay...but go...get fresh and come, by then I'll keep the food ready..." said Rithik. Roli gave him an approving smile and rushed to her room for freshening up.



Much later around 12:30. Roli and Rithik were helping themselves with some food. Roli wasn't actually hungry, but she gave company for her bro. "So what's with Ashok?" enquired Rithik. "Seems that he had had an argument with chief or something...So he's fired..." said Roli. "Hmmm...He deserved it..Shouting at everyone was his job right?' asked Rithik. "Hmmm..But I must say, the new guy; his name Siddhant...he's so nice..." Rithik didn't fail to notice a blushing smile on Roli's face when she said Sid's name. "So you fell for him?" asked Rithik with a naughty smile. Roli rolled her eyes at her bro's silly comment. "You..." she begun angrily and stuffed a big piece of sandwich to his mouth. "Yeah...I've fallen for him...love at first sight..."said Roli tempered. "I'm going..."she said rising from the chair. "Oh oh...Sit...i was joking..." said Rithik as he tried to manage the huge piece of sandwich that his sister had put in to his mouth. "Hmm..okay..." said Roli. "Okay then...jokes apart...now time is really late...go sleep...i too have office tomorrow..."said Rithik. "Okay..." said Roli.



Rithik covered Roli with a warm cover as he made her lie on her bed. "Sleep..." he said kissing on her forehead. "Good night Bhaiyya..." Roli said with a smile. "Good night..." said Rithik as he switched off the light and moved out of the room. Roli smiled and closed her eyes. But she felt a jolt as she got Sid's picture before her eyes. She let out a smile and said to herself. "Don't be an Asmitha no.2 Roli..." She turned to a comfortable side on her bed and slept as her eyes were on the verge of closing.



Next morning. Asmitha was walking like her chair had thorns. It was 9 and Roli hadn't popped up yet. She wasn't getting sleep whole night after thinking what would have happened here in office after they left? When did Roli and Siddhant leave the office? And most importantly what happened all the while when they were alone? Siddhant was already in; he was having a light chat with Abhi and Akhil. But she didn't have the guts to ask him. Whenever she sees him the already mentioned boat service will begin closing all chances for a question. So waiting for Roli was the only solution. Marking an end to her waiting, Roli entered in a simple blue salwar that perfectly fitted her. Dressed to kill, that was the best description. This increased Asmitha's distress, did she dress so well to attract Siddhant? "Roli..."she called blocking Roli's way. Roli was surprised by the sudden move, but soon it dawned on her head. Roli smiled and asked "what happened Asmi?' "Roli...why you wore salwar today? I mean you always wear jeans and short tops, then why?' she asked with anxiety. Roli couldn't suppress her laughter at Asmitha's silly question, yet she controlled herself. "Woh Asmi...i felt to wear salwar today...So..." "but Roli..." Asmitha begun again. "Move aside Asmi...Siddhant must be waiting..." Roli said acting coy. Asmitha rolled her eyes at this. A single day's encounter and he's waiting for her? What happened so much that he's waiting for her? Roli tried to move away but Asmitha held her hands. "Roli..Roli...Roli...please tell na...what happened yesterday after we left?" she asked. So this is it, this was what she wanted to know. Roli bit her lips trying to suppress her smile. Naughtily she planned to give Asmitha a heart attack. "Oh Asmi...don't ask about it...i feel shy even talking about it..." saying this Roli slightly pushed Asmi's hands and entered her cabin which was next to Siddhant's. Asmitha stood like a statue after hearing all this. "Letting them both stay alone was like keeping fire in the vicinity of petrol..." she murmured.



Soon it was office time. Asmitha was so tensed after what Roli told her and remained hitting her head on it. Soon she saw the peon entering Roli's cabin. She looked intently at what it was and found Roli moving out of her cabin to enter Siddhant's. "has this girl got just this work...always rooted to his cabin..." commented Asmitha irritably. Roli entered Sid's cabin with a sweet smile to which he reciprocated on the same token. "Hey good morning..." he said being friendly. "Good morning..." she wished back with a smile. "Slept well?' asked him almost sarcastically. "ya...slept well in the rest time I had..." she said with a chuckle. Sid gestured Roli to sit and she sat on the chair facing him. "Looking good in the salwar..." said Sid just running his eyes lazily over her frame. "oh ho...so from now on, I'm not gonna wear salwars..."said Roli naughtily. "Oh girl..I'm not flirting...just said..." Sid tried to justify himself. "I knew...i was just joking man..the same way you said about me last night..." said her with a smile. "Aah haan...tit for tat...good..." said Sid. "Aah haan" Roli smiled nodding her head in positive. "So Roli...let's be serious...We have the discussion with the delegates of Anston international this afternoon, so I need you to assist me with the presentation." "That's completely okay..." said Roli being serious. That was when Sid saw Asmitha peeping in to his cabin secretly. A mischievous smile crept on his lips and he sat keeping his both hands on his chin making an impression that he's listening intently to whatever Roli's saying. Roli was surprised by his gesture and looked at him doubtfully. "Asmitha..." said him in a low voice. Roli raised her eyebrows realizing the situation. "She asked me what happened yesterday night..." she said in a very low voice. "Acchha...So don't you think we should let her know?" asked Sid in an ironic way. "But..." began Roli. "Come on...it's gonna be fun..People shouldn't be so nosey after all..." said Sid. "Hmmm...' Roli agreed smiling. All these were said in such a way that Asmitha felt that they were engaged in some romantic talk inside. Sid stood up from his seat and walked to the cabin door making Asmitha to move away. He smiled and let the curtain cover the glass panes. Asmitha's jaw dropped seeing this. "There's something going on between these two..." she confirmed. "There's something between the duo..."said Sid to Roli making her confused. "this may be the dialogue that she said now..." said him. Roli laughed at his joke which has actually turned out true. He joined her and forwarded his fist to her. She thought for a moment and then with a smile bumped her fist with his. They laughed some more time until their hearts were out of the effect of the joke.
