"Didi have this..you didn't eat anything since morning, and your siddhant sir didn't even ask you to have something..so rude"said gautham holding a spoon full of rice in front of roli who was drenched in tears..it reminded her of siddhant's words saying that he was proud of her..she got a smile.."now why are you smiling?" Asked gautham.."gautham you know what sir told me today? He said I made him feel proud..I made him proud of me gautham"said roli excitedly but her excitement came to an end when she realised what her father's decision was.."its over gautham..everything came to an end"said roli and kept her chin on her folded knees.."didi why do you worry, may not be papa but one day my jiju will come sitting on a horse and he will fulfill all your dreams"said gautham trying to console her..roli gave a wired smile and turned against gautham.."I'm not hungry..let me be alone for sometime"said roli...gautham gave a deep sigh and left the room without any option.."she looked outside at the stars through her window.."I forgot that I m not among those who have a right to have freedom, I m a bird locked in my father's cage" mumbled roli and cuddled to her pillow to fetch some sleep

The next day morning...siddhant walked through the corridor and searched for roli in the ward..."shwetha didn't roli come yet?"asked sid "no sir roli mam didn't turn up till now"said shwetha giving medications to a patient.."roli never gets late, how come today?"asked sid..he pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialed roli's number..

Roli who slept nearing dawn was sleeping on her bed and her phone kept on vibrating on her side table..and then screen showed up 5 missed calls siddhant sir..

Gautham rushed to her mom with a newspaper in his hand..."ma ma see this"called gautham in excitement.."what is it?"asked meena seeing her son's excitement..gautham showed her the front page of the newspaper which had a big picture of roli standing beside the great political leaders..meena was happy to see her daughter's pic in the newspaper..she read the line written below the pic.."special thanks to Dr. Siddhant and Dr roli for their outstanding devotion and help to all the victims" meena smiled and caressed roli's pic..gautham hugged her sidewise.."are you happy mom?"asked gautham.."yes I am..I am proud of my daughter"said meena...the next second they heard jamnalal's voice.."where the hell is today's newspaper?" Shouted jamnalal in anger...gautham and meena looked at each other ..meena seperated the first page and asked gautham to give the remaining papers to jamnalal.."but why ma? Let him see what his daughter was doing yesterday..may be he will change his mind"said gautham.."no gautham your father won't be happy instead he will be more angry to see this pic"said meena.."no ma let's try once, may be some miracle happens " said gautham and took the first paper from his mother and arranged it properly..he went to the hall and gave the news paper to jamnalal and stood there itself to see his reaction..jamnalal lazily looked at the pic and turned the page..probably he missed to notice roli in that pic..gautham felt bad and turned to go..the phone in the hall rang and jamnalal who was sitting next to it picked it up.."hello"said jamna "how are you jamna? Seems like you have become too modern now a days"said the voice over the phone.."why are you saying so bhaiya?"asks jamna.."I think you didn't read today's newspaper"said the voice.."its in my hand.why what happened "asked jamna.."see the front page..what your daughter is doing"said the voice..jamna lal quickly turned the page to see the pic.."ROLI"shouted jamna in anger..surprising gautham.."papa di is sleeping"said gautham."yes yes she must be getting good sleep after spoiling our name"said jamna "papa? Spoil? Instead she has done something to make you feel proud?" Said gautham "proud? I'm ashamed to say she is my daughter, in our house girls and ladies are supposed to stay at home and now everyone will come to know that roli has spoiled our family's image"said jamna..just then they heard a door bell..gautham opened the door and stared at the person standing in front.." Dr. Siddhant?"asked gutham.

"Dr. Siddhant?"said gautham looking at siddhant standing at the door...he wasn't sure how it will be to call him inside as his father was in top of his anger and ego...but the other moment he thought of his sister who was sleeping with swollen eyes on her bed.."plz come inside"said gautham giving him way.."ma Dr.siddhant Didi's sir came "said rohan calling his mom..siddhant looked at jamna lal who was standing in the hall but didn't greeted him neither his look was good.."so you are that doctor for whom my daughter works?" Asked jamnalal..siddhant was confused with jamna's way of talk.."yes, I'm Dr. Siddhant and Dr. roli is working as my assistant"said siddhant.."sir you please be seated some people are still living in medival period"commented gautham looking at jamna...siddhant got an idea that something was going really wrong in this house.."namaste"greeted meena seeing siddhant.."namaste..roli didn't come today and she isn't lifting her phone either so just came to make sure everything is okay"said sid..."she hasn't come and she isn't going to come either"commented jamna standing at back..siddhant looked at him with a confused thought.."I will call roli.. "Roli roli wake up your sir is here"said meena shaking roli..but roli was too drowsy to even open her eyes.."roli get up he is sitting in front of your papa"said meena..but roli didn't react..meena found it fishy..roli never did this way, how can she sleep like this"thought meena and shaked her more when a small bottle dropped from roli's hand and rolled on the floor...Meena picked up the bottle and read on it..it was a bottle of pills which meena had no idea what it was but she understood that roli had emptied the whole bottle and she was under its effect.."gautham come quick roli has consumed some pills"shouted meena in panic..siddhant and gautham who heard this rushed to the room...meena was shaking her as an attempt to wake her up from her deep sleep but it was all going in vain..siddhant looked at the bottle "shoot, she has consumed lot of sedatives we need to take her to hospital quick"said siddhant..meena who heard this was shattered, "my daughter will be okay na?"asked meena holding siddhant's hand..I will try my best to save her"said siddhant...gautham lifted roli in his arms.."let's go sir, plz save my didi"said gautham in a pleading voice..siddhant nodded and rushed towards his car followed by gautham with roli in his arms..jamnalal who witnessed all this was little worried but his ego was much stronger which didn't allow him to move an inch..
