I was so looking forward to this stage Of this story.Two things I got.
One...Children see and hear more than we think they do. They deduce situations ... Equations more quickly than we give them credit for
Two... Child of a deceased parent has his own cycles of grief to go through and accept no matter what age they are at...

Neel grieved, healed and now finds himself ready to move on wanting to feel part of being a couple again, liking to be a couple again with suvi.
But for Nihar, it's not a spouse that he's grieving over, it's biological , he sees only one set of parents in his eyes... Nupur as mother and ne as father...
Who knows ...by accepting suvi or seeing her as a substitute may be he's having the same set of loyalty issues , of turning disloyal to Nupur just like his dad felt a few weeks earlier

'Dating' when it leads to something more significant always have emotional, practical... Whole set of issues to contend with specifically when there are children involved.It's complicated isn't it... ? Neel sees Suvi, their feelings for each other as the greatest thing ever happenned to him after Nupur but Nihar sees suvi's presence day in day out as intrusion of privacy...
It's tough... It's delicate ... It's walking on ropes ...

For Neel, It's a balancing act ...being sensitive and open to Nihar's feelings and issues ... Being patient but not at the cost of his own...

I went for a walk and left my 8 year old at my sitter's
She was having a block party for the 4th... one day early
He watched fireworks and returned a second ago
I had to pay her daughter for a sitting in Jan, she is totally EVIL
she brought over leftover cake from the party with choc icing and fresh fruit topping

Enjoy... Your post increases my pangs more of wanting to be there... but this year , our set of parents will be visiting us here soon... That's a consolation for now.
