Ch 7 : His Gentleness
Rey parked his car in parking area, he turned off the engine and look at his wife, who was nervously fidgeting with her duppatta while lost in her own thoughts. He could tell she was nervous, he hesitated for a moment before he placed his hand on hers.
Her trance was broken, shiver ran down her spine feeling his touch, he was rubbing his thumb against her skin, gently, which made her heart flutter. She lifted her eye lashes and look at him, and found herself lost in him, he was so perfect, flawless, with well build physique, the broad shoulders, brown orbs, neatly gelled hair, those lips..
STOP! She groaned mentally, putting a full stop on her thoughts which had took slightly dirty turn, mentally cursing herself for going off the track, she shook her head to get those thoughts about him out of her system.
"Stop ogling over him like a hormones driven teenager! What will he think about you-" Her conscious mind scolded her, she bit her lower lip in nervousness. It was first time, she is finding herself attracted to someone and that someone is her own husband, who is definition of perfection.
"Taani, are you alright?" His huskiest deep tone, broke her trance. She look at her husband who was staring back at her with amusement twinkling in his eyes, seeing her so lost in herself.
"Are you okay?" Rey asked her once again, and this time she nodded, with a small smile.
"So? Lets go inside-" Rey suggested, Taani gave a small nod. She opened the door of her side, and stepped out of the car while he did the same. Rey walked over her and stand before her.
"Welcome to RS industries." He whispered with softness in his voice. Taani smiled, which he returned and they both walked inside the premises.
All heads turned toward them as they walked inside, Rey gave a small nod to his staff who greeted him. Rey took her inside his cabin, while his staff was shocked seeing a girl with their boss since no one had really seen face of Mrs. Reyaansh Singhania.
"Who is she?" A girl asked the HR head, sakshi who was also witnessing the scene with fury in her eyes.
"She is the new employee, but i wonder what she is doing with Rey?" Even sakshi was confused, seeing the employee with their boss.

Rey's cabin.
"Taani, you will be assisting me in upcoming project." Rey said to her, after he gave her a small tour of the office and explained her about her duties. Taani nodded at him.
"Okay, Sir."
"It's Rey. You know, hearing sir from you, makes me feel little awkward." Rey corrected her, making her giggle softly. Rey smiled at her, these days he never get tired of her hearing her laughter. Unknown to him, she making space in his heart, the same heart which was filled with nothing but pain & loneliness.
