Very nice update...hope khushi also becomes clever like others...she is so innocent...and that preetham has some guts here...hope they both get aware of all the things happening around them...

nice update..preetam is so.. urgh..i hate her..khushi is upsate with her chachu and she should be..arnav should have atleast call her yaar...but plz in every situation arnqv and khushi should be with each other.. fighting together...and i think they should head back together to arnav's home after all these thinking of khushi's chachu..loved the update..

Poor khusi i hope arnav n she sort out things n its high time that khusi shifts in her sasural or otherwise there would be more problems n one in the form of preethem i just hate that girl.

PART-21:

The next day:

Arnav reached office on time. He walked to Shashi Gupta's cabin with determined steps. Shashi was early to work as he knew Arnav would meet him here. Rita was told to let Arnav in as soon as he came.

Shashi: Arnav, how are you?

Arnav (handing him an envelop): I'm fine sir. I want you to take a look at this.

Shashi: What is this?...Arnav, what do you mean resignation???

Arnav: We discussed before my marriage that I wouldn't tolerate being treated as the CEO's son-in-law here. The rule has been broken, the deal is off.

Shashi: Arnav, listen to me please..

Arnav (interrupting Shashi): Sorry sir, I know according to our company policy, we have a period of 4 weeks after turning in the resignation. I will work for that period, and then will leave the company.

Shashi was too stunned to think of an excuse soon. Shashi had decided long back that the future of the company lies in Arnav's hands. But looks like Arnav made up his mind. He needed to convince Arnav somehow.

Arnav (took a few steps towards the door and stopped): Sir, how is Khushi doing?

Shashi: She was broken last night. Arnav, talk to her once.

It hurt Arnav when he heard that Khushi was upset.

Arnav: I will definitely talk to her today, but when I meet her in person, not on phone. There are a few important things that we need to talk about.

Just then, the door of the cabin opened revealing Khushi. Arnav and Khushi looked at each other as if they had not seen each other in months.

Khushi couldn't stand anymore. She rushed straight into Arnav's arms and started crying. Arnav hugged her back.

Arnav felt bad for Khushi. He couldn't take her tears.

Arnav (rubbing her back gently): Hush Khushi, don't cry. Sweetheart, don't cry. You will fall sick.

Shashi was overjoyed to see the love in Arnav's eyes for Khushi. He wanted to give the couple some space.

Shashi: I will step out for a meeting. Will talk to you both later.

That's when Arnav realized that he was in Shashi's cabin hugging Khushi. He swiftly pulled her out of his arms.

Arnav: Sorry about this; I'll be taking Khushi to my cabin.

Saying so, he held Khushi's hand and walked out of Shashi's cabin.

Arnav took Khushi to his cabin, closed and locked the door. He pulled her close to him and slammed his lips on hers.

"I'm sorry Khushi", he said against her lips.

"I was scared Arnav, very scared when you didn't come back home", she said.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, I was angry Khushi", "I don't manage my anger well", Arnav mumbled softly.

"Papa told me what happened; but why didn't you call me Arnav?", she asked.

"I didn't know what to tell/ how to tell you Khushi; after all he is your uncle", "I mean, he is your family".

Khushi pulled back from his arms and looked at his eyes accusationally.

"Is that all you know me? Is that all you understand me?", Khushi asked furiously.

"Baby",Arnav said as he lifted his right hand to touch her.

"No", she said stepping back, "Don't try to sweet-talk me now", she was furious, "How can you say he is my family, What are you then?"

Arnav stood motionless looking at her without a single word.

Khushi came forward and hugged him tight again, "You are my family Arnav. Anyone else is only after you. You are my life Arnav."

That was it for Arnav. The anger, frustration, and exhaustion of yesterday were dissolved in Khushi's words. "You are my life Arnav" kept repeating in his head. He realized how foolish he had been staying away from her yesterday.

Arnav: I'm really sorry Khushi. I have been hare-brained. I made us both suffer by staying away from you. We could have tackled this way more easily if we were together.

Khushi (still hugging him): We can deal with anything in the world if we are together Arnav.

Arnav: I agree darling. I promise whatever it is, we will confront it united from now on.

He pulled Khushi's face up from his chest, wiped her tears, and sealed his promise with a kiss. Khushi kissed him back with equal fervor. Arnav sucked her lower lip slowly, and then bit it hard. When Khushi gasped, he smiled at her.

"Did it hurt Khushi?", he asked playing innocent.

"This is the second time you are doing this in office", she said lowering her head.

"Doing what Khushi?",he asked his eyes twinkling.

Khushi's face was flushed. She didn't answer him.

"You know what? You look more beautiful when you are angry. I like this fire in you Khushi. And I absolutely loved your hot kiss",he said his lips curving up in a smile.

Khushi buried her face in his chest embarrassed that she had kissed him back so zealously.

Arnav kissed her hair and suddenly turned stiff. Khushi immediately noticed the change and looked up at him.

"Khushi, I gave my resignation to your father today", he said seriously, "I have a notice period of 4 weeks".

"Hmm", Khushi said.

"One more thing Khushi, I can't stay in GM anymore considering your Chachu lives there. I can understand if you don't want to move out. I will...", Arnav was about to continue when Khushi interrupted him.

"Arnav, I am your wife. I live wherever you live."

For the second time in an hour, Arnav's heart was filled with pride.

That very moment Arnav realized how lucky he truly was... with that Angel in his life...

