I can't believe it! I am married man now. I turn to my left side looking at my wife, she rested her head on the car window, few tears rolling down her face, I sighed inwards recalling the moment - I agreed for this marriage ten days ago.

Its been busy day, I just completed my dinner with my pal Naveen and Dr. Shalini. We three share special bond since our academy days... Me and Naveen share a quarter since the moment I got posted here. I am teaching strategy and communication. Once I settle inside my room. I called home because earlier while I was teaching my class, I had miss call from home. I chatted with everyone and mostly with my mother. She told me about her best friend Meera and her family too. I came know that her friend's son is also in the army; also she told me that she laid proposal for me after being impressed by her friend's daughter. I was stun hearing my mother. I never thought about relationships or marriages because I am already married to my country.

Five more days pass by. My mother called me asking for my reply. I had thought about the proposal for pass five days and now I accepted the alliance after learning from my mother that its yes from the bride side of the family.

I had extremely long meeting with BC regarding my leave. Finally BC granted me the leave for my marriage also gave his approval for letting my wife stay with me after the marriage over here.

3hrs later

After the meeting, I got busy with my class, once I was done teaching. I went inside my quarter and saw Naveen looking upset. I sat opposite him and informed him about my leave for few days regarding my marriage.

Raj: Naveen, mai tum se kuch kehna hai.

Naveen: Haan, Veer

Raj: mai shaadee kar raha hoon.

Naveen: Kya? How? And Why you never told me earlier?

Raj: Even I wasn't sure about marriages because I always believe I am married to our country, but recently few days ago, Mom called and told me that she laid proposal for me. And her friend's family agreed for the marriage.

Naveen: When is the wedding and what about your leave?

Raj: I just had long meeting with BC and he gave me leave for five days. I am leaving tonight itself and my marriage date is arrange for two days from today.

Naveen: Congrats buddy. I can't believe it! You are getting married too.

Raj: Kaun aur ki shaadi is happening apart from me?

Naveen: Unfortunately, my sister is getting married in two days, and I won't able to attend her wedding... of my Chashni.

Raj: Oh! Your sister is getting married. Its because of me, you can't go. I feel sorry. I wish I could do something for you. I bet your sister must be angry with you.

Naveen: Hey, don't blame yourself. I am happy that you are settling down in your life and I am happy for you and I know how to cheer up my Chashni.

Raj: Thanks buddy. I am so happy that I have friend like you. You are true friend. (both of them hugged each other emotionally).

Naveen: Forget everything, tell me about your would be wife.

Raj: Even I don't know much about her, only that she's my Mom's best's friend's daughter and before I can her hear her name, my phone got disconnected.

2hrs later

Naveen gave me warm brotherly hug. He wished me "best of luck" for my future and I drove away toward my destination.

Throughout the night I've driven without any breaks to Nainital. I greet my family at the hotel, my entire family greeting me emotionally. I couldn't believe hours went by chatting with my family and I requested them to make marriage quiet affair. I don't want lavishing marriage, only simple.

Priya smiles at Rajveer and careless his face.

Priya: Raj, honestly both of you are same. Naina requested for simple wedding instead of lavish because her brother can't attend the wedding.

Raj: Why, her brother couldn't come?

Priya: kyunki, her brother is also in the army.

Raj's mind froze for moment and thought to himself - if he's getting married to his pal's sister, but his mind told him that its just coincident.

Samrat brother Rajveer inside their room, both of them settle on the sofa.

Samrat: Aap kaise hai, Big B? Mai tumhen itana yaad kiya hai. (Samrat hugged Rajveer tightly. Rajveer gently rubbing Samrat's back).

Raj: I missed you too, Sammy. I am fine.

Samrat: Big B, enough of chatting and now fresh up and take rest, tomorrow is busy day for everyone, mostly you.

Next day, my entire family reach at the temple, where marriage taking place. Priest called me and I settle in my place. He start chatting religious words after several time my bride sat down beside me. I was trying to look at her face, its covered ghoonghat.

Few minutes later,

Our marriage ceremony finish with us, seeking blessing from our family members and vidaai took place after having light meal at her home.

It was difficult leaving behind my family, during vidaai moment I felt empty, missing my bro the most, my eyes were searching for him every single moment. My thoughts halts with vehicle stopping roughly, my husband held me from my shoulders otherwise I would have hit my head. I look at him for few minutes before he step out of the car and I came out after him. His mother/Priya Auntie, asked us to fresh up and rest for some time before heading toward the airport and flying to their home in Deli. I followed them inside the hotel, his parents entered their room (one suit bedroom) and us three entered different room. In that room had two bedrooms, one for him (Raj. and Naina) and the other one for his brother (Samrat).

Naina enter their room with Raj, She observe the place and its decoration, her skin began to feel goosebumps thinking about their first night together. Raj close door behind him and informed Naina that he'll fresh up first meanwhile she can remove her accessories before freshening up. Naina agreed with him.

Once Raj, went inside the washroom, Naina start removing her ornaments slowly, slowly, her hair got tangle with her necklace. She tried removing it and each time she got unsuccessful and more messy. She sighed in frustration.

Raj came out and saw Naina's reflection in the mirror. Automatically his feet took him behind Naina and place his hand on top of her hand. He stare at Naina through mirror reflection and Naina also return the gesture. He asked with his eyes and Naina gave permission by removing her hand and closing her eyes while his fingers untangle her hair. She gasp, when his finger touch her bare skin and once he was done Naina stood up, excusing herself and rushing inside the washroom.

Next Day,

Raj and his family arrival at Deli. His mother welcome them inside traditionally, Naina enter her new home by knocking down the kalash filled with rice and stepping inside kumkum water, leaving behind her footprints.

Priya had taken them inside the puja room where they lilt a diya together and done the aarti as well...After some time, Priya take Naina inside Rajveer's room and explained her that from now onwards this is her home, her family and her room too. Naina gave her smile and touch her feet. Priya left Naina observing the room (clearly understanding, its her suhaag raat) and return with packet in her hand. She gave that packet to Naina, informing her that its from Rajveer's cousin Prachi; and asked her to fresh up.

Rajveer come inside his room, sight of his room, made him harden with desire, atmosphere was romantic fragment, looking around the room, made him figure out that Prachi is behind the changes in his room during their absent.

Naina open the packet finding revealing purple nighty, she place it back in the packet and start looking for her bag, only realizing its not in the room.

Naina began cursing her luck, freshen up same time, she wore nighty, feeling nervous going out of the washroom. She heard the door open and close of the bedroom. She look at herself in the mirror, feeling unhappy about the knee length nighty. She found a fresh black shirt hanging in the washroom, without any hesitation she wore the shirt over her nighty and came out.
