A Dog's life
When she drove into the gates with the lil monsters and the half dead dogs, Ranjan got up and sprinted towards her car panicking
"Gudiya kithe?" he demanded, she lowered her windows and laughed
"I gave these two a ride, Sahan tried to kill Chuck, now the twins are,
Ranjan opened the door the boys flew out, the dogs sat on the car seat each and looked at her soulfully
"This is IT Lady... drive us out of here!!"
"Dont u think we shout eat first?" James began
"Are u kidding? Shes on her way... these two are busy with the old man, if she is still willing to drive I am tellin ya, LETS BAIL"
"Shes probably going to nurse and sleep, shes tortured us enough for one day, the Mom is here, we have nothing to fear"
"Thats what u think!" Chuck scoffed
"Look at it this way man, there are gates and we have custom beds and Iyer food we live like kings I tell ya KINGSSSđ... the world is rough out out there" James insistedđ
"Yennada, yeranga porela illeya?" (are u guys planning to get down?)
They grunted
She turned the AC off, they scowled
"Ada Paavi... nai pozhappu solluva.(its a dog's life)... it certainly doesnt apply to YOU two"
"Sure! lady... go ahead mock us... u have no idea what that leaking ball of flesh does to us during the day!!" James complained
"Get down... I have to park the car go take a shower, she is on her way!!" II spoke like she was talking to humans
Ranjan came back carrying the twins, both had an ikweem bar in their hand
"Utar jaayin gudiya?" he blew air kisses
"Dad get them out" she begged
She got off, gave him the keys, picked up her purse and laptop bag and walked across the lawn towards the swing
The wide gates swung open
The guard was holding Sahana, R&B parked his bike and two trailing baby carriers
Nivi left hers in the middle of the lawn
"Amma ennoda ice cream?" (where is mine?)
II lay on the swing and yawned...
"Do u need a beer?" he asked
"A glass of red wine will be good" she mumbled
Mavvy brought red wine... Sid smacked Ved's icecream and they pulled each other's hair sitting on Ranjan's arms
He fought off and tried to defend both
R&B grabbed one and held him upside down by his feet Sid screamed
"HE DID IT!!"
"Enough!" he ordered
Nivi watched stunned
R&B set Sid down
He began kicking, R&B held him down, laying on the grass
"Sid! I said enough"
"He bwoke my ikeem"
"Aur laayen kyaa?" Mavvy asked pleading
"Nope" R&B said
"Na puttar... bache haingey ne" Ranjan begged
"He kicked pushed and shoved him" R&B said
"Cam I get mun? (Can I get one?) Ved placed his application
"Nee cycle gap la auto vidreya da?" (u are being sneaky?)
Ranjan chuckled "Pota kiska haiga?" he was damn proud
"May I have?" Nivi begged
"Sure love!" R&B cooed pacifying a sobbing Sid
II yawned shutting her eyes
"Mavvy nu keh gudiya, khichri... raati khichri" he muttered sitting down in a rattan sofa
"No I am making idli, tomato chutney, coconut chutney and sambar" Ii sat up, like she was shot
"Kal bana leen puttar" Ranjan blew air kisses
"Like I am going to be more relaxed tomorrow
Nivi brought her ice cream bar out
The boys looked at it sadly
"Can u say sorry to each other?" R&B asked
"Soweee" they shouted
"I mill mever mever pus him" Sid said loudly
II rolled on the swing at the PUS
"II" R&B scolded
"Sorry" "Nivi, nee vaa kanna" she hugged her daughter
"Beta" Ranjan coaxed II
"Dad the fact that Mavvy is alive every evening warms my heart" II said
"Hum woh Star Bhars mein pehne hai na HARMOR" "Woh pehne hain" Mavvy insisted
The dogs leaped out of the car
And licked every bit of the half melted vanilla chocolate bar that both boys dropped
"Maybe they got rid of her? What do u think? James asked Chuck
"I thought she returned with the man?" Chuck said
"I DONT see her... FEEE UUU" James cackled loudly
The guard brought a screaming Sahana
"Uh oh!" said James, running inside the house as fast as he could