"Arnav",Khushi's voice brought him out of his thoughts, "so what time will you come?"

"What?", Arnav had lost the thread of her conversation while deep in his thoughts.

"I said, I will go to GM and pack our bags",she continued, "What time will you come to pick me up?"

"Khushi, be ready by 6", he said, "but first I am taking my wife out for breakfast now since I'm sure she would not have eaten anything since last night."

"But Arnav, this is your office time...",Arnav interjected her with a long kiss, "You speak too much missy, now shut up and come with me".

While Khushi adjusted her tousled hair and dress, Arnav sent an email to his concerned colleagues that he would be out of office for a couple of hours. They stepped out for some breakfast and beverages.

Same Evening at GM:

Khushi was extremely angry with her Chachu and to an extent with her mom for siding with her chachu. She had not told them that they were leaving GM. But Khushi did not want to hurt her father and was waiting for him to come home, so she could explain and convince him.

Preetham came into Khushi's room as she hadn't seen her since morning. Khushi was almost done packing her bags.

Preetham: Khushi, what are you doing? Are you both going somewhere?

Khushi: Ha Preetham, we are.

Preetham was jealous that Arnav and Khushi were going somewhere and when Khushi did not tell her where they were going, she went and conveyed the message to Garima. Since she had come to GM for vacation, Preetham had figured out that Arnav was not in Garima's good books.

Garima: Khushi, where are you going beta?

Khushi (sighing): We are moving out Amma.

Garima got serious instantaneously, "What do you mean Khushi?"

Khushi: Amma, please understand. After what happened yesterday, we are not comfortable staying here. So Arnav and I are moving out.

Preetham was horrified that Arnav was leaving GM. She ran to get Bua to support Garima.

Garima: What nonsense Khushi? He has a bloated ego and you are blindly encouraging it. What is the need for you to leave the house?

Khushi: Amma, it is not his ego but self-respect. And yesterday it was Chachu's fault and not Arnav's. You can check with Papa. How can Arnav live where chachu lives?

Shashi had just entered the house and heard the altercation between his wife and daughter. Bua and Preetham looked stunned at the soft Khushi talking back to her mother.

Shashi: Beta, what happened?

Khushi: Papa, I hope you don't misunderstand us and judge Arnav. I have been waiting to tell you this. Arnav wanted to talk to you in the afternoon but I told him that I would talk to you first. We are planning to move out of the house Papa.

Shashi (flabbergasted): What?

He then thought seriously for a while and said, "Is it because of what happened yesterday?"

Arnav had come to pick up Khushi by then. He heard Shashi and wanted to smoothen it out with him. Arnav knew Shashi was not at fault and he loved his daughter a lot. Arnav wanted to be gentle with Shashi for Khushi's sake.

Arnav: Not just that, it has also been a while since I have been staying here. Nani had promised you that we would stay here after marriage, and I think we did spend a considerable amount of time with you all. I think Khushi and I should move back to my place.

Shashi knew that if Arnav had made up his mind it is difficult to dissuade him. But he wanted to try for his princess.

Shashi: Can you not stay back for some more time Arnav?

Bua: You have a lifetime to live there Khushi, but beta stay with us for some more time.

Preetham: Ha Arnav, I have 3 more weeks of vacation. Please stay back atleast until I leave to America.

Arnav and Khushi were silent, they looked at each other.

Garima was enraged that Khushi stayed mute leaving the decision in Arnav's hands.

Garima (to Khushi): Since the wedding, and even before that, I have seen you adjust to him in every possible way. But Arnav can't adjust for you at all? What kind of a relationship is this Khushi? Why is it always only about him? Why don't you carry any value Khushi?

Khushi: That's not true Amma. Arnav gives a lot of importance to me.

Garima: Really Khushi?

Now Arnav was angry."Mrs.Gupta has no clue about the magnitude of relationship between Khushi and me", he thought. "If Khushi could do anything and everything for me, I could do the same for her."Arnav remembered Khushi telling him that he was her life. He made up his mind.

Arnav: Alright, we will stay here for a month.

Now Khushi was shocked, "But Arnav...".

Arnav (looking at Khushi): People have no clue about the depth of our relationship Khushi. And I know, I was not very accommodative in the initial days of our marriage. But now, I don't mind staying back another month for you... only for you..

Shashi and Bua relaxed. Shashank who had silently watched the entire discussion left from there in a huff. He disliked the way a middle class GI employee exerted control over his office and his home.

"Thank you, Arnav. I have three more weeks to make you mine",Preetham smiled to herself, "Considering the fact that you don't even share the same bed with Khushi, it's not going to be very difficult."

Clearly, Preetham underestimated Arnav Singh Raizada...

oh wow first part was so sweet with arnav and khushi.

preetham I don't want arnav to do anything to u I want khushi to fix ur business n put u n ur no good father out, n arnav can fix sheetal u both girls r same I think u guys should marry each other.

I kinda hate khushi mother when she marry shashi did she stay back in her house no right u move out to ur husband house so how the hell do u want khushi to stay back.

Awesome update...arnav and khushi's relation is now so strong that no can break it...koi bhi aajaye sheetal aur preetham does not matter...loved the way they both are doing things just for each others comfort...when arnav change the desicion of leaving gupta house i thought oh no...but the last line made me so relax and happy...so no worries who ever comes in arnav khushi's releationship asr is not gone forgive him/her..
