Mrs. Ahluwalia screaming in the labour room for several hours...
finally after long struggle a tear of happiness shine in her eyes while she listen to her child crying the moment it arrive...

Nurse brought the bundle of joy toward Mr. Ahluwalia and stated "its a girl" Mr. Ahluwalia took his daughter in his arms and snuggle to her face. Girl kept on watching the new face and smile cutely.
Mr. Ahluwalia inquired about his wife. Nurse stated that she's doing fine and resting after long process of birth. Once they shift her into private ward than they could meet her. Nurse took the baby and went inside the room again.

Mrs. Ahluwalia woken up and held her daughter
Same time Mr. Ahluwalia enter inside the room with their son.
Boy of eight years old watch his parents smile and crying same time. He march toward his mom and inquirer about the new edition she's holding.
Mrs. Ahluwalia smile at her son "Naveen beta, you remember few months ago I told you that you might have bother or sister" Naveen nodding his head "well Naveen meet your sister" Naveen staring at the tiny figure wrapped in pink towel...with his small finger he tries catching her tiny hand "Mumma, she's so soft and sweet just like sugar" Mrs. Ahluwalia smiles "Mumma, can I hold my sister" he asked his Mom.
Mr. Ahluwalia help Naveen sit beside his mother and together they held the baby and that instant Naveen called her Chashni.

August 15 1999
12yrs old boy slept peacefully cuddling his sister. Around 12 in mid-light he woke up and kissed his sister's forehead.
Quietly untangle himself out of her grip and left the room.

Girl of 4yrs old, woke up rubbing her eyes and stared looking for her brother, but when she couldn't find him... her eyes start getting wet and ran out of her room. She went downstairs and got shock of her life...
Entire living room decorated with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse balloon stating "Happy Birthday Chashni" and birthday cake kept in the middle. She went toward the cake and read "Happy Birthday Naina/Chashni" Her mom, dad and brother sang "Happy Birthday song" afterwards her Mom help her cut the cake. She feed her brother first than her parents. They also feed her too.
Naina hug her brother tightly "I love you, Bhaiyya" "I love you too, Chashni" Mr. And Mrs. Ahluwalia smile looking at their children and pray for their happiness

Naveen smiled reading the letter he just got and rush toward his parents. He lifted his mom and twirl her in circle shouting "Mumma, i got accepted in Kanchanjunga Military Academy. I'm so happy" "Naveen, for god sake put me down" Naveen put his mother on her feet and hugged her tightly.
Meera's eyes got happiness seeing his son's happiness, but one person stood outside the kitchen hearing everything and started crying.
Naveen saw his Chashni running away.
Naveen freed himself from his mother and ran toward his sister. Naina went inside her room and started crying more while hugging her teddy.
Naveen went inside the room and tried talking to her.
First Naina pushed him away, but after sometime broke down more in his arm while Naveen hugged her tightly.
Few minutes later
Naveen wipe his sister's tear and explained her his dream of joining Army. At first Naina didn't understand anything, but looking at her brother's smile... she understood his passion for Army and hugged him with a smile.
Naveen felt peaceful seeing his Chashni smile...

Veer gave Naveen a simple solution that brought smile on Naveen's face.
