Part 12
Naina felt like a load off her life. Her brother found his way to the wall of fame. Her parents honor was restored. Life was perfect. She was in love with the man she had married, her best friend, her Raj.
But what would happen next? She had insisted that they annul the marriage the moment the mission got over. But she couldn't bear the thought of parting from Raj.
She had to confess her feelings to him, She felt goosebumps as she thought about becoming his wife in the real sense of the word.
She had to make this perfect. She planned for a week and finally told Raj one day
Naina: It's my best friend's wedding at Hotel Royal Palace today. Can you wear this and show up at 7 pm?
Raj who was distracted and worried, said yes absent-mindedly.
Naina couldn't hold her excitement the whole day. She had booked a hotel room for Raj and herself and had planned every detail on her own. She wanted this confession to be absolutely perfect and wanted to give Raj all the rights as a husband today!
Naina reached the hotel room and decorated it herself.
She was pleased with the results. She wanted this to be the day when she consummates her relation with Raj. She had already given her heart, mind and soul to Raj and today she wanted to give her body to him as well.
She had had a hard time choosing the right outfit. She wanted an outfit that would be simple and sexy. She got ready and looked at herself in the mirror shyly!
She looked at herself and blushed. She only wanted to Raj to see her like this. She was wearing a backless choli and a lowrise lehenga which displayed the beautiful curves of her mind. She closed her eyes and shuddered with excitement as she imagined Raj;'s gentle hands removing these clothes and making her his.
The clock struck 7 and there was no sign of Raj. His number was switched off. Time passed. 8pm. 9pm. 10pm.
Naina was beginning to panic. Finally she received a call from Raj who asked her to come to the jail where Sarah was kept. Sensing the distress in his voice, she changed immediately and rushed to find Raj and Abhimnayu both at the jail.
Raj: Naina, we have been interrogating Sarah further and it's clear that she was merely carrying out instructions. She isn't the mastermind.
Abhi: There's obviosly a major nexus at play. And we have a good idea who one of key players could be.
Raj: Shut up Abhimnayu! Not a word more.
Abhi: Naina I am convinced that the man behind all this is N.D. GEHLOT.
Raj: SHUT UP ABHI!!!!! LALA GEHLOT IS LIKE MY FATHER. HE WOULD NEVER DO THIS. EVEN WHEN I WENT TO HIM FOR NAVEEN'S CASE HE ONLY WANTED TO HELP.
Naina calmed Raj down. He cupped her face in his hands and looked at her pleadingly.
Raj: You believe me, don't you?
Naina: Of course I do Raj. But if we want to find the mastermind, and prove Lala Sahab's innocence we have to speak to him once,You see dont you?
Raj nodded.
Raj: Fine let's go to Delhi immediately.
Abhi: I will come too. raj this is about Naveen, Can we please put our differences aside?
On landing in Delhi, Raj and Naina went to Raj's flat while Abhi went to the palace his family owned in the outskirts of the city.
Raj was wrestless and couldn't sleep. Naina gently placed Raj's head in her lap and started massaging his back. He suddenly put his hands around Naina's waist and started crying.
Raj: He can't do this. He can't...
Naina: Shh.. She gently began kissing the tears of his face. Come here. Lie down next to me.
She held him closely and continued ruffling his har till he fell asleep hugging her.
Next day Raj went to Lala Gehlot's office and spent 6 hours there.
Naina and Abhi were in Raj's flat waiting for him. Raj came back with a smile on his face.
Raj: I was right. Lala Sahab has no role in this.
Naina: How do you know Raj?
Abhi: What cock and bull story has he fed you this time?
Raj: Abhi leave, you have no say in this matter.
After Abhi left, Raj kept convincing Naina telling her how Lala Sahab had sworn on their relation.

Raj: You seem to be speaking Abhi's language.
Naina: Raj! Please let me just investigate neutrally.

Naina had tears in her eyes. She packed and made her way out desperately trying to catch Raj's eyes. But Raj had his back to her!
Abhi was standing outside waiting for her.
Abhi: I knew it. Raj can never be rational...
Naina: Stop it! I need your help investigating Lala Gehlot but i won't hear a word against Raj.
Abhi: Come with me to my palace.
Naina, I'll find a hotel.
abHI: Naina, stop being stubborn, If we have to investigate LALA we need a safe place and there's no place safer than my palace in the city.
Reluctantly she agreed. Her mind was in a daze about what had just happened with Raj. She didn't even realize when she reached the palace.
Abhi: Naina this is the most beautiful room in the palace.
Naina barely looked at the room.
Naina: Thanks ABhimanyu. I am very tired. Can I...
Abhimanyu: Of course.
Naina closed the door behind Abhimanyu. She was restless and didn't get any sleep. She looked at Raj's photo and cried. She then took a couple of sleeping pills and finally fell asleep.
Some time later Abhimanyu entered the room. He knew she had taken sleeping pills and would be deep asleep. Her shoulders and arms were visible and her cleavage was visible. To abhimanyu's lust eyes she looked very tempting.
